Chandigarh 19th June:- “EMERALDS carved with Thoughts”–“कुछ पन्ने विचारों से तराशे हुए”-A Poetic Saga by Ashish Sharma was launched on wednesday by Savita Bhatti & Ashish Sharma. The event was graced by Dr.Harjit Singh, a noted punjabi poet, Dr.Gurwinder Aman - a noted punjabi short story writer, Harish Agarwal, Harjinder Kaur Noted Punjabi poet and Savita Bhatti read excerpts from it.
Poetic Saga is a unique collection of Hindi Poems with English translations for everyone to read & enjoy. Poetic saga which is a perfect blend of profound and common events of everyday life will be relevant to each and every reader irrespective of their age and location. They are inspired by day-to-day events and occurrences in the world and from author’s life. The Poetic Saga expresses poet’s thoughts about social evils and issues, environment, relationships, happiness and hope, all in the form of poetry. The book has some poems written in the honour of some great personalities like Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Former Prime Minister Late Atal Bihari Vajpayee, The King of Meaningful Comedy Late Sh. Jaspal Bhatti, The Great Philanthropist & Business Personality Late Hayel Saeed Anam (HSA) & Poet’s parents Prof. Harinder Sharma & Uttar Sharma. The poetic saga also has a poem to commemorate 70 years of friendship of the two great nations – India & Indonesia.  English translation has been done by Yogita Sharma.

Creative Art Workshop Concludes at Snehalaya

Chandigarh 19th June:- Chandigarh Commission for Protection of Child Rights (CCPCR) in collaboration with Chandigarh Lalit Kala Academy, Chandigarh organized Clay Modelling workshop on the Concluding day of Art & Design Workshop for the children of Snehalaya, Maloya, Chandigarh.
On the concluding ceremony, Bheem Malhotra, President, Chandigarh Lalit Kala Academy, Chandigarh was the chief guest. Senior Artist of Tricity, Gurmeet Goldie and Kamal was also present. 
Sanjeet Kumar and Ms. Jyoti, Young Sculptors of Tricity were the resource persons for the event. They gave a demonstration on clay modeling to the children and Children created beautiful figures, models, landscapes and objects.
While appreciating the works Bheem Malhotra, President, Chandigarh Lalit Kala Academy, Chandigarh said he has never seen such beautiful creation at the first-time attempt. Looking at the talent of the children, he offered them to introduce and give opportunity at major workshops so that they get exposure and can excel in their skills. Thirty (30) Children of Snehalaya participated in the workshop.
Children also entertained the artist team with their singing and drama skills.

Chandigarh 19th June:- Lal Krishan Advani, Former Deputy Prime Minister of India will be on visit to Shimla from 22nd to 28th June 2019. He will be staying in new built Hotel ITC Fortune select cedar trail in Mashobara 10 kms from Shimla Mall Road.
L K Advani will reach Shimla by the State Government Helicopter from Delhi on 22nd June. S Jairam Thakur CM of HP and his cabinet members will welcome Lal Krishan Advani. He will first visit to Himachal Pradesh Raj Bhawan in Shimla and halt there for some time and thereafter he will further proceed to Mashobara on 22nd June 2019. He is coming to Shimla after long gap. He will be accompanied by his daughter and other family members.

Travel Demand for Monsoon to Surge by 20%, Family Travellers Drive the Growth: Karan Anand

Chandigarh 19th June:- Contrary to a general perception that trekkers and adventure seekers mainly drive monsoon travel, this year family travellers are taking a lead being over 70% of the travel inquiries generated from family segment. Going by the number of inquiries, we expect the overall travel demand for the season to surge by 20% as compared to the last year.
Family travellers are mainly looking for relaxed beach vacations, staycations at nearby resorts, explore hillside for lush greenery and waterfalls and relish delicious hot cuisines.
Travellers from Mumbai and Pune are opting for short trips within Maharashtra and neighbouring states such as Goa and Gujarat.  Staycations in Lonavala, Silvassa, Lavasa, Saputara, Mahabaleshwar, Daman and Nasik are picking up. Sultry beaches and appetising seafood in Goa and Konkan are back on the radar of west India travellers with the onset of monsoon.
Monsoon travellers from Delhi and Chandigarh are mainly finding solace in hill stations such as Mussoorie and Nainital. Some of them are taking road trips to Rajasthan to explore places like Jaisalmer, jaipur, Bikaner, Jodhpur and Udaipur. However, adventure trails from Delhi to Ladakh are the key highlight of the season.
Travellers from east India mainly prefer staycations in Darjeeling in premium properties like Mayfair and Ramada. Some are even heading to Assam and Meghalaya to experience the extreme rains, nature and eco-friendly atmosphere.

Who Will Rule Vijayanagar: A Deciding Battle Between Krishnadevaraya and Panchavrisha

Chandigarh 19th June:- The fate of Vijayanagar on Sony SAB’s Tenali Rama hangs in the balance. The show which recently completed 500 episodes, has successfully hooked its viewers with a gripping storyline is about to witness some exciting turn of events. Rama’s (Krishna Bharadwaj) wit and the ability to solve the trickiest problem will now be challenged to try and save King Krishnadevaraya (Manav Gohil) and his kingdom.
Following the arrival of a suspicious child, Somu (Hridyansh Shekhawat), into Vijayanagar, the kingdom is under the cruel curse of Krodh (anger). In his effort to consistently instigate the king to lose his cool, Somu finally succeeds in provoking the King to accept the challenge to a dual with a courageous warrior, Panchavrisha. With the entry of this majestic Yoddha challenging the King, Vijayanagar’s future is now in jeopardy- if Krishnadevaraya loses the battle, the Kingdom will then belong to Panchavrisha! While the King is already dealing with his anger issues on one front, on another front, he has once again given in to Krodh and sentenced Tathacharya (Pankaj Berry) to be hanged by death.
Krishna Bharadwaj, essaying the role of Tenali Rama said that Krishnadevaraya’s reputation as a King and Vijayanagar’s future is at stake. Tenali is trying to devise a plan to overcome these grave hurdles brought by Krodh. It is a fascinating story that really looks at how we sometimes let anger dictate our actions and what grave consequences it can have. We really enjoyed shooting for these episodes. Our viewers will really enjoy the upcoming episodes and he look forward to their response.
Manav Gohil, essaying the role of Krishnadevaraya said that one of the 6 sins, that is, Krodh (anger) has entered the show. He is really enjoying the concept and the storyline of the show as it sends a positive message and makes people aware of the effect of these sins in our lives. An exciting twist in the story where Krishnadevaraya’s reputation as a King is on the line. He is sure our viewers will really enjoy the upcoming episodes.
Hridyansh Shekhawat, playing the role of Somu aka Krodh said that he is really excited to be a part of this extremely popular show, Tenali Rama. Although he enters as one of one of the sins, Krodh (anger), it is a great experience for him as the role is a very different one for him and the entire cast is very supportive. While everyone treats him with so much love, he is learning a lot from them while shooting on the sets.
