April:- This weekend will be one of the most
exciting one on Sony Entertainment Television’s The Kapil Sharma Show. Fans and
viewers will witness the entry of Bollywood’s supremely popular Director &
Actress duo of all time, Karan Johar – Kajol. The show will leave no space for
monotony and bring laughter to the viewers in abundance. On the show, the duo
will be seen interacting and entertaining the audience while sharing their
funny stories and experiences with Kapil. During conversing about Karan’s films
and directorial ventures, he made a shocking revelation that involved Archana
Puran Singh. It was Kimi Katkar but Archana who was offered the famous song,
‘Jumma Chumma’ from the hit 1990 film, Agneepath.
A source close from the sets shared
that it was shocking to learn that Archana Puran Singh was offered to do the
famous item song, ‘Jumma Chumma’ in Agneepath . But, Mega Star Amit Bachchan
said that he is playing a role of a don which is a serious character and Jumma
Chumma music doesn’t suits to the theme of the sequence. So, Amitabh Bachchan
requested to Karan Johar’s father (Yash Johar) to use another item song instead
of ‘Jhumma Chumma’ from archives. This was the reason Archana Singh ended up
doing an item number of, ‘Alibaba’ in the film Agneepath and Jumma Chumma song
was used in Hum starring Amitabh Bachchan, Rajnikanth, Govinda which was
distributed by Dharma Productions”.
