SBP Group Expands Footprints Beyond Punjab: Coming Up with Projects in Northern Region

Chandigarh 25th November:- सामाजिक कार्यो को समर्पित युवाओं ने विभिन्न हॉस्पिटल, रेलवे स्टेशन आदि जगहों पर कंपकपाती ठंड मे बिना छत जीवन बिताने को मजबूर, गरीब, बेबस और लाचारजनों को कंबल वितरित किये। इन चण्डीगढ़ युवा दल के कार्यकर्ता सुनील यादव, विनायक बंगिया के नेतत्व में चण्डीगढ़ शिव सेना के उपाध्यक्ष अमित शर्मा, शिव सेना के वार्ड नं. 14 के अध्यक्ष  विकास शर्मा, उपाध्यक्ष रितिक बंगिया, जिम्मी, अर्जुन बादशाह, विशाल चोपड़ा, भूषण, बलकार सिंह विक्टर, कैलाश अजय आदि शामिल थे।

Workshop on Making of Jute and Paper Bags

Chandigarh 25th November:-Maharishi Dayanand Public School, Daria, Chandigarh organized a workshop in which students learnt how to prepare paper and jute bags in collaboration with the Department of Environment, Chandigarh Administration .The workshop was conducted under the guidance of Art and Craft teachers Mrs. Kiran Prabha and Mamta. The students were told about the pollution caused by plastic bags, which cannot be destroyed easily. These decreased the productivity of land and growth of plants.  Plastic bags contain germs which become harmful when eatables are kept in it. Such bags also harmful for animals. Plastics bags pollute water of the rivers.
Telling about the utility of the jute and paper bags the students told that these bags are biodegradable and environment friendly. It does not emit toxic gases and harmful chemicals. These bags are useful for packaging materials. 
Principal, Dr. Vinod Kumar told that the aim of this workshop was to train students for making paper and jute bags. He praised the students for participating in the environmental activities with zeal and zest.
