IDP Education organizes Australian Education Fair in Chandigarh

Chandigarh 24th August:- IDP Education India, the leading student placement service provider organized the Australian education fair in Chandigarh today at Taj Chandigarh for students aspiring to pursue higher education in Australia. The fair spread across 14 cities brought together prominent universities and educational institutes from Australia under one roof. Over 450 Students participated in the IDP Australian Education Fair.
Piyush Kumar, Country Director, India – IDP Education said that IDP seeks to provide a platform to aspiring students to come and have a face-to-face interaction with the university representatives and get answers to all their queries related to studying in Australia. In addition to meeting the institutions, the qualified students can also get application fee waivers & scholarships. The scholarships can range from a fee bursary to a 50% scholarship of tuition fee for select students. Students are advised to bring along their educational certificates in original along with photocopies. One can also visit the IDP office to pre-register for priority processing and detailed counseling with trained & experienced Australia counselors.

Priyal Gor’s Iccha is Contemporary ‘Pyaari ‘ Naagin

Chandigarh 24th August:- Priyal Gor who will be seen playing a naagin in SAB TVs upcoming show Iccha Pyaari Naagin will be sporting a very different look for this show. The young actress will be seen as a modern shape shifting snake that has come down on Earth to change the perception of of Icchadhari naags and naagins. Iccha (Priyal Gor) will leave Naagistan and come to Earth on a mission as her people think that we humans have created a bad image of snakes.
Iccha’s character will be seen wearing an elaborate costume complete with accessories and hear gear. She will be seen sporting a golden lehenga, choli and a skirt with a side slit. The costume is also accompanied with heavy accessories in the form of bangles in the shape of snakes on both her hands. Priyal will also be wearing a choker which will be in the shape of a snake along with a ‘maang tikka’ in the shape of a Cobra sitting in all its glory on her head.
Priyal Gor who will be seen as Iccha in SAB TVs Iccha Pyaari Naagin said that iccha is a pyaari naagin and very unlike the typical naagins. So her look on the show is also very simple and sweet.  She is wearing very unique and different attire, because it has to look convincing. So she will be seen in a light colored lehenga and lots of matching accessories to go with it. She hope that the audiences will love her new look on the show as it is very different.



ब्लूमिंग डेल स्कूल ने उत्साह और हर्षोउल्लास के साथ मनाई कृष्ण जन्माष्टमी

Chandigarh 24th August:- ब्लूमिंग डेल पब्लिक स्कूल हरमिलाप नगर, बलटाना में श्रीकृष्ण जन्माष्टमी का पर्व बड़े उत्साह और हर्षोउल्लास के साथ मनाया गया नन्हे नन्हे बच्चे कृष्ण राधिका गोपियों के परिधानों में मन को मुग्ध कर रहे थे ऐसा लगता था कि हम लोग सचमुच वृंदावन धाम पहुंच गए हैं, जहां श्री कृष्ण ने गोपियों के संग रास लीला कर रहे हो। अध्यापकों और छात्रों के सहयोग से कई प्रकार के रंगारंग कार्यक्रम का आयोजन किया गया स्कूल के मुख्य अध्यापिका रीना रावत ने सभी बच्चों को इस दिन की बधाई दी।
स्कूल डायरेक्टर विनोद रावत ने श्रीकृष्ण जी की एक छोटी सी घटना सुना कर उनके बारे में बच्चों को बताया झूले में विराजमान नन्हे गोपाल को सबने झूला झुलाया श्रीकृष्ण के नटखट स्वभाव संबंधी कई झांकियां दिखाई गई एक गाना " बड़ा नटखट है कृष्ण कंहैया, क्या करें यशोदा मैया" पर सभी ने इतना नृत्य किया के अध्यापकों का मन भी झूम पड़ा उनके पावं भीथिरकने लगे


Grace Acting Academy Starts Operations from City

Chandigarh 24th August:- After having imparted professional acting training to hundreds of aspiring actors, Mumbai based Grace Acting Academy (GAA) today announced opening of its Chandigarh branch here today in collaboration with iSkillz Yoga and Dance Academy. The formal launch was done by popular TV actor Jaya Bhattacharya here today.
Noted Director, Suraj Rao, who is also the GAA Promoter was also present on the occasion. Rao who has over 20 year experience in media and entertainment, has directed television serials with almost almost all the production houses with the likes of Balaji telefilms, UTV etc. The serial ‘Kyunki Sas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi’ had also got him the best director award in 2002.
The academy will be offering 4-month acting course, 1 month crash course and weekend and part time course. The courses would broadly focus on training in acting (camera and theatre), monologues, diction and speech, voice culture and modulation, concentration, expression and memory exercises, freedom on camera, audition technique, costumes, production, direction, dubbing, film screening etc.
Jaya Bhattacharya, while launching the academy said that it was very important for a city like Chandigarh to have a professional acting academy which is the hub of Punjabi movie industry and has a lot of talent as well. She said that she is proud to be associated with the academy which will bring in a lot of big names to the city.
Academy Founder, Rajneesh Jaiswal, said that what you will learn at GAA is Acting Voice Diction Technique and Scene Study Acting & Freedom on Camera Audition Technique, Movement Story Telling, Costume Production Highlights, Direction Highlights, Personality Development. GAA faculty regularly appear on stage and screen, working as part of major international productions, as well as initiating successful independent projects. Our academy focuses on teaching people how to merge their own uniqueness into the demands of film and television industry. The actor learns about the technicalities of working in cinema, TV and theatre.
Addressing the media persons here today, Suraj Rao informed the acting academy which has been set up at Mansa Devi Complex, Panchkula, would have prominent names from the film and television industry. These would include Ashwini Chaudhary, National Award winning Director, actors Shruti Ulfat, Pallavi Rao and Jaya Bhattacharya, to name a few. Ajay Bali, Director, iSkillz, Yoga and Dance Academy.
The academy students have in the past got outstanding opportunities in the industry. A student Deepali got a chance to feature in Nycil Ad, Kabeer worked in a Tamil film Rekka and Telugu film Supreme, while Jassi Ghuman is doing a Pooja Bhatt film, ‘Cabaret’.
