August:- With its proposition of 'Woh Zamaana Kare Deewana', Zee
Classic is India's only Hindi movie channel that endeavors to recreate the
'Evergreen Age' of Indian Hindi Cinema by showcasing not just the films that
shaped Indian cinema, but also acquaint viewers with the creative talent who
were a part of that timeless era. Zee Classic boasts of an outstanding
library of Indian cinematic classics and has recently associated with National
Film Development Corporation of India (NFDC) - to further enrich its library.
Zee Classic is showcasing ‘India’s Finest Films – Masterpieces from NFDC’, a
distinguished upcoming property showcasing masterpieces like ‘Dharavi’, ‘Ek
Doctor ki Maut’, ‘Gandhi’, ‘Qissa’ amongst many other such gems from the NFDC
library. To celebrate the 70th Independence Day of India, Zee
Classic will premiere Richard
Attenborough’s iconic movie ‘Gandhi’ on Saturday, 13th August at 8
PM and on Monday, 15th August at 10 PM.
On this occasion, veteran actor Rohinhi Hattangadi who plays the
role of Kastruba Gandhi spoke exclusively about her role, Ben Kingsley who
plays the lead, preparation, experience and future projects amongst other
things.
