Una 19th September:- As many as 300 people
attended a Max Super Specialty Hospital, Mohali free multispecialty health
camp at Thana Kalan, about 20 km from here today. The camp was organized
with an association of Shiv Ram Jan Kalayan Samiti, Bangana.
A team of doctors
including Dr Shyam Verma from Orthopedics, Dr Sujeet Singh Chauhan from
Cardiology and Dr
Ashok Gupta from Internal Medicine provided free consultations
and addressed the healthcare needs of people in the camp . Free tests including
bp, blood
sugar, ECG and bone mass densitometry were also offered during camp.
Speaking on the occasion, Sandeep Dogra, Sr. VP & Zonal Head,
Max Hospitals Punjab said that making specialized healthcare services
accessible to all sections of society is our goal. Under this process we have
arranged this camp to address the health concerns of Una people who are often
neglected due
to distance from a good healthcare facility.
