Chitkara University Gets Farsighted with Infarsight for Technology Prowess

By Tricitynews
Rajpura 29th November:- India has entered into a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Infarsight, LLC (headquartered in Princeton, NJ, USA) to introduce a transformative partnership model to the Indian education system.
The University and Infarsight are pioneering a new “University Delivery Model” that aims to establish a R&D and software engineering center, (Infarsight- Center of Innovation) in the University campus.  This model is designed to leverage the University’s intellectual capital of faculty and students, to fulfil the industry needs of specialized talent graduating from its various education programs. .
Today, many travel and retail customers outsource work to large ITES providers like TCS, Cognizant, Wipro, and others, who house these projects in their campuses, and then look at universities to source top engineering talent.  The University Delivery Model is designed to help customers directly engage with University students and faculty members, while an experienced delivery leadership team of Infarsight, assures industry quality delivery to the customers. Sanjeev Sethi, the President of Infarsight, notes that this model is a win-win for the Customers, University and its student community. Customers contribute to the course curriculum, through industry specific modules, and live projects, which help students, specialize and gain real life experience. Customers thus drastically reduce training time required, while students build project-relevant skill sets and resumes.
Dr. Archana Mantri, the Pro Vice Chancellor, Chitkara University outlined that this collaboration is set to bring a sea change to engineering education through  Infarsight’s Centre of Innovation. Along with seeding industry projects, through the ‘University Delivery Model’ the Centre of Innovation, works closely with us on incubating meritorious ideas and concepts presented by students to help them take these ideas to its customer and market in general. Chitkara University has already built a formidable reputation in creating an innovation eco-system within the University by weaving a fabric of engineering exploration courses, STEAM school, NOVATE annual Hackathon, Start-up days, and establishing Incubation Centres at Rajpura and Baddi.
The Infarsight and Chitkara partnership will go a long way in supporting the “Make in India” movement in India.
