Swaraj Tractors Glorifies Indian Farmers on Republic Day

Chandigarh 27^th Jan, 2020:- Swaraj Tractors, a part of the USD 20.7 billion Mahindra Group, has dedicated 71^st Republic day to the hardworking Indian Farmers, who are responsible for nourishing India.

As India’s first indigenous tractor brand, Swaraj tractor is synonymous with farm mechanization in India. It gives a new dimension to farmers with its power, authenticity and reliability. On the occasion of republic day the Swaraj Tractors released a short animated video, glorifying the Indian farmers and how the brand is closely associated with the farming community.  The video has been designed by Swaraj’s digital agency VMLY&R in line with the Swaraj brand’s positioning of - Mera Swaraj Made by the farmer for the farmer.

Sri V.P. Singh Rao's Examplary Book on History & Culture

Moti Ram School Celebrates Republic Day

Chandigarh 27^th Jan, 2020:- The Republic Day was celebrated in all its solemnity And grandeur at Moti Ram Arya Sr Sec Model School, Sector 27-A, Chandigarh on 26^th January 2020 in the school premises. The patriotic fervor warmed up the cold morning as the teachers and the students of the school enthusiastically   gathered to hoist the National Flag. This was followed by a medley of patriotic songs by the students. The students presented a rich tribute to the Nation in the form of a cultural programme. Later the Principal Dr. Seema Biji addressed the students and urged them to do their best and feel proud to be Indians. She ended with this quote

“Ask not what your country can do for you, Ask what you can do for your country.”

The School band got 3^rd Prize in 26^th January Parade  in sector -17, Chandigarh.

Chitkara University-Himachal Pradesh Launches MBA in Waste Management and Social Entrepreneurship

Baddi 27^th Jan, 2020:- Chitkara University has been identified by the Ministry of Human Resource Development to introduce MBA in Waste Management and Social Entrepreneurship. The program will not only support in providing employment to experts in Waste Management of Industrial sector but will also improve the quality of environment in the state of Himachal Pradesh. The program was launched by Dr. Madhu Chitkara, Pro-Chancellor, Chitkara University along with Major Shiva Kiran, MGNCRE, Hyderabad, Dr. Manoj Kumar Tiwari, Scientific Officer, Raja Ramanna Centre for Advanced Technology, Indore, Dr. Reena, ESI, Parwanoo, Ms. Samidha Bansal, Campaign Director, North India Daily Dump, Bangalore.

The exhibition cum industry-academia meet was organized as part of introducing MBA course on Waste Management and Social Entrepreneurship in association with Mahatma Gandhi National Council of Rural Education (MGNCRE), a unit of MHRD. The exhibitors and participants included experts from Waste Management Technology, Equipment Manufacturers and Suppliers, Regulatory Bodies, Utilities, Municipal Corporations, Pollution Control Board, Water and Sanitation Departments, Environmental Bodies, NGT, Corporate Facility Managers, NGOs, Recycling, Private Corporate Bigwigs, Associations of Hotels & Restaurants, Hospitals & Nursing Homes, Resorts, Residential Welfare, Real Estate, and Trade, and related personnel. The participants showcased working models of waste, sanitation, and hygiene management followed in their respective state or organization, specifically highlighting the employment and entrepreneurial opportunities in the waste management sector.

The University has been awarded at various platforms, ranks “Seventh” under Higher Educational Institutions PAN India under Swachhta Ranking for Higher Educational Institutions 2019 and is bestowed with Environment Leadership Award for two consecutive years, 2017 and 2018 by Government of Himachal Pradesh for its initiatives like paper recycling plant where 100% waste paper recycling is done to produce papers, folders, envelopes, and carry bags for on-campus usage. Hydroponic farming is done in the campus based on nutrient film technique thus producing vegetables and fruits for consumption within campus. Infrastructure design of the University supports natural air conditioning, energy absorbent buildings in terms of light and air efficiency to avoid air conditioners. University was also acknowledged for 100% waste water recycling by dual plumbing and effective and effluent treatment plant on the campus. Effective rain water harvesting pits for ground water recharge is in place that uses solar energy for electricity and water heating on a large scale and many more environment friendly initiatives.

Dr. Varinder S Kanwar, Vice Chancellor, Chitkara University said that University is always working effortlessly to promote the emerging trends in environmental conservation through various initiatives like community development programs, workshops and research projects and is an active member of Unnat Bharat Abhiyan and this is yet another initiative to give back to the Nation. The launch is an action towards the curb of job crunch as well as a promise to a more sustainable and breathable society. The students who will opt this line of study are not only going to get graduated academically but will turn out as sound minds with managerial skills which will serve the society from every vertex.

International Conference to be Inaugurated by Justice Sharad Arvind Bobde, Chief Justice of India on 1 st February

Chandigarh 27^th Jan, 2020:- In its own unique way to commemorate the 550th Birth Anniversary of Shri Guru Nanak Dev ji, the Bar Council of Punjab and Haryana is organizing a one-of-a-kind international conference themed on “philosophy of Shri Guru Nanak Dev Ji and its relevance today”.

The conference will be inaugurated by Justice Sharad Arvind Bobde, Chief Justice of India and shall be held on 1st and 2nd February in Panjab University, Chandigarh. While the Inaugural Session on February 1 will be held at 11 am at Gymnasium Hall, Panjab University, Sector 14, Chandigarh, the valedictory session will be held at Law Bhawan on February 2 at 12 noon.

Addressing media persons, Harpreet Singh Brar, Chairman (Bar Council of Punjab & Haryana) said that the main reason behind organizing this conference is to discuss Shri Guru Nanak Dev Ji’s philosophy and its applicability in Equity, Social Justice and Environment today.

The inaugural session will also witness the unveiling of a book – “The First Sikh – The Life and Legacy of Guru Nanak” written by Crawford professor, Nikky-Guninder Kaur Singh of Penguin Publication, U.K.

This will be followed by plenary session which will be chaired by Hon'ble Justice Surya Kant and presided over by Mrs. Justice Cheema Grubb. Five working sessions will be conducted in which the participating delegates, students and teachers from 118 Law Institutes will present papers on five different topics and the selected papers will be published in the Indian Bar Review published by Bar Council of India.

Each working session will be chaired by the Judge of the Punjab & Haryana High Court and Vice Chancellor of the different Universities. The conference will culminate on 2nd February 2020 with the valedictory session.

Eminent internationally renowned personalities who will grace the conference with their presence include Hon’ble Justice Surya Kant, Judge Supreme Court of India, Justice Rinzin Penjor, Supreme Court, Bhutan, Justice Cheema Grubb from England, Justice P.P. Surasena Supreme Court of Sri Lanka, Chief Justice of Punjab and Haryana Ravi Shanker Jha, Manan Mishra Chairman Bar Council of India, Horacio Bernardes Neto, President of International Bar Association, Michael A.N. N. Oquaye Esq. High Commissioner of Ghana, Justice Indira Banerjee, Judge Supreme court of India will chair the Valedictory Session.

Besides this, Global Achievement Award in Protection of Environment will be conferred to Balbir Singh Seechewal, Global Achievement Award in Social Service to SPS Oberoi, Global Achievement Award in Journalism to Baljit Balli and Global Achievement Award in Promotion of Punjabi Art Culture and Poetry to Padma Shri Surjit Patar.

Professor Pritam Singh from Oxford University would be the keynote speaker, eminent Scholars Professor Doris Jakobsh from Waterloo University and Dr. Mark Juergensmeyer from University of California would be plenary speakers, Ujjal Dosanjh, former Attorney General & Federal Minister of Canada and Harinam Singh Khalsa, renowned Kundalini Yoga Master and Sikh Preacher from New York, are among other speakers.

Law makers, Jurists, Diplomats, Scholars & Delegates from U.K. U.S.A., Canada, Australia, Malaysia, Singapore are likely to attend the conference. 71वें गणतंत्र दिवस पर भारतीय जनता पार्टी ने विभिन्न स्थानों पर ध्वजारोहण कार्यकर्मों का आयोजन किया

Chandigarh 27^th Jan, 2020:- देश के 71वें गणतंत्र दिवस पर भारतीय जनता पार्टी, चंडीगढ़ द्वारा शहर के विभिन्न स्थानों पर प्रदेश, जिला और मंडल स्तर तक ध्वजारोहण कार्यकर्मों का आयोजन किया गया| जिसमें पार्टी के प्रदेश अध्यक्ष अरुण सूद के अलावा प्रदेश पदाधिकारियों ने अलग अलग स्थानों पर राष्टीय ध्वज को फेहराया और सलामी दी|

गणतंत्र दिवस के कार्यक्रमों की जानकारी देते हुए मीडिया इंचार्ज रविंदर पठानिया ने बताया कि  गणतंत्र दिवस के शुभ अवसर पर ध्वजारोहण के कार्यक्रमों की शुरुआत पार्टी कार्यालय कमलम से हुई| सुबह 9 बजे प्रदेश अध्यक्ष अरुण सूद ने राष्टीय ध्वज को सलामी दी| इस अवसर पर पार्टी के संगठन मंत्री दिनेश कुमार, जिला नंबर 1 के जिला अध्यक्ष जतिंदर मल्होत्रा और जिला नंबर 3 के जिला अध्यक्ष रविंदर शर्मा, उपमहापौर जगतार सिंह जग्गा, पार्षद शक्ति प्रकाश देवशाली व् पार्टी के अन्य कार्यकर्ता उपस्तिथ थे|

इसके उपरांत जिला नंबर 4 के जिला अध्यक्ष मनीष भसीन के नेतृत्व में ध्वजारोहण कार्यक्रम का आयोजन किया गया जिसमे अरुण सूद, सांसद किरण खेर ने राष्ट्रीय ध्वज फहराया गया| इस अवसर पर पार्षद शक्ति प्रकाश देवशाली और दलीप शर्मा  उपस्तिथ थे| इ इसके पश्चात् सेक्टर 38 वेस्ट में भाजपा के जिला नंबर 2 के कार्यकर्ताओं ने वार्ड नंबर 8 की वेलफेयर रेजिडेंस एसोसिएशन के सहयोग से कार्यक्रम का आयोजन किया जिसमें अरुण सूद, महापौर राजबाला मालिक, वरिष्ठ उप महापौर रविकांत शर्मा, राष्ट्रीय कार्यकारणी सदस्य युवा मोर्चा अमिता राणा आदि ने भाग लिया| उधर जिला नंबर 2 के मंडल नंबर 10  और मंडल नंबर 11  मंडल अध्यक्ष  वरिंदर टम्टा और मंडल नंबर 9 के मंडल अध्यक्ष पंकज आज़ाद ने ध्वजा रोहण कार्यक्रम का आयोजन किया जिसमें पार्टी के प्रदेश महासचिव प्रेम कौशिक ने ध्वजा रोहण किया|

इसके अलावा जिला नंबर 2 के वार्ड नंबर 10 के अध्यक्ष दुर्योधन राणा और वार्ड नंबर 11 के सेक्टर 41 और सेक्टर 56 में भव्य कार्यक्रम का आयोजन किया गया| | जिसमें पार्टी के प्रदेश मीडिया इंचार्ज रविंदर पठानिया ने राष्ट्रीय ध्वज फहराया और सलामी दी| वार्ड नंबर 5ए इडब्ल्यूएस कॉलोनी धनास, वार्ड नंबर 7 के मलोया मस्जिद में भय कार्यक्रमों का आयोजन किया गया| जिसमें अरुण सूद, वरिष्ठ उप महापौर रविकांत शर्मा, पार्षद हाजी खुर्शीद, प्रदेश सचिन रमेश निक्कू, जिला उपाध्यक्ष श्रवण मिश्रा ने भाग लिया और लोगों के साथ मिलकर गणतंत्र दिवस की बधाई प्रदान की|

उपरोक्त सभी कार्यक्रमों में पार्टी के कार्यकर्ताओं द्वारा लड्डू वितरण किये गए और रंगारंग सास्कृतिक कार्यक्रमों का आयोजन भी किया गया| इस अवसर पर विभिन्न प्रतियोगिताओं का भी आयोजन किया गया जिसमे विजेता छात्रों को मुख्या अतिथि द्वारा पुरस्कृत भी किया गया|

गणतंत्र दिवस के शुभ अवसर पर प्रदेश अध्यक्ष अरुण सूद ने उपस्थित सभी लोगों और देशवासियों को गणतंत्र दिवस की बधाई प्रदान की और कहा कि वर्ष 1950 में देश को सम्पूर्ण प्रभुसत्ता संपन्न का दर्शा प्राप्त  हुआ था और हमें अपना संविधान मिला जिसके अंतर्गत हमें नागरिकता के अधिकार प्राप्त हुए| समय समय पर जरुरत के अनुरूप संविधान के कुछ अनुच्छेदों का संशोधन भी किया गया| हाल ही मैं नागरिकता संशोधन एक्ट में हुए बदलाव पर उन्होंने अपने विचार व्यक्त करते हुए कहा कि इस एक्ट को पहले प[पढ़ें और समझें कि यह नागरिकता देने वाला एक्ट है न कि नागरिकता छीनने वाला| ऐसे में किसी भी भारतीय नागरिक की नागरिकता को कहाँ से खतरा है| दरअसल देश के विपक्षी दाल केंद्र में मोदी सरकार के खिलाफ साजिशों को रच रहें हैं| देश के भितं भ्रम फैला रहे हैं और पुश्प्रचार कर रहे हैं| कई प्रदेशों में तो आगजनी और दंगा फसाद करवाने में भी नहीं चुके| ऐसा करके वो देश की जनता को गुमराह करने का प्रयास कर रहे हैं और देश के नागरिकों के हितों को टाक पर रख कर अपनी राजनैतिक रोटियां सेंकने में लगे हैं| उनका लक्ष्य प्रधानमंत्री नरेंदर मोदी की छवि को जनता के बीच ख़राब करने का है परन्तु ये लोग नहीं जानते कि  देश की अधिकांश जनता मोदी के साथ है और इस कानून को लेकर सरकार के साथ कंधे से कन्धा मिला कर चल रहे हैं| देश की जनता के बीच झूठ का प्रचार करने वाली राजनैतिक दलों का स्वयं ही पर्दाफाश हो रहा है और देश की जनता के बीच उनका असली चेहरा सामने आ रहा है| उनके षड्यंत्रों से अब जनता अपना मुँह मोड़ रही है और इस एक्ट को लेकर प्रधानमंत्री नरेंदर मोदी के साथ कड़ी है| उन्होंने सभी लोगों से अपीन करते हुए कहा कि स्वयं के अलावा हमें अन्यों को भी इस एक्ट के बारे में समझने की जरुरत है ताकि वे लोग देशहित और राष्ट्रहित के लिए कोई सकरात्मक फैसला ले सके|
