07th Jan,2019:- With the blessings of Satguru Mata Sudiksha ji Maharaj
today, a huge blood donation camp, of Sector 40 Area, was organized by Sant
Nirankari Charitable Foundation in Sant Nirankari Satsang Bhawan Sector 15. In
this camp, 281 devotees including 70 women, donated blood.
This Blood Donation Camp was inaugurated by Dr. G. Dewan,
Director, Health and Family Welfare Department, Chandigarh Administration,
through his tax dedication. During the inauguration, he addressed the blood
donors and said that donating blood is a very noble task. By doing this, unity
in society and country is established. He congratulated the mission for this
sacred task and thanked everyone on behalf of the administration.

Gulati, Secretary Sant Nirankari Mandal and Sant Nirankari Charitable
Foundation, Delhi, said that the blood donation camps were started by Nirankari
Mission in 1986 by Nirankari Baba Hardev Singh Ji Maharaj, who donated blood
Himself. Baba ji, giving a message to humanity, said that "blood should
not be flown into drains." Today Satguru Mata Sudiksha Ji Maharaj is
forwarding the same message. Since 1986 volunteers have donated more than 10
million blood units in a total of 6000 camps. He said that the Sant Nirankari
Charitable Foundation has continued to contribute to cleanliness drive of
railway stations, tree plantation campaigns, free sewing embroidery centres,
charitable dispensaries, and service during natural calamities, in addition to
blood donation.
On this occasion, C. S. Toor (Col. Retired), the Coordinator,
Branch Administration of Sant Nirankari Mandal was also present.
K.K Kashyap, Zonal Incharge of Chandigarh Zone said that this is
the 16th Blood Donation Camp of Chandigarh Zone this year 2018-2019. He added
that a total of 5052 units of blood have been donated in 15 camps so far. K K
Kashyap further said that the Sant Nirankari Mission is a spiritual mission
which informs the soul of the human being about divine knowledge and continues
to contribute in social and welfare activities.
This Blood Donation Camp was conducted by the Government Medical
College Sector-32, Dr. Ravneet Kaur Medical Office Incharge and Civil Hospital
Phase- 6 Mohali Dr. Gaurav Pawar with a team of 10 members each.
On this occasion, Navneet Pathak, Sanyojak, S S Banga
Mukhi Sector 15 and Pawan Kumar, Mukhi of Sector 40 Area, thanked Dr. G Dewan,
C LGulati, C. S. Toor and K.K. Kashyap, blood donors and other dignitaries who
came here.
In this camp all the sections of the Chandigarh and the
adjoining associates enthusiastically participated.
