Chandigarh Traders Association Holds Executive Body Meeting

Chandigarh 22nd May:- The Traders of Chandigarh Traders Association held an Executive Body Meeting today under the President ship of Kamaljit Singh Panchhi,  to apprise the Traders Brethrens the Child Labour Act 1986 on employment of Child in Establishments as well as in Houses.  This Act prohibits employment of Child Labor below 14 years.  The Act calls for several punishments ranging from 3 months to 1 year or fine or both. The repetition of offence is punishable from 6 months to 2 years etc..
This meeting was prompted after a successful meet held  by Harjinder Kaur, , Chairperson CCPCR on 18/5/2017 at Snehalaya with members of Chandigarh Beopar Mandal, Members of FOSWAC and our  President Kamaljit Singh Panchhi who is also Advisor Chandigarh Beopar Mandal and Advisor FOSWAC.
Feeling encouraged by this genuine Gesture of CCPCR, the Members of Chandigarh Traders Association Sector 17 was apprised of survey being conducted by the Commission. We have assured the commission that our market i.e. 17A and 17B will be child labor free.  The pledged to implement this Law in right earnest and guide Traders to be responsive to this Act and help society. LET THERE BE A SLOGAN TO ‘SAY NO TO CHILD LABOUR’ AND “THE CHANDIGARH BE CHILD LABOUR FREE CITY”
The Meeting was attended by Mandeep Singh, LC Arora, PK Grover, HS Monga, PN Uppal, Gurmit Singh, Sandeep Grover, Jodh Singh, Arvind Pandey,Naurang Saini, Harish Kumar, Anil Sharma, Narinder Jain, Sunil Kupoor, Raman Mahajan, Rakesh Jai, Naresh Bansal and others.

Max Fashion organizes ‘Moms and Kids’ Fashion Show

Chandigarh 22nd May:- As a part of the ongoing ‘Max Kids Festival’, Max Fashion organized a glittering moms and kids fashion show at North Country Mall, Mohali last night. The show was aimed to provide a platform for mother-child duo to showcase their talents.
At the event popular Punjabi singer, Rupinder Handa enthralled the audience with her peppy numbers besides walking on the ramp also.
Dressed in latest colourful Max garments, the contestants walked the ramp showcasing the colourful collection in the first round.  In the second round the confident moms and kids impressed the judges & audience with their answers.
Saurabh Garg, Regional Head North, Max Fashion commented that Max Kids festival has gained acceptance across the country in the recent past. As a part of the festival, we hoped to encourage the mothers with their children to bring forth their confidence, talent and beauty. It was pleasure to see the contestants enjoying themselves.
Rupinder Handa stated that it was great to see these women with their children participating with such unwavering confidence and we appreciate Max’s effort to encourage moms to be fashionable at every walk of life.
The jury for show included Dr. Seema Wadhwa , associate director at Max Hospital, Mohali and the guest of honour , Bahar Chawla, Fashion Blogger & Model,   Jagdeep Kaur, MD-Dance Pe Chance & Kushan Productions, and Dr. Amar, Principal of Angel Convent School.


Anjali Raut Gill Wins Mrs India West 2017 Crown

Chandigarh 22nd May:- Anjali Raut Gill, who lives in Mumbai, is married into tricity, & keeps travelling to & fro; has won the Mrs India West 2017 Crown. It is noteworthy that Mrs India Pageant and Productions Pvt Ltd by Deepali Phadnis is organzing the Mrs. India World Beauty Pageant the Grand Finale of which will be held in the Month of June. Anjali, who is half Indian & half Russian, interacted with media to share this achievement of hers & also future plans she has for Chandigarh.
Anjali is an entrepreneur running a Talent Management Company & Modelling School – ‘Cocoaberry Ministry of Talent’ with her sister Ms Alesia Raut.  Anjali Raut Gill said that her company is more of a National training hub with its base in Mumbai and one centre in Chandigarh, catering to the North of India. She plan to strengthen operations of the Chandigarh Chapter of  her initiative. Her aim is discovering latent talents who are potential and need guidance, polishing and discovery of their true inner self.
Anjali added further that we are into talent hunting, & have given 6 finalists in Miss India 2017 from different states. The finalists are Miss India Jammu & Kashmir, Chhattisgarh, Jharkhand, Kerala, Karnataka & Madhya Pradesh. She is now very eager to mentor a face from Tricity for the prestigious Miss India Title.
Anjali Raut shared that the Academy in Chandigarh will focus on grooming young people and leading them in their direction of success, and at the moment she is working hard & preparing to compete in the Nationals of Mrs India World.
Anjali said that she has been a successful runway model before marriage & has been following her passion post her wedlock too. She has walked the ramp in ace fashion weeks like Lakme India, Wills Lifestyle and was also a finalist in Miss India 2010.
A very unique aspect about this beauty with brains is that she believes that along-with appearing good physically one need to also focus on spiritual well being. Anjali divulged that she practices Pranic healing & Nichiren Buddhism and has a spiritual side to her which helps her attain mind body soul alignment. 
Anjali further said that she desires to win the Mrs India World Crown as this will not just provide a huge fillip to her career, but will also empower her to reach out to people on a larger scale.
She said that she want to be an inspiration to all married women who want to etch out a name in pageants and the fashion field.


Misuse of Parking Area in Grain Market: SDM Received Complaints of Illegal Rehri Pharis

Chandigarh 22nd May:- The office of the S.D.M (Central & South) U.T., Chandigarh has received some complaints that in the Grain Market, Mandi Sector-26 Chandigarh, some defaulters are misusing the parking area near Chakki No.3 Mandi Sector-26 Chandigarh with the help of parking contractor and they are installing the illegal Subzi Rehri-pharis from 2.00 AM to 09.00 AM and collecting the money in an illegal way. In this regard the   S.D.M (C & S) U.T., Chandigarh is giving an opportunity to the citizens of the Chandigarh that if anybody wish to submit their grievance then they can appear before the S.D.M (C&S) on25-05-2017 at 11.00 AM in the S.D.M Central office, Sector-17 Chandigarh.
