Animals Maintains Balance in Nature:Dr.Vinod Sharma

Chandigarh 04th October:- Wild Life Week -2016 started in Maharishi Dayanand Public School Daria with collaboration of Environment Department Chandigarh Administration here today. Principal Dr. Vinod Sharma told in his lecture to the students that wildlife is a valuable gift of nature. Animals maintain balance in nature. Rich wildlife keeps the environment clean. The trees are cut indiscriminately and forests are being reduced. Hunting of animals for their skin, tusks and fur has also threatened wildlife. Many species of plants animals and birds have become extinct.
Sukhwinder Singh said that man has been cutting the trees on a large scale. It leads to the loss of habitat of animals. It is necessary to preserve our wildlife because many species have become
extinct. We should save reuse and recycle paper to save trees.
The main aim of this lecture was to educate the students about the protection of animals and plants.



Aryans Group organizes 10th Cultural Extravaganza “Rajni”

Chandigarh 04th October:- Aryans College of Engineering, Chandigarh today organized its 10th Cultural Extravaganza “Rajni” at Tagore Theatre, Sector- 18, Chandigarh with fun and frolic performances. The function commenced with the Lamp Lighting ceremony by the Aryans Group patrons Prof. Roshan Lal Kataria (D.C) and Mrs. Rajni Kataria.
The function started with a welcome dance by Dharam, Sachin, Rohit & group. Students of Aryans Group presented a colorful Cultural Programme which included Bhangra, Giddha, Naati, Western dance, Dark Monster, Punjabi dance, Fusion, Act, Folk dance, solo song, solo dance etc.
Many renowned artists including Bollywood actor & line producer Darshan Singh Aulakh; Pollywood singer Jashan, Hitesh Bhardwaj, Chandigarh Tourism; Dr. (Mrs.) Parveen Kataria, Director General, Aryans Group; Prof. B.S Sidhu, Registrar, Aryans Group; Prof. A.P Jain, Director, Aryans Group; Dr. Manjula Kataria, Principal, Aryans College of Education etc also graced the occasion.
Dr. Anshu Kataria speaking on the occasion said that Aryans Group has students from all over India who are studying in various courses. The students presented their respective cultures through their dances in the function. He added that besides studies, extra co-curricular activities are equally important. They help in the overall development of the students.
 It is to be mentioned that various cultural activities performed by students like Bhangra by Sukhdev, Ravinder and Group; Drama Queens by Ragini, Shagun, Sameeksha & Group brought the audience onto their heels. Gidda by Sabeena, Taranpreet and Group was the centre of attraction. Retro Dance by Rohit, Vinci, Amit Meena & Group was also the centre of attraction.
Showing the cultures of different states, Naati performed by Hitender, Mritunjay and group while Chong, Kinali, Edaip & group performed Bamboo Dance and made the audience to clap repeatedly.
Girls including Sonika, Baljeet & Group rocked the stage with Bhangra, Shubham, Vikjrant & Group performed Funny Dance and made audience laugh with their dancing tricks while Solo items including singing and dancing by Sudhakar, Adil, Anant, Govind, Anmol etc mesmerized the audience.

Zee Cinema to Premier Aditya Roy Kapoor and Katrina Kaif’s Eternal Love Saga Fitoor on 8th October

Fitoor is a romantic drama, about old time lovers, Noor and Firdaus, whose longing and obsession transcends time and age. Speaking about Fitoor, the profound actress Tabu said that Fitoor is a love story of two individuals, who face difficulties in completing the circle of love. Zee Action Presents:‘Khoonkhar Khalnayaks’ from October 7th to 9

‘Khoonkhar Khalnayaks’ kicks off this Friday, 7th October at 8 PM with ‘King Kong 3’ revolving around a face-off between Danny Bonaduce and Barry Williams as they hunt down the mythical big-foot.
