Chandigarh 10th May:- The
Chopras Group, a leading education group whose origins are in Higher Education,
Career Management and Student Recruitment globally and whose purpose is to
shape lives and careers organised an Inter School Quiz Competition ‘BRAINATHON’
for the schools based out of Tricity., the finals of which were held on the 10th
of May, 2019 with 4 schools qualifying namely Army Public School, Chandimandir;
Bhavans Vidyalaya, Panchkula; Carmel Convent, Chandigarh and St. Soldiers
International Convent School, Mohali. The winners of the quiz were St. Soldiers
International Convent School, Mohali and Bhavans Vidyalaya, Panchkula ended up as
Runners up.
According to the spokesperson of the The Chopras,
goup helped bring Global Education to the forefront for Indian students,
parents and schools starting in 1995, and have engaged millions of students to
help shape lives and careers with student recruitment in over 40 countries and
deep relationships with over 600 universities globally. The Chopras Group are
aggressively diversifying and internationally expanding their core higher
education operations into Research, Corporate & Institutional Services,
Higher Education Delivery and Investment Migration.
The Chopras
Group, with this small initiative, hopes to bring educational institutions
together and encourage students to prove their mettle and would, as a next step
be conducting a similar mega event at College and University level in the
coming days.
