Vismaad Unveils Poster & Teaser of 3D Animation Film “Bhai Taru Singh”

Chandigarh 21st April:- VISMAAD today released Poster and first Teaser of it’s soon to be released 3D Animation Film. Vismaad has lead the industry in production of Animation Film ever since it produced first ever full length Indian Animation Film “Sahibzadey: A Saga of Valor & Sacrifice” in 2005. The poster and teaser were today released at Chandigarh Press club in presence leading Print & Electronic media. Select members of the team that worked on this animation was also present on this occasion 
Sukhwinder Singh, CEO Vismaad who is also the Writer and Director of the movie said THAT the mission at Vismaad is to present our rich history through Animation and other new age digital mediums which excite all age groups. Ever since we released out first animation film in 2005 people have reached out to us to express their happiness  on how Vismaad movies have made profound impact not only on their children but they too have learnt so many hitherto unknown facts of Sikh History.
The story of the movie: Bhai Taru Singh Ji lived during the most trying period for Sikhs. Under the cruel Mughal regime which was bent upon annihilating Sikh nation, Sikhs had price on their heads and were hunted like game animals by all alike. Still Bhai Taru Singh Ji did not only survive for 24 years but even earned respect and love of Hindus and Muslims of all the neighboring villages. His village was less than 40 miles away from Lahore still Bhai Sahib was spared by even the most hardened informers of his area.
Bhai Sahib was martyred because being a true Khalsa Bhai Sahib protected a poor muslim girl from the clutches of the evil mughal official of his area.
Animation Production: Major part of the movie is realistic render 3D CGI (computer graphics imagery). Special attention has gone into creating character model of Bhai Taru Singh ji in the movie with near to life like features including realistic animated hair. As a result the character of Bhai Taru Singh ji livens up on the screen like a real person. To top realistic render minutest details are attempted in exhibiting the emotions and mannerisms of leading characters.
First time in Punjabi Cinema: Leading Sufi singer and heartthrob of millions of Punjabis Kanwar Grewal has a special appearance in the movie. Kanwar Grewal essays the role of a Jogi who sings emotions of the bleeding hearts of Poohla residents after Bhai Taru Singh ji is arrested and taken away to Lahore. Shot on chroma the song sequence is then rendered with special effects to blend Kanwar Grewal walking the virtually village lanes, fields and ponds with 3D rendered animated characters of villagers in the backdrop.
Production & Music: Major part of the movie is created at Vismaad Animation Studio in Mohali. Some 3D sequences requiring special skills and high end hardware/ software are developed at Chennai under direct supervision of Vismaad creative team.
Background Score & Music is by Atul Sharma and Tiger Style (UK)
Vismaad is the leading Animation Studio which is highly respected among Sikhs, both in India and Diaspora, for amazing work done for immaculate propagation of Sikh History. ROTTO organizes First Ever CME cum Workshop on Organ Donation and Transplantation

Chandigarh 21st April:- The first ever CME cum Workshop on Organ Donation and Transplantation organized by ROTTO (Regional Organ & Tissue Transplant Organisation) and Department of Hospital Administration that saw participation of over 200 delegates from hospitals across the northern region including far flung states of J&K, Rajasthan and Uttar Pradesh concluded today at the Post Graduate Institute of Medical Education and Research (PGIMER), Chandigarh.
Appropriately acronymed as LEAD (Living Even After Death) 2017, the event was organized under the aegis of the National Organ Transplant Programme with an intent to acquaint the delegates about the tireless and round the clock institutional back up mechanism, process and procedures that are undertaken to translate that noble and magnanimous wish of the donor family to save someone’s life otherwise battling for survival into a reality so as to enhance engagement of the stakeholders to increase the deceased donation rate and help overcome organ shortage.
Inaugurating the CME cum Workshop as Chief Guest, Anurag Aggrawal, Home cum Health Secretary UT Chandigarh stated that the cause calls for an integrated, synergized and sustained effort of the government, healthcare professionals, community and non-government organizations to create a culture of voluntary deceased organ donation. Considering it a very sensitive subject, Shri Aggarwal complimented ROTTO PGIMER for their initiatives for ‘’putting the right thought in the right mind” and assured them of his full support in giving a boost to the deceased donation programme. The Chief Guest also launched an e-newsletter of ROTTO during the inauguration.
Speaking at the Valedictory function as Chief Guest, Prof. Jagat Ram, Director, PGIMER emphasized that the solution to organ shortage and achievement of self-sufficiency in organ donation for all states in India is possible only through systematic strengthening of the deceased donor programme. Prof. Jagat Ram added that the three tier concept of setting up of national, regional and state units under National Organ Transplant Programme is an excellent step towards bridging the gap between need and availability.
The Director also felicitated eminent personalities, members of civil society and student volunteers for their immense contribution towards the cause. These luminaries include Padma Shri Prof. Yogesh Chawla, former director & Head, Deptt. of Hepatology, PGIMER;  Padma Shri Prof. Mukut Minz Director, Fortis Mohali, Sh. OP Singh, IPS,ADGP/HR & Litigation, Dr. Suchet Sachdev, Asst Prof, Department of Transfusion medicine, Ms. Madhu Marwaha  Prof. of English, MCM DAV College Chandigarh, Ms. Nisha Sachdev, Headmistress Govt. High school Sector 25, Mr. Rakesh Sangar, President of Shiv Kanwar Mahasang CharitableTrust, Mr. Harsimrat Singh Brar, Suprintendent, Central Excise and Service Tax, Ms, Nirmal Kaur, Student, Govt. Endorsing the need for public awareness and training of the intensive care physicians across the states Prof. Subhash Varma, Dean, PGIMER as Guest of Honour on the occasion, stated that as a country we have really lagged behind in putting in the confidence that the organs can be donated. Highlighting the need for SOPs to instill that confidence and for continuous and periodical sensitization on this altruistic cause of organ donation must be enhanced predominantly.
Dr. Vimal Bhandari, Director NOTTO apprised the delegates about the ‘National Organ & Tissue Transplant Programme’ which is going be streamlined across all the states. He stated that the national transplant registry would be set up at the centre where the database would be maintained. He stressed on the proactive engagement on the part of the states to make the initiative successful.
Speaking as Organizing Chairman of the event, Prof. AK Gupta, MS cum HOD of Dept. of Hospital Admn. PGIMER shared with the delegates that PGIMER is playing a lead role in taking forward this national mandate and as a single institution per billion population, PGIMER is having the highest number of cadaver organ donations nationally.  
Detailing on the journey of ROTTO and linkages between ROTTO and SOTTOs, Dr. Vipin Koushal, Nodal Officer, ROTTO PGIMER shared that under this programme, PGIMER is coordinating with hospitals across U.T. Chandigarh and the seven Northern States including Punjab, Haryana, Himachal Pradesh, Jammu and Kashmir, Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh and Uttarakhand. Initially, the focus is be to educate and inform maximum number of hospitals in the region about the importance of organ transplant programme and encourage them to register with NOTTO and ROTTO and later make an online database of all the registered hospitals.
The topics discussed  in the programme ranged from the With an intent to enhance engagement and build synergies, the six scientific sessions in CME cum Workshop had deliberations on Role of NOTP and NOTTO, ROTTO PGIMER : The Journey so far; THOTA: Understanding Legal Perspective in Organ Transplantation; Role of Transplant Coordinators; Issues & Challenges in Organ Donation/Transplantation;  Brain Death Certification : Concept & Challenges; Maintaining the Potential Donor : A Critical Task; Recipient Selection & Cross Matching : Preparing for the Best Match and Transplant Surgery : Making it Happen pioneer work
Specific stress was laid on practical training by conducting counseling, public education programmes, and documentation related to organ donation and transplantation.
The experts who deliberated and came out with recommendations for the expansion of deceased donation included Prof. G.D. Puri, Head Dept. of Anaesthesia and Intensive Care, , Prof. S.K. Gupta, Head Dept. of Neurosurgery, Prof. D. Behera, Head Dept. of Pulmonary Medicine, Prof. K.L. Gupta, Head Dept. of Nephrology, Prof. Ranjana W. Minz, Head Dept. of Immunopathology, Prof. Sadhna Sharma, Head Dept. of Biochemistry, Prof. Ashish Sharma, Head Dept. of Renal Transplant Surgery, Prof. T. Shyam K. Singh, Head Dept. of CTVS, Prof. Dalbir Singh, Head Dept. of Forensic Medicine, Prof. Rajesh Chhabra, Dept. of Neurosurgery and Prof. Arunanshu Behera, Dept. of General Surgery from PGIMER.
The Panel Discussions session saw a very high level of interaction from the participants on various issues and challenges pertaining to organ donation. The workshop concluded with the delegates finding it an extremely enriching experience.

Tough Times Ahead for Ichha in Ichhapyaari Naagin

Chandigarh 21st April:- The problems at Pehelwan house of Sony SAB’s Ichhapyaari Naagin is getting worse every day with the entry of Sursuri, a Naagin who wants to take revenge from Ichha. Sursuri (Jasvinder Kaur) who is always conspiring against Ichha now tries to create a rift between the family members which can directly affect her.
Sursuri now disguised as Chanchal (Sheila Sharma) seeks Dadi’s permission for a competition between all the daughter-in-law’s.  Dadi refuses for any competition between family members. Chanchal convinces Dadi saying that the competition between her and the daughter-in-law’s, Mamta (Pooja Khatri) and Ichha (Priyal Gor) will help them to bond better and have a healthy relationship. Dadi agrees to have a healthy competition and gives different tasks to each daughter-in-law. Ichha has been told to cook food for everyone. When Ichha is ready with her vegetable dish, Sursuri who is disguised as Chanchal adds extra salt in her dish giving a conclusion to her evil plan.
Meanwhile, the male members of Pratap family, Prabal (Praveen Sirohi), Sabal (Rakshit Pratap) and Khadak (Badrul Islam) conspires against Ichha to defeat her in the competition. They decide to go to the kitchen when Ichha is not around and mix chilli powder in her dish.
Commenting on the track, Priyal Gor who plays Ichha said that Sursuri is creating trouble in Ichha’s life since the day she got married. Ichha is unaware that sursuri is behind all the problem post her marriage. The competition is one way to win everyone’s confidence in her. But with everyone conspiring against her how she will manage to win this competition is the real challenge for her.

World Television Premiere of Dear Zindagi on 23rd April at Zee Cinema

Exhibiting the distinctive pairing of Shah Rukh Khan and Alia Bhatt, Dear Zindagi bears a relevant and encouraging message to embrace life’s highs and lows.
Directed by English Vinglish fame Gauri Shinde, Dear Zindagi is a refreshing take on life and relationships that starkly stays away from formula-ridden Bollywood. The film also offers soulful renditions from Amit Trivedi along with a credible ensemble cast.
Talking about his character Dr. Jehangir Khan, actor Shah Rukh Khan said that he just thought he should be the person having similar issues most of his patients have. Because he thinks, every person, every human being at some point in their lives has similar issues of acceptance, love, relationships, inferiority or superiority complexes. He didn’t want Jehangir to be preachy who is giving of knowledge because he is educated in it. He just narrates a life incident and says this is it, now you take your call, make your choice.
Dear Zindagi revolves around Kaira (Alia Bhatt), a talented cinematographer who is a spirited, young woman awaiting her life’s biggest break. But deep inside the façade, lies a soul despised and dejected, grappling with wrong men in her life. Unsettled and shackled, she reaches out to Dr. Jehangir Khan (Shah Rukh Khan), a psychiatrist in Goa. It’s on his couch, she feels confident about voicing her fears for the first time.

Stoppage of corporatization / privatization of the department, Filling up the vacant post of promotion and direct quota posts, offer of appointment to the next kin of deceased employees by scrapping 5% ceiling on Punjab pattern, Removal of pay anomalies of the employees, Amendments in recruitment rules, under taking the service of outsource basis engaged  LDC, ALM & LM directly with the department, extension of contract period of drivers,  Providing T & P and safety devices to the workmen besides cancellation of all pick & choose transfer of peons, JE’s and other categories till the framing of transparent & fair transfer policy including for the post of SE Electricity.
Gopal Datt Joshi General Secretary, Satpal President, Vijay Singh Senior Vice President, Raj Pal, Pardee Sharma, Kashmir Singh, Ram Gopal, Surinder Singh, Sunil Kumar and other leaders of the union while addressing the rallies strongly condemned the negative attitude of the authority towards genuine demands. The speakers blamed that due to the negative attitude of the concern the position of the department become bad to worst and further blamed that the department engaged some of the employees  i.e. LDC, ALM  & LM on outsources basis last year against the sanctioned posts in violation of Chandigarh Administration instructions and said that by doing so the authorities of the department are violating the principal of apex code as well as general instructions of Chandigarh Administration. Further the services of pick drivers have not been extended who are working for last 15-20 years as a result the pickup are not been run and complaints of the consumers are not been resolve in a stipulated period for which the authorities are fully responsible for non redressal of consumers complaints. The leaders appeal the employees to participate in 25th April, 2017 dharna in massive way in which next programme of agitation will also be announced.



Sant Nirankari Charitable Foundation Will organize Blood Donation Camp on April 24

Chandigarh 21st April:- The Sant Nirankari Charitable Foundation will organize a blood donation camp at Sant Nirankari Satsang Bhawan, Sector 30-A, Chandigarh in a total of 76 blood donation camps to be organized across the country on Monday, April 24, 2017 as part of celebrations of Manav Ekta Divas (Human Unity Day) by Sant Nirankari Mission, to commemorate the supreme sacrifice of Baba Gurbachan Singh Ji, who laid down his life on this day in 1980. The Mission will also pay tributes to hundreds of devotees who sacrificed their lives for love, truth, peace and unity.
The series of the blood donation camps will be inaugurated by Nirankari Satguru Mata Savinder Hardev Ji Maharaj, in Delhi. Besides Delhi, 11 blood donation camps will be organized each, in Uttar Pradesh and Maharashtra; 6 in Rajasthan; 5 each in Punjab, Haryana and Madhya Pradesh; 4 each in Himachal Pradesh, Gujarat and Bihar; 3 each in Uttarakhand, West Bengal and Jharkhand; 2 in Jammu and Kashmir; and 1 each in Chandigarh, Chhattisgarh, Goa, Assam, Odisha, Karnataka, Kerala, Tamil Nadu and Andhra Pradesh. Last year in Chandigarh alone devotees of the Sant Nirankari Mission donated 546 units, and in Delhi 1727 units blood was donated, on this day.
Starting from April 24, blood donation camps are organized by the Sant Nirankari Charitable Foundation in various parts of the country, throughout the year. The schedule from May 1 onwards is, however, decided by the Zonal Incharges and the respective branches of the Mission. Last year, the Foundation organized a total of 479 blood donation camps, where a total of 80,560 units of blood was donated.

Chandigarh 21st April:- टचस्टोन एजुकेशन्सल्स  ने ताज होटल चंडीगढ़ में 'कैनेडियन एजुकेशन फेयर- 2017' का आयोजन किया। मेले में कनाडा के काफी संख्या में एसपीपी और  गैर एसपीपी  कॉलेजों और विश्वविद्यालयों ने भाग लिया। मेले में कनाडा में शैक्षिक  उपलब्ध अवसरों की जानकारी  के बारे में और सलाह के साथ विदेश में अध्ययन करने के इच्छुक छात्रों को सूचना प्रदान की गई। छात्रों और भाग लेने वाले शिक्षण संस्थानों के अधिकृत प्रतिनिधियों के बीच सीधा संपर्क रहा। वहां के  उपयुक्त कॉलेजों और विश्वविद्यालयों के उपलब्ध विभिन्न पाठ्यक्रमोंपात्रता और मानदंड के बारे में छात्रों को जानकारी दी गई। छात्रों में तकनीकी पाठ्यक्रमों के प्रति गहरी रुचि देखने को मिली।  कनाडा में अध्ययन की व्यवहार्यता छात्रवृत्ति और इंटर्नशिप के बारे में जानकारी मुहैया करवाई गई। कनाडा के उन  कॉलेजों और विश्वविद्यालयों जो भाग नहीं ले रहे थेके लिए भी आवेदन   स्वीकार किये गए।
छात्रों को मेले में उद्योग विशेषज्ञ सलाहकारों ने पूरी  वीजा प्रक्रिया की जानकारी दी। कैनेडियन डेलीगेट्स ने फेयर में आये स्टूडेंट्स का अकेडमिक मूल्यांकन करते हुए उनकी काउंसलिंग की।  टचस्टोन एजुकेशन्सल्स के प्रबंध निदेशक आशुतोष आनंद ने  मार्गदर्शन और वीजा संबंधी मामलों पर छात्र वीजा उम्मीदवारों को सलाह प्रदान की। कनाडा के शिक्षा मेले - 2017 में  छात्रों ने आवेदन शुल्क छूट की पेशकश का लाभ भी उठाया। काफी  संख्या में स्टूडेंट्स की अनुकूल प्रतिक्रिया मिली।
