Canada's International Language Centre Unveiled: Learn to Speak Fluently in English in 90 Hours

Chandigarh 01st December:- International Language Centre(ILC) which has its campus in Calgary, Alberta in Canada has announced start of operations through its India centre located at Sec 8 in Chandigarh. It is noteworthy that ILC is recognised by Education Society, Canada as well as Service, Alberta. Details of start of this new initiative in the education sector of the region, was announced by senior representatives of ILC, during a press meet convened at the India office in Chandigarh. 
Ajit Anjan Singh, Director, ILC, Canada, said that we are offering a 3 Year course + 1year Internship. This will be a degree programme where 6 months training will take place at the Chandigarh campus and this will be followed by 2.5 years training in ILC, Canada. The advantage is that ILC will provide a 1 year Internship to the student either at ILC campus in Canada or in any other college or institution not just in Canada but in other countries as well. This Internship will be paid.
The degree programme is being offered for English, French, Spanish, German & Russian languages to start with. Chinese & Japanese languages will be added in due course. Admissions are open for May 2018 intake.
ILC Canada campus boasts of a Language Research Centre where the latest trends in different world languages are studied on a continued basis. Aspects like correct pronunciation, vocabulary building, internet language etc all are analysed & studied for inclusion in training programmes of ILC.
The centre prides itself in making one speak quality English in just 90 hours; the training for same is spread over 3 months. Shiraj Singh, Director(Academics), ILC, Chandigarh said that our new concept in teaching of English Language is unique and flexible which ensures perfect retention of content by involving purely psychological and scientific methods. It is entirely different from the traditional and stress full way of school/college type of English learning. For other languages too, a similar approach is used. Shiraj singh said that we will use tools like lingua, phone, octaphone, PTA tapes & visual aids to help you speak quality English.
The training module is practical oriented & caters to one's personalized needs & also helps one develop a knack to come out of a difficult speaking situations.  A systematic approach at ILC leads to better communication skills & to enhancing one's personality through debates, seminars, personality development workshops and interview classes.
Namrata Chhabra, Director (Marketing), ILC, Chandigarh said that we believe that a lot of youngsters & professionals want to learn English in a way that they are able to work off shore without a language hindrance. The Institutes & academies present do provide training but these might not be fully helpful as they do not have an International tie up. We have complete facilities & resources to teach English & multiple languages & are quite upbeat about the market potential, in North particularly in Punjab, Haryana & Himachal.
Post the course students can work as content developers, in media & entertainment industry, own & write their own blogs, enter the translation industry et al. The barrier of language will no longer be a roadblock to students' career and he or she will be able to work in different countries and assimilate a variety of cultures well.
Ajit Anjan Singh concluded by saying that ILC courses will give an opportunity to a student which will enable him or her to use English and other languages fluently, frequently, confidently, in a natural way & in real life situations.

विश्व एड्स दिवस पर पोस्टर मेकिंग प्रतियोगिता तथा रैली आयोजित

Chandigarh 01st December:- ट्रांसपोर्ट कारपोरेशन ऑफ़  इंडिया  फाउंडेशन दरिया  ने स्टेट एड्स कण्ट्रोल सोसाइटी के सहयोग से वर्ल्ड एड्स डे के उपलक्ष्य माय हेल्थ माय राइट थीम पर महर्षि दयानंद पब्लिक स्कूल दरिया चंडीगढ़ में स्लोगन पोस्टर मेकिंग  कम्पटीशन  एवं रैली का आयोजन किया।  इस प्रतियोगिता में विशाल सिंह ,वृजेश  एवं विकास को प्रथम ,द्वितीय और तृतीय स्थान मिला।  जबकि साहिल को  सांत्वना पुरस्कार दिया   कार्यक्रम के पश्चात् ट्रांसपोर्ट कारपोरेशन ऑफ़  इंडिया  फाउंडेशन  द्वारा आयोजित  जागरूकता रैली में  बच्चों ने भाग लिया। इस रैली को  गांव के सरपंच गुरप्रीत सिंह हैप्पी ने हरी झंडी दिखाकर रवाना किया।  स्टूडेंट्स हाथों में पोस्टर्स लेकर मुख्य सड़क से होते हुए गलियों में गए जहाँ उन्होंने लोगों को एड्स के बारे में जानकारी देते हुए आगाह किया तथा  देश को एड्स मुक्त बनाने के लिए कहा। 
इस मौके पर प्रोजैक्ट मेनेजर रणदीप सिंह , डॉ. विनोद कुमारसोनिया, रामानंद , अंजना देवी, मोहित, नीलम देवी, सुमन  और असिस्टेंट प्रोग्राम अफसर खुशविंदर सिंह  आदि उपस्थित थे।

Ambika College of Nursing Conduct Five Days Aids Day program

Chandigarh 01st December:- Ambika College of Nursing, Kharar, Mohali, concerns a lot on health care issue. Five days Aids Day program was conducted in the premises. All the programmes were presided by Mrs. Vibha Pandey, Managing Director, Ambika College of Nursing. 30th Nov. 2017 seminar was organized with the theme “AIDS Fight and Prevent it”. The session was chaired by Dr. Ranjit Randhawa M.D. (Pathology), Medical Officer and Nodal Officer, AIDS Control program civil hospital, Kharar.
On 1st Dec. 2017 Rally was conducted to create an awareness of AIDS. The Rally was flag of by Dr. Tarsem Singh, Medical officer and orthopedic consultant civil hospital kharar, Dr. Pawanpreet Kaur Medical officer (Dental) and Mrs. Vibha Pandey, Managing Director Ambika College of Nursing.
Rally Started from Civil Hospital Kharar at 10:00 A.M. in the morning, carried all the way through the Kharar Bazar and ended up at civil hospital kharar. Children voiced on the hazards of AIDS, its causes and repercussions. Children made play cards, charts, and posters, slogans by which they motivated and guided local residence of kharar. The main motive of organizing such an event by the management was to make the young generation aware about pros & cons of AIDS and how to prevent it.
