By Tricitynews Reporter
Chandigarh 17th February:- Zee Rishtey Awards 2016 that was held in Mumbai on 5th February will be telecast on Sunday, 19th Feb at 7 PM  on Zee TV.  The memorable evening had the entire constellation of Zee TV’s most popular stars descend on a single platform and set the stage ablaze with their breath-taking performances! The awards ceremony was hosted by heartthrob Ritwik Dhanjani and stand-up comedian Bharti Singh making this event a complete entertainment package.
Comedy King Krushna along with Mubeen impersonated the aam aadmi and the stereotypical Gujju, leaving the audience in splits. To give the crowd a flavor of what their most sought-after celebrities are like in real life, the duo gave away a special set of tongue-in-cheek awards based on how Zee TV’s favourite celebrities behave off-screen. The line-up saw some hilarious awards like ‘Bhukkad award’, ‘Gym Award’, ‘Coolest Dadi Award’, ‘Kumbkaran Award’ and ‘Hot Dadi Award’ bagged by the foodie Mahi, health freaks Krsytle D’souza and Karan Vohra, the popular dadi from Kumkum Bhagaya, Ravi Dubey and ‘PD’ from Zindagi Ki Mehek respectively.
The last award of this series was the ‘Serial Kisser Award’ and this was given to pout Queen Samiksha Jaiswal who plays Mehek. Krushna pulled her leg, requesting Samiksha to give him a kiss. Visibly offended by this, veteran actresses Rakshanda and Kishwer Merchantt strongly voiced their protest in front of the entire crowd. Kishwer told Krushna that she respected him as an artiste but this was an inappropriate way to talk to a girl. She was surprised that Samiksha was also entertaining him after he had well crossed his limits. Rakshanda agreed with Kishwer and told Krushna off for publicly Samiksha and went up on stage to admonish Krushna this unacceptable behavior. This offended both Krushna and his partner in crime Mubeen who were all set to give up hosting and leave the stage when Kishwer and Rakshanda burst out laughing. The queens of prank Kishwer and Rakshanda had pulled a number on Comedy King Krushna, giving him a taste of his own medicine. The audience who were taken by surprise applauded and roared in laughter even as Mubeen and Krushna recovered from their embarrassment.
For these hilarious moments, dazzling performances and moments of recognition to your favorite Zee TV stars, tune into Zee Rishtey Awards 2016 on Sunday, 19th February at 7:00 PM, only on Zee TV.
