Sant Nirankari Charitable Foundation organises 20th Blood Donation Camp

Chandigarh 21st May:- With the blessings of Nirankari Satguru Mata Savinder Hardev Ji Maharaj, Sant Nirankari Charitable Foundation organized the 20th blood donation camp at Sant Nirankari Satsang Bhawan, Sector 9 Panchkula.
Legislator, Gyan Chand Gupta while inaugurating the camp, said that blood donation is as much helpful for the self as it is for others and the society. This increases unity and brotherhood in the people of the country. He further stated that under the benign guidance of Satguru Mata Savinder Hardev Ji Maharaj, the Nirankari Mission is contributing to the world, by organizing blood donation camps, and words fall short in the praises of Her Holiness. Gian Chand Gupta also applauded other social welfare tasks of the Mission, like plantation and cleanliness drives, and eye donation camps. He also requested Panchkula Sanyojak, Kuldeep Singh and Sanchalak Karnail Singh Bhullar, to contribute with selfless service, to the upcoming Earth Day, on June 5, which is slated to be celebrated in Haryana, with a cleanliness drive. This will be an effort to clean the Mother Earth, and take forward Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s vision of a Clean Bharat.
Also present on this occasion, to motivate the donors, from Chandigarh Zone were, Dr. B.S. Cheema, Zonal Incharge, and Dr. (Smt.) J.K Cheema, Additional Zonal Incharge.
Dr. J.K. Cheema said that in the 30 years of its inception, since 1986 till 2016, the number of Blood Donation Camps, organized by the Mission are 5046, where 8, 69, 161 devotees have donated blood. Dr. J.K Cheema stated that this is the third Blood Donation camp organized in this year, and 18 Blood Donation Camps are slated to be organized in the Chandigarh Zone, in this year.
Sanyojak, Kuldeep Singh, Khetriya Sanchalak S.L Bassi, Social Worker Rajendra Singh Bhullar, Legislator Gyan Chand Gupta  along with Dr. B.S Cheema and Dr. (Smt.) J.K Cheema thanked the 15 member team of doctors and paramedics under Dr. Suchet Sahdev from the Blood Transfusion Department of P.G.I.M.E.R, Chandigarh, for assisting with the successful culmination of the camp. “Baba Hardev Singh Ji’s ideology that ‘blood should flow in veins, not in drains’, is the prime force behind the Blood Donation Camps.
Karnail Singh Bhullar, Sanchalak, Local Branch, said that Mission charitably runs, 4 hospitals in Delhi, Kolkata, Chennai and Agra, and 150 dispensaries, 9 pathological labs, 7 dental care clinics and 6 eye care centers, in the country.
