July:- In the Ambedkar Stadium, the ongoing
football tournaments for Inter College students being organised by Nisha
Foundation, final match was quite exciting, as the two teams fought hard.
Finally, Venkateswara College won the match by 4 : 0 and took away the trophy.
On this occasion, Union Minister Ramdas Athawale said that
the way Nisha Foundation organized this tournament is commendable. He congratulate them for spreading the message of saving water and planting trees,
along with the sport. If the young generation joins us in this mission, many
problems would be solved.
Nisha Kothari, Founder, Nisha Foundation said that we are
giving a message with this type of sport, by which the younger generation will
be aware of campaigns like save water, save trees.
Bhaskar Prakash, President of the organisation said that in
this tournament there were a large number of players and spectators in
attendance, the winners were rewarded with the trophy and the runner-up team
was also awarded.
