August:- The installation ceremony of MCM DAV
Rotaract Club for the session 2016-17 was held in the college under the
patronage of Principal Dr. Nisha Bhargava. Mrs.Madhu Marwaha, convener of the
club apprised that this year the focus of the club would be on the project-
Prevention of suicides by Indian farmers due to socio economic reasons.
Rotarian Baldev Aggarwal volunteered to
provide scholarships to the children of the needy farmers. Honorable
dignitaries presented the ceremonial collar to the incoming President Tamana
Rai and the other office bearers of the club. The club also announced its
various social outreach programmes.
The Principal Dr. Nisha Bhargava congratulated
the new board members and urged them to keep up the glorious tradition of the
institution as well as the club and uphold the spirit of service.
