Chandigarh 13th September:- A delegation of Property Consultants Association (Regd),
Chandigarh consisting of office bearers namely Kamal Gupta, President, Kamaljit
Singh Panchhi, Chairman, Sunil Kumar, Gen. Secretary, and Manpreet Singh,
Finance Secretary today met H.E. V.P. Singh Badnore, Governor of Punjab &
Administrator, U.T. Chandigarh, and discussed about the Genuine demands of the
public related to the property trade in Chandigarh.
Kamal Gupta said that the main demands
that were discussed today are, to start coversion of commercial and industrial
propeties from leasehold to freehold, Reduction of collector rates of
commercial and industrial properties, Transfer of property on the basis of will,
To abolish 3% stamp duty on gpa within blood relations, To issue of noc of
freehold property, installation of solar system in one kanal and above houses
and society flats and regarding building violation and misuse notices
Kamaljit Singh Panchhi said that H.E.
gave a patience hearing and assured to resolve the problems in a time bound
manner.
