Strawberry Samaritans Spreads “Healthy Eating Habit” Message

Chandigarh 24th November:- Pledging on the Coming World Obesity Day i.e. 26 November 2016 to set a healthy future of their age mates, both these Samaritans started an initiative of Healthy Eating and correcting the menu of theirs’ School Canteen. As Charity starts from own home, these budding stars first surveyed their own school students, made a healthy menu with the help of a dietician and then spread amongst other school students. 
10th Standard studs Adit Jindal and Chaitanya Gupta of Strawberry Fields School Chandiagrh, are now all set to launch an app on Healthy Eating as well. In this endeavour they had visited private and government schools, presented presentations on Obesity and its consequences. Initially they faced little obstacle while awakening their age mates regarding Healthy Eating but later on younger and students of their age not only understood but also shared helping hand in awakening the other students of many government and private schools.
Notably, their project “Eat Healthy Be Fabulous” is well appreciated and recognized by TGELF (The Global Education & Leadership Foundation). TGELF has chosen 12 teams across the INDIA in which one of the projects is of ADIT JINDAL and CHAITANYA GUPTA 
While Expressing further on this project Adit Jindal said that many students in our age are fascinated towards unhealthy lifestyle whereas there is so much healthy food that we can have and could save ourselves from deadly diseases like Obesity, Diabetes, Heart Attack etc. 
Nodding on the same Chaitanya Gupta said that we have approached government school students and private school students, we had a hard time while convincing them on their eating habits and changing the school menu was even harder. 
Adi Jindal added that today in this walkathon, we are making students understand why this is so important to have Healthy eating life pattern so that they can reduce the risks of diseases around them.


Gujarat’s Booming Ceramic Industry Woos North India’s Entrepreneurs

Chandigarh 24th November:- A delegation representing the booming ceramic industry of Gujarat was in the city having toured Punjab having met the Ceramic and sanitary ware industry. The ceramics industry in India came into existence about a century ago and has matured over time to form an industrial base. India's ceramic tiles industry is estimated to be of Rs. 24,000 crore of which 40% is organized while 60% is unorganized sector.  
Vibrant Ceramics Expo and Summit, 2016 is being organized from 16 to 18 December 2016 at the Sabarmati river-front (An initiative of Prime Minister of India Narendra Modi) in Ahmedabad, India. This event is being organized in association with the Morbi Ceramics Associations. VCES 2016 aims at serving as one of a kind knowledge sharing podium for the ceramics and sanitary-ware industry as a whole.
K G Kundariya, President of Gujarat Granito Manufacturers Association, Nilesh Jetpariya, President of Morbi Dhuva Glaze Tiles Association, and Sandip Patel, CEO of Vibrant Ceramics 2016, addressed the media at the Chandigarh Press Club.
 K G Kundariya said that Morbi in Gujarat is world’s second largest tile manufacturing zone, with a cumulative industrial investment of more than INR 8000 crores. K G Kundariya informed that Morbi also has a distinction of producing India’s first 3D tiles that have huge export potentials.
Nilesh Jetpariya, President of Morbi Dhuva Glaze Tiles Association said that Morbi is home to more than 600 units manufacturing more than 90 percent of total ceramic production in India.
India's ceramic industry ranks at 2nd position in the world and produces around 12.9% of global output. Today, it is among the top three countries in the field of tile production and is further developing is proceeding by giant strides. The industry provides employment to 550,000 people, of whom 50,000 are directly employed.
Mr. Sandip Patel, CEO of a major international event, Vibrant Ceramics Expo and Summit 2016 is being held at Ahmedabad on 16-18 December 2016, which would be an opportunity for the region’s Ceramic and sanitary ware industry.

Explaining the key highlights of the Vibrant Ceramics Expo and Summit 2016, Mr Patel informed that technology transfer, investment and joint ventures, B2B as well as B2G networking opportunities will be key highlights at the conference, while the exhibition would showcase latest technology, ceramic tiles and sanitary-ware.

वार्ड नंबर 19 से आज़ाद उम्मीदवारअरुण कुमार भरने पहुंचे नामांकन पत्र:लेकिन लौटे छुट्टी के चलते लौटे वापिस

Chandigarh 24th November:- नगर निगम के 18 दिसम्बर को होने वाले चुनावों का चुनावी बिगुल बज चूका है भाजपा और बसपा ने इस वार्ड में कुछ उम्मीदवारों की लिस्ट पहले से ही जारी कर दी है और पार्टियों द्वारा किये गए नामो की घोषणा के बाद विरोध के स्वर भी उठने शुरू हो गए है। वही कांग्रेस पार्टी उम्मीदवारों के नामो पर मंथन कर रही है। नामांकन प्रक्रिया शुरू हुए दो दिन बीत चुके है,लेकिन अभी तक किसी भी पार्टी के उम्मीदवार ने नामांकन नही भरा है। वही वार्ड नंबर 19 से आज़ाद उम्मीदवार अरुण कुमार ने आज अपने समर्थकों के साथ पहल करने की कोशिश की थी और रिटर्निंग अफसर राकेश कुमार पोपली के समक्ष अपना नामांकन पत्र भरने पहुंचे। परन्तु चुनाव आयोग द्वारा घोषणा के बाबजूद भी रिटर्निंग ऑफिसर का कार्यालय छुट्टी के चलते उम्मीदवार को बंद मिला। जब इस बारे में चुनाव आयुक्त राकेश मेहता और रिटर्निंग आफिसर राकेश कुमार पोपली से बात की गयी तो उन्होंने सार्वजनिक छुट्टी आने पर कार्यालय बंद होने पर क्षमा मांगी और कल नामांकन पत्र भरने की विनती की।
पत्रकारों से बातचीत करते हुए अरुण कुमार ने कहा कि वार्ड .19 में समस्याएं ही समस्याएँ है। इस वार्ड में पूर्व बसपा पार्षद नरेश कुमार ने किसी भी तरह का विकास नही करवाया है। जगह जगह गंदगी के अम्बार लगे हुए है। साफ़ सफाई व्यवस्था तो पूरी तरह से नाकाम ही रही है। जबकि देशभर में स्वच्छ भारत मुहीम के तहत कई कार्यक्रम प्रशाशन द्वारा एवं पार्टी स्तर पर आयोजित किये जा रहे हैं लेकिन वार्ड के पूर्व पार्षद नरेश ही नही बल्कि भाजपा और कांग्रेस द्वारा भी इस वार्ड को अनदेखा किया गया है | इस वार्ड में समस्याओं का ढेर है | यहां के लोकल नेता, प्रधान आदि विकास का ढोंग दिखा कर अपना उल्लू सीधा कर रहे हैं | वार्ड में सफाई के अतिरिक्त सीवरेज, पेयजल, स्ट्रीटलाइट आदि कई मुद्दे हैं जहाँ विकास की अनदेखी हो रही है।
