Administration to Hold Draw of Lots for Reservation of Wards of General Election to MC

Chandigarh 07^th October:- The Chandigarh Administration has decided to hold general election to Municipal Corporation of Chandigarh from existing 26 wards. The draw of lots for the reservations of wards for scheduled Castes candidates(including scheduled Castes Women) and women (General), to be  filled up by direct elections, will be held on 14^th October, 2016, at 11.00 A.M in the Conference hall of the U.T. State Guest House, Sector-6, Chandigarh by the State Election Commissioner, U.T., Chandigarh.
