Chandigarh 03rd October:- CRB Public School at Sector 7-B, Chandigarh celebrated Gandhi Jayanti with great enthusiasm and fervour. The programme included paying of floral tribute to Mahatma Gandhi. A choir rendering of favourite Bhajans of Mahatma Gandhi were sung and students of class II showcased the teachings of Gandhiji reflecting themselves as ‘Never see anything wrong’, ‘Never speak anything bad’ and ‘Never hear anything wrong’. An ‘Essay writing competition’ and ‘Art Exhibition’ was organised.
In
an address by the Principal, Mrs. Sangeeta Mittal appreciated the efforts of
the students who participated in the ‘Swacch Bharat Abhiyan’ launched by the
school. The students also took a pledge to follow the principles of
non-violence and truth as advocated by Rashtarpita Mahatma Gandhi.
