Women at Large Still Deprived of Education : Dr. Jeevanjot

By Tricitynews Reporter

Chandigarh, Oct.11, 2021:- Nirvair charitable foundation has launched its flagship program Ek rukh ek dhee at Chandigarh. The founder and president Dr. Jeevanjot said that the entire nirvair team got an opportunity to serve in different parts of the Punjab.

During our exposure and interactions with the people in different parts of Punjab its was felt that people are still not getting elementary facility like education specially in the area of malwa region.

Dr. Jeevanjot  said that the literacy rate in many regions of Punjab is around 65%. The Punjab govt has a clear intention of providing 50% women right .to testify govt’s intention govt has reserved 50% seats for women in panchayt election and not only this govt has also reserved 33% percent in govt job. Women at large are still deprived of education.

I personally very strongly feel that women education is imp to strike a healthy and harmonious balance in a society is equally important as trees are to the environment. Unfortunately the society has on the name of development has depleted the forest cover like anything, and the rising population has made the situation more badly.

We at nirvair feel that the declining health condition and the rise in the pandemics is due to the polluted flora an fauna. Entire humanity is facing the ire of the nature our glaciers are melting our forest covers are depleting and to make the entire scene worse we have also damaged the ozone layer. So it will not be a lie that there is a situation of el nino and la nina. O2 deficiency is another challenge faced by the humanity is also an outcome of the same.

If necessary and strict action is not taken immediately then it will be too late.

So we at nirvair while contributing towards the fight against corona we have successfully planted around 10000 trees in different 55 villages in district Bhatinda.

The entire team has now initiated the program other than girl education n tree plantation we have deputed members to take care of already planted trees. Under the same line of action we are launching our flagship program “Ek rukh ek dhee ”

She appeals the entire Punjabis beti padao rukh lagao is dharti nu swarg banao should be taken as a mission and everybody should directly and indirectly participate in our program Ek rukh ek dhee.

INTERNATIONAL DAY OF GIRL CHILD: International Day of the Girl Child was first achieved by the Beijing Declaration in 1995 at the World Conference on Women in Beijing. It was the first-ever event to have identified the need for addressing issues faced by adolescent girls around the world. Every year on October 11, International Day of the Girl Child is celebrated to empower girls and amplify their voice. It acknowledges the importance, power and potential of adolescent girls by encouraging the opening up of more opportunities for them. This day also holds importance as it eliminates the gender-based challenges that little girls face around the world, including child marriages, discrimination, violence and poor learning opportunities.
