Dr K S Chugh Honoured with Kenzo Oshima Gold Medal Award

Chandigarh 26^th September:- Dr K S Chugh, Emeritus Professor of Nephrology, PGI, Chandigarh was honored with Kenzo Oshima Gold Medal Award during the 15thAsian Pacific Congress of Nephrology held at Perth, Australia from September 17-21, 2016. The conference was held jointly with 52ndCongress of Australian and New Zealand Society of Nephrology and was attended by 1200 nephrologists from China, Japan, Australia, Korea and other Asian countries. Dr K S Chugh had been associated with the Foundation of Asian Pacific Society of Nephrology (APSN) and was elected as the 3rd President of the Society from 1986-92. The publication of the highly rated Journal of “Nephrology” was started during his tenure as the President. Dr K S Chugh had organized several CMEs and Updates in Nephrology in India, Nepal, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka and other Asian Countries with invited faculties from advanced centers.
