September:- University Institute of Legal Studies(UILS),
Panjab University(PU), in collaboration with Mediation and Conciliation
Committee of the Punjab & Haryana High Court organized a one day Mediation
Awareness Program.
Trained and experienced mediators who conducted
this program were Ms. Reeta Kohli, Sr. Advocate Ms. Puneeta Sethi , Dhiraj
Chawla & Mr. Sachin Jain. Various aspects of mediation were discussed and a
practical insight into the process was displayed through a role play. Hon’ble
Additional District and Session Judge and Director of Mediation and
Conciliation Committee, Punjab and Haryana High Court, B.B.S. Teji also marked
his presence and enlightened the students about the importance of the mediation
over adversarial process of dispute resolution.
