School sector 8, Panchkula celebrated Baisakhi with great fervor. Attired in colorful traditional clothes,
students of Kindergarten and the primary wing soaked in the festive spirit of
Baisakhi. A special assembly was held in which Principal Dr. Pathak greeted the
students and elaborated on the historical significance of Baisakhi. Poems
describing the happiness of farmers at harvesting were also recited. A
wholesome ‘Punjabi’ meal comprising of food cooked on traditional ‘Chullah’ was
also served.
