IJW’s Media Mega Summit Concludes: Journalists Honoured

Chandigarh 03rd July:- Working Journalist of India today organized Media Mega Summit which was presided by Bandaru Dattareya, Minister for Labour and Employment, Govt of India. He urged the media for their impartial, transparent, truth, positive, ethical and nationalist role for the all round the national development.
While extending thanks to Pawan Kumar, Zonal Organizational Secretary, Bhartiya Mazdoor Sangh and Nagendra Pal, State Secretary General, he said that their roles has made Bhartiya Mazdoor Sangh to constituted Working Journalist Of India which is further creating history.
While recounting his earlier days, he said that he was in jail during emergency. He used to study in cell and he was always inspired by the writing of journalists. He wrote 145 letters to than Chief Minister Rajshekhar Reddy to address the problems of state.
He said that for Working Journalist Act, a review meeting to attain labour rights will be called which will be attended by all media representatives of Web-Digital Social Broadcast and Electronic Media. This will be followed by a meeting with Chief Ministers and Labour
Ministers of respective states so give a new dimension for the enactment of Working Journalist Act.
During the occasion, Pawan Kumar, Zonal Organizational Secretary, Bhartiya Mazdoor Sangh stressed upon certain provisions of journalist class which includes social security, equal work–equal pay, abolishment of contractual basis job, dissolvement of Press Council to
constitute Media Council. Minister also made his consent to bring media reforms in favour of journalists.
Present on the occasion, Dr. Harshvardhan, Minister for Science & Technology, Govt of India said that  journalists should always fight for their rights and problems, but also continue to balance with positive reporting and national interests in mind.
While addressing the forum, Mahesh Giri, another parliamentarian from East Delhi said that Journalists are the mirror of truth. A true journalist reveals the truth and problems of society but nowadays this class is going through a tough time and challenges. For that they need to struggle for their right.
Sanjeev Shekhar, President, Working Journalist of India and Narender Bhandari, General Secretary expressed their thanks to journalists for the successful event. Chief Guests also unveiled the souvenir “Words Voice’. Noted journalist Vijay Kranti, BS Bhati, President, BMS, Delhi and General Secretary Nagendra Pal also briefed the journalists during the occasion. The event was coordinated by Parminder Pal, a spokesperson of DSGMC.


Vodafone & Whatsapp to Empower Customers to Chat in Language of Their Choice

Chandigarh 03rd July:- Vodafone India, one of India’s leading telecommunications service providers, together with WhatsApp is happy to promote and educate millions of users to use the app in local India languages. Vodafone is one of the first operators to start such an initiative and aims to empower its consumers to connect with each other in a language of their preference.
Today, WhatsApp is available in more than 50 different languages around the world. The app currently has over 200 million monthly active users in India, using 10 Indian languages.
To drive the adoption of the newly introduced local language feature on WhatsApp, Vodafone has built customized pages in various Indian languages (Hindi, Marathi, Bengali, Tamil among others). The interface on the page is built with an animated step-by-step approach displaying the option of changing to different Indian languages while chatting. This makes setting up the local language option for WhatsApp on Vodafone a simple matter of a few clicks. Updating status, chatting or even sharing messages in the language of the customer’s choice is possible. With a simple click, consumers can even install WhatsApp.
Announcing the initiative, Sandeep Kataria, Chief Commercial Officer, Vodafone India, said that we are delighted to partner with WhatsApp for enabling and educating our customers to be able chat in the language of their preference and hence be more at ease while chatting with their loved ones. We see it as a big step towards empowering the next one billion internet users. It is also in keeping with our philosophy of connecting for good. We believe that local language support is a clear area of focus for us, and we see this campaign with WhatsApp as a step in the right direction.

Bollywood Sinder Shilpa Joshi Release Her Song “Pehla Pyaar”

Chandigarh 03rd July:- New song of Bollywood Sinder Shilpa Joshi has released today at Chandigarh Press Club and the song title is “PEHLA PYAAR”. Music of the song prepared by Soham Nayak and this is a romantic track.
On this occasion Shilpa Joshi said that she worked hard on this song and this is a romantic track. It’s fresh and different from regular romantic songs further it will give a new definition to Hindi romantic songs. The words of song written by Vandana Khandelwal and Rahul Jain. Sound and Vocal prepared by Stevie Richard from London city of England. Stevie Richard said that Shilpa really worked hard on her vocal for this song hence he is sure that song “PEHLA PYAAR will be a matter of discussion.  
On this occasion Project Head and Producer Gurmeet Baba said that there is no shortcoming in this video of the song. In this song all the major celebrities are working leading actor of the video is Kumar Jai singh who is doing leading role in Star Plus Channel popular serial Ishakbaz. Spiky Entertainment to Release its Maiden Punjabi Film “Krazy Tabbar”on 7th July

Chandigarh 03rd July:- A Packet full of Love, full on comedy & drama will be available in upcoming Punjabi movie “Krazy Tabbar”, this film brings out the best of performances in the Punjab film industry. Spiky Entertainment is ready to release their maiden Punjabi film “Krazy Tabbar”on 7th of July, 2017 which stars renowned actor Harish Verma, senior and versatile artists Yograj Singh, Nirmal Rishi, Jaswinder Bhalla, BN Sharma, Shivender Mahal, Arjuna Bhalla, Priyanka Mehta and Hobby Dhaliwal. The film is directed by Ajay Chandhok.
The team of the film was in town today for its promotions and to talk about it. Manduip Singh, also a Director, has written the story also, along with Nihal Purba who in association with him has penned down the screenplay and dialogues of the film.
Ajay Chandhok, Director said that we can’t reveal much about the story at the moment but the film is surely going to make a mark in a comic cinema. He believes film-making is the greatest art and there is an unlimited scope of experiment and innovation, so he is ready and confident to be the director of this movie.
Naveen Tak, the Producer said that he is very enthusiastic and happy to work with this wonderful team & is relying on the talent of the whole team and is confident of getting success”.
Harish Verma, the lead actor said that it is an unusual script, the character is quite close to the real life and this will be another platform for him to show his real self.
Priyanka Mehta, the lead actress, said that this is her first punjabi movie and she is very happy to be associated with this project & looking forward for something good in Punjabi cinema. She further added that she is very happy to start her movie career with this movie as this being her debut; she is looking forward to mark her presence in the Punjabi movie industry.
Music is composed by Gurcharan Singh. The lyrics have been penned down by Harish Verma and Inder Deol. We will hear the melodious and soulful voices of Nooran Sisters, Ninja, Firoz Khan and Kamal Khan in the movie songs.

प्रतिज्ञा फाउंडेशन ने सेक्टर 56 मे किया पौधारोपण

Chandigarh 03rd July:- प्रतिज्ञा फाउंडेशन द्वारा सेक्टर 56 मे गवर्नमेंट सीनियर सेकेंडरी स्कूल के साथ लगते पार्क में पौधारोपण किया गया। इस अवसर पर विशेष रुप से चंडीगढ़ की मेयर आशा जयसवाल उनके साथ पार्षद रवि कांत शर्मा, प्रतिज्ञा फाउंडेशन के चेयरमैन दीपक शर्मा, प्रधान भरत यादव जितेंद्र यादव, सोहेल सिंह, जसवीर कौर ,संजय गोस्वामी, रमेश चौधरी, निशांत शर्मा, अशोक शर्मा,  योगराज सिंह दीपक माधव ,राकेश शर्मा, कृपासिंधु यादव राम सिंह यादव, प्रकाश यादव, ओम प्रकाश यादव, ज्ञान चंद यादव, आदि विशेष रुप से उपस्थित रहे।
प्रतिज्ञा फाउंडेशन के चेयरमैन दीपक शर्मा ने बताया कि हर साल की तरह पर्यावरण को स्वच्छ रखने की कोशिश करते हुए एनजीओ की तरफ से पौधारोपण किया जाता है। अभी सेक्टर 56 मे 250 पौधे लगाए गए हैं और आने वाले दिनों में 1000 का आंकड़ा एनजीओ के द्वारा पूरा किया जाएगा। क्योंकि यदि हम आज पेड़ लगाएंगे तो कल जीने के लिए बहुमूल्य जो सांसे हैं, स्वच्छ वातावरण की जरिए से प्राप्त कर सकेंगे। उन्होंने बताया कि चंडीगढ़ की मेयर से ट्री गार्ड की डिमांड की है क्योंकि पौधे तो हम लगा देते हैं तो इनको जीवित रखने के लिए ट्री गार्ड की बहुत आवश्यकता रहती है मेयर के द्वारा आश्वासन दिया गया है कि वह जल्द ट्री गार्ड  का इंतजाम करके देंगे चाहे वह MC के द्वारा एडमिशन के द्वारा या उन्हें अपने फंड में से करना पड़े।
प्रतिज्ञा फाउंडेशन के प्रधान भरत यादव ने बताया कि NGO पौधे लगाने के साथ-साथ उनकी देखभाल भी करती है जो पौधे पिछले साल लगाए गए थे। वह पार्क के अंदर आज हरे भरे हैं और जितने भी पौधे एनजीओ के द्वारा लगाए जाएंगे उसका ख्याल रखा जाएगा और उन्हें मरने नहीं दिया जाएगा।

State Bank of India Organizes Blood Donation Camp:165 Blood Unit Collected

Chandigarh 03rd July:- State Bank of India in association with Blood Bank Society, PGI, Chandigarh, organized a Blood Donation Camp at  its Local Head Office in Chandigarh, to mark “Circle Foundation Day”. The camp was inaugurated by Ms. Sunita Sharma, President, SBI Ladies Club, Chandigarh. Total 207 willing people came to donate blood, out of which 165 were the successful donors.
On the occasion, Anil Kishora, Chief General Manager, State Bank of India, Chandigarh Circle alongwith the Circle Management Committee Members encouraged the donors and thanked them for participating in this noble cause. The President, SBI Ladies Club and other members presented the certificates and gifts to the blood donors.
Dr. Suchet Sachdev, Assistant Professor, Department of Blood Transfusion Medicine, PGI, Chandigarh alongwith Anil Kishora, CGM and other Circle Management Committee members also planted saplings on this occasion.
