Purab Premium Apartments Allottees Demand Justice from Capt Amrinder for Possession

Chandigarh 14th April:- Allottees of Purab premium Apartments Sector 88 seeks justice from the chief minister cum chairman of GMADA for saving their hard earned money which they lost due to mischievous mistakes by GMADA officials.
While addressing the Press Conference in Mohali along with other allotees, SK Luna president Purab premium Apartments allottees Association told that GMADA had booked premium flats in November 2011 and promised to complete the project within 3 years. According to the letter of intent LOI issued on 23rd May 2012, GMADA promised to complete the project within 36 months, but unfortunately failed to deliver the results. They added that even construction of towers is incomplete yet, due to this allottees are in panic situation.
They further blamed that they invested their hard earned money into this project, but till date they neither get the flats nor their money back. Allottee’s amount of 1.25 crore of each including interest is on stake due to GMADA.
SK Luna said that they have to pay the interest every month in the shape of installments for the said flats as well as the rent of the houses where they presently living. He openly targeted the GMADA officials especially estate officer for the delaying of project. He blamed that GMADA is misleading public regarding this project

Large number of allotteess whose payments are complete, even their possession is not given. They have been told by estate officer Mahesh Bansal that matter has been refereed to CM Punjab cum Chairman GMADA and was pending due to elections and code of conduct and now pending for consideration.
No official intimation regarding the status of possession of flats to allottees were given and at present they have no idea regarding status of project.

In the meanwhile they demanded from Chief Minister cum Chairman of GMADA Captain Amrinder Singh, Vice Chairman cum additional Chief Secretary Housing and Town Planning Vini Mahajan and Chief Administrator GMADA that this matter must be resolved on priority basis without taking any more money from the allottees as they already face extreme financial losses. They cleared their intention that if they do not get justice, they will not only protest outside the GMADA office, even moves to court too.
