29th August:- Parenting is a responsibility as well
as a privilege .Every child comes on this earth with a special purpose, with
certain uniqueness .The duty of a parent is to let them learn and grow in their
own unique way .This discussion by B K Sapna , Senior Rajyoga Teacher from
China, was a part of an educative and informative talk on ‘SUPER PARENTS,GENIUS
KIDS’;a discourse on parent –child relationship held at Brahmakumaris ,Peace
Cottage,sec-51,CHD.
B K Sapna in an intense
psychoanalytical yet simplified manner, made an effort to let parents
understand the mantra of real parenting .She said that children can be taught a
lot even in a playful manner .Their faults can easily be corrected if parents
nurture a positive attitude.
B K Sapna said that parents should
try and understand their child’ psyche .Parents can become the backbone of
their child’ future and can help them achieve their goals .Didi Sapna
said that no children have equal abilities .One could be good in sports and not
so good in academics whereas another could be doing good in both .But what
matters the most is that the parents don’t reject the child emphasizing his
in-capabilities.

Cottage, initiating the program ,extended a floral welcome to all the guests
and dignitaries present and later thanked Sister Sapna for her wonderful talk
and her special visit to Chandigarh. Sister Sarika , addressing the audience
said that parents should fulfill rather than shirk from their
responsibilities. Several questions from the audiences were also answered in
the lecture.
