Aug:- Newly formed Rotary Club
of Chandigarh Himalayan conducted their Installation ceremony for the 2019-2020
tenure at Chandigarh. Rotarian and Desh Bhagat Radio Director Sandeep Singh
elected as the President of the club.
The event graced by
District Governor Rotarian Jitendra Dhingra, Rotary International Past
President Raja K. Saboo and other prominent Rotarians from the Tri-city.
President Sandeep Singh
informed that our society faced different kinds of problems during the
developing phase of 2nd decade of 21st century.
Here the society needs special attention on poverty, poor education services
and poor health services. Our team of Rotary Chandigarh
Himalayan dedicated to work on these social evils for the betterment of our
society.
Many initiatives
concerning about healthy environment conditions, water resources management and
female sanitation were pledged during the event.
Jitendra Dhingra, while addressing the Rotarians, emphasized on
the mission of rotary and how rotary has always been at the forefront of social
services throughout the world.
Rotary Chandigarh
Himalayan is formed by the former members of Rotaract Chandigarh Himalayan,
which is a very successful student club in Chandigarh, dedicated to mission
Happy Schools. IPDG Rotarian Praveen Goyal, PDG Rotarian T.K Ruby, PDG Rotarian Madhukar Malhotra,
AG Rotarian Brig. Dhillon were also present
on this occasion.
