Chandigarh 16th August:- PGI celebrated tree plantation
diwas today on the eve of independence day. Prof. Dr. Jagat Ram planted a neem
tree and kicked of the campaign for planting 500 number saplings in the PGI
campus this monsoon season. Mixed species of trees will be planted as per the
landscape requirement of the PGI campus. All the high-ups of the institute were
present on this occasion and planted a sapling each. The function was organized
by horticulture wing of the institute.
