Dev Samaj College for Women Holds Placement Drive

Chandigarh,29^th Jan, 2020:- Placement Season 2020 has kicked off at Dev Samaj College for Women(DSCW), Sector-45/B, here. The Placement Drive was inaugurated by Dr. Agnese Dhillon, Director, Dev Samaj College for Women. The drive began with a presentation by Prashant, Senior Manager, Recruitments, at Focus Eduvation, a US Based Company which is a pioneer in E-Learning and Education Technology. The representatives of the company were at the campus to recruit around 300 E- Learning specialists.

Principal, Dr.Meena Chopra, said that during this year's placement season the college is giving priority to students’ training and placements, and will come up with various programs for the benefit of the students.

Under the college's initiative a pre-placement session was conducted by Amity Global University to prepare the students for the upcoming recruitment process. In the days to come there will be various skill enhancing workshops by UPES, Dehradun, IBS, Chandigarh, Pearl Academy of Fashion and placement drives by Aditya Birla Group, Ambit Consultants and IDFC.

Meanwhile more than 150 students registered enthusiastically for the written test and the first round of HR interviews held by Focus Eduvation, and is looking forward to the upcoming career opportunities.

Dr. Agnese Dhillon congratulated the college for the successful event and re-affirmed the commitment of Dev Samaj in empowering women and making them independent individuals.
