Bharti Foundation Brings ‘Learning with Leaders’ Series to Ludhiana

Ludhiana 26^th July:- Bharti Foundation, the philanthropic arm of Bharti Enterprises, organised the ‘Learning with Leaders’ series in Ludhiana (Punjab). At the event, Ameeta Mulla Wattal, Principal, Springdales School, Delhi, was invited to address Principals and teachers under the Foundations various education initiatives. Ms. Wattal first shared her motivational insights at Satya Bharti School, Sherpur Kalan village with teachers from the school and then addressed visiting Principals from schools that fall under the purview of the Foundation’s Quality Support Program in Jammu & Kashmir, at Sat Paul Mittal School in Ludhiana city.

This initiative is part of the Foundation’s efforts to recognize exceptional leaders in the field of education. Through the ‘Learning with Leaders’ series, Bharti Foundation invites inspirational educationists to share their learning and expertise with not only the attending teachers and Principals but also with the Bharti Foundation team.

Ameeta Mulla Wattal is a prolific educator and has been honored with several National and international awards. She is a member of eminent Boards and steering committees including NCERT, NEUPA, CBSE, etc. She is an active contributor to curriculum development at the State and National level and is passionate about sharing her expertise with educationists. In her lecture today, Ameeta Mulla Wattal elaborated on the importance of directing and supporting effective management of scholastic as well as co-scholastic aspects of education. In addition to promoting students’ performance in academics, she shared the importance of imparting life-skills at the school level. She shared, “Teachers play the role of leaders when they hone the creative and critical thinking skills of her/his students successfully.

Speaking on the occasion  Mamta Saikia, COO, Bharti Foundation said that it is an honor and a privilege to welcome the eminent educationist, Ameeta Mulla Wattal in our midst.
