Chandigarh,30th Jan, 2020:- The students and staff of Bhavan Vidyalaya Chandigarh
celebrated Basant Panchami with
customary cheer and reverence, to rejoice the onset of spring.
A Special
Assembly was organised by the Human Excellence Cell ‘Sanskara’, which commenced on an auspicious note with the
Saraswati Pooja. The Senior Principal Ms. Vineeta Arora and Vice Principal Ms.
Suparna Bansal paid obeisance to Goddess Saraswati, the deity of knowledge,
music and art.
A soulful rendition
‘Hey Sharadey Maa’ by the
members of the school choir presented. Ms. Sangeeta Kakkar, faculty of
the Hindi Department shared insights about the significance of Basant and how
it symbolised new spirit and strength after a period of cold and gloom.
