Illegal Mining was Taking Place on a Large Scale in the State: Kumari Selja

Chandigarh 03rd December:- Haryana Congress State President and Rajya Sabha MP Kumari Selja raised the issue of illegal mining in Haryana in the winter session of Rajya Sabha today.
Kumari Selja said that illegal mining was being carried out across the country. In 2018-19, 1,15,492 cases of illegal mining were found and these were increasing manifold. Cases of illegal mining are increasing due to lack of strict laws. NGT has ordered if any vehicle is found involved in illegal mining, it should be confiscated and released only after charging 50 per cent of the ex-show room price of that vehicle. But till date, no vehicle has been confiscated under this provision.
Referring to the CAG Report on mining in the Haryana Legislative Assembly, she said it has been found in the CAG report that illegal mining was taking place on a large scale in the state. According to the report, mining contractors have been found exploiting minerals in double or more mining areas. Even the course of flow of river has been diverted due to illegal mining. The boundary of the dam has been altered and illegal bridges have been constructed. The CAG report found that mining contractors have been causing loss to the revenue by tapping minerals in double the area actually sanctioned. If it is so happening in all 95 mining areas as  is likely a loss of more than Rs 5000 crore annually was being caused to the public exchequer. 
She said that a scam  of this magnitude cannot happen without the connivance of the administration and the government. When the government has satellite imagery, how a scam of thousands of crore is taking place. She demanded that investigation of this illegal mining scam should be got conducted by a sitting judge of the High Court.

Evil Kaikala to be Crowned as the King of Vijayanagar on Sony SAB’s Tenali Rama

Vijaynagar’s future and rule resides under the power of the corrupt and evil minister and the future episodes will tell what’s in store for the residents of the city as their beloved Pandit Rama Krishna fails to stop Kaikala’s Rajya-abhishek.
Before being crowned as the King of Vijayanagar, Kaikala threatens Rama that he will kill King Balakumara and then make sure he ends Rama’s life as well. Determined Kaikala, starts scheming to put Balakumara’s (Shakti Anand) life in danger but Rama saves his life by figuring Kaikala’s plan with his wit and intelligence.

This year submission of details sought from HEIs, over 7000 institutions applied, only a select few institutions were shortlisted based on cut-off. AICTE & UGC inspected all the institutions. Best institutions were selected in 8 categories, including Universities (Residential & Non-Residential), Colleges (Residential & Non-Residential), Technical Institutions (Universities – Residential), Technical Colleges (Residential & Non-Residential) and Government Universities.

BSDU Invites Applications for Bachelor of Vocational Programs in Multiple Disciplines

Chandigarh 03rd December:- Bhartiya Skill Development University, Jaipur (BSDU) invites applications for 3-year Bachelor of Vocation (B.Voc) programs. The B.Voc curriculum has 60% Skills and 40% General Education Component.  To supplement the skills acquired at the BSDU, students are sent for industrial internship every alternate semester. The UGC has included BSDU in its list of universities, vide UGC letter no. F.8-14/2017 (CPP-I/PU) dated 04 August 2017. The UGC has approved B.Voc and M.Voc programs based on the National Skill Qualification Framework (NSQF) to address the critical requirements of Skill sets to make the graduates industry ready. These programs are now equivalent to any other graduation degree program. Students under these programs shall acquire the necessary skills to work in the IT departments of any organization.
Brig. SS Pabla, Pro Chancellor, BSDU said that the B.Voc Program has been designed with the mission of imparting knowledge and offering hands-on technical skills in the various programs. Our main objective of the B.Voc program is to create trained professionals in their respective felids so that they can work in the industry as well as start their own ventures.
