24th July:- For promotion of art & culture in the city beautiful, and to
engage the visitors, the Rock Garden Society has begun a 1st of its kind
initiative. Under this any visitor be it children, adults or groups can
come forward and perform any dance form in front of the gathered audience. The
best selected participants would be felicitated with a Souvenir of the Chandigarh
Administration as a token of appreciation.
Sunday was the 1st day of
this unique initiative which saw active participation from visitors who
gathered in huge numbers and performed different dance forms. The best
participants were later felicitated by Kuldip Sharma, co-ordinator for Rock
Garden Society.
These programmes are held
in the Phase-3 of Rock Garden, every Saturday & Sunday from 4:30
pm to 6:30 pm.
