Tata Chemicals Innovation Centre has been home to
world class R&D capabilities in the emerging areas of food sciences,
nanotechnology and biotechnology. One of the Tata Chemicals innovations
highlighted by CII during the award ceremony was Tata Nx. Tata Chemicals
launched 100% Natural Tata Nx - Zero Sugar and Lite Sugar, a substitute for
regular sugar without the use of artificial sweeteners that has additional
health benefits. With innovation backed by science, it promises to deliver
nutrition in its best form. Tata Swach water purifier and Tata Salt were other
two company’s innovations cited by Confederation of Indian Industry.

India. These established world-class R&D facilities houses experienced
scientists at Tata Chemicals Innovation Centre (IC) in Pune, Rallis Innovation
Chemistry Hub (RICH) and Metahelix Life Sciences in Bengaluru. These centres
act as the company’s technology and innovation hub to support Tata Chemical’s
growth in Basic Chemistry Sciences, AgroSciences, Nutritional Sciences,
Material Sciences and Energy Sciences. Innovation at Tata Chemicals
encompasses multiple facets of business, communities and environment to develop
solutions for a better world and ensure sustainable value creation for all
stakeholders.
