Chandigarh 09th March:- Today here in press club Spiritual Power Research Organization layed a first step in  the green city and provided a chance to our city to attain the blessings from Acharya Suresh Pushpakarun when he stepped in here and discussed about his journey towards world peace assisted with Reiki Master Inu Prashar.
According to Spiritual Power Research Organization Leaders Pt. Narender Sharma, Abhishek Malik and the followers who were present say  meditation is the not only way towards world peace. World peace is a very big term that includes resolution to all problems that we face in our day to day life either diseases, depressions, aggression and all other negative energies.

Spiritual Power Research Organization is planning More than 100 events in India in First Phase this year (most of them free of cost), So that maximum of people covering all major cities should be aware about the power of meditation and understand the energies around them and can control them to live a peaceful life. Reason beyond targeting major cities is because leaders say the people who require our help is in metro cities of India suffering from day to day stress, anxiety etc starting from our city.
Spiritual Power Research Organization own More than 400 Meditation And Reiki treatment centers in 50 different countries and soon going to launch about 100 in India under the leadership of R S Malik.

In the upcoming track, a competition called ‘Mumbai’s Got Talent’ is announced with a whooper grand prize of 50 lakhs to the winner. Everyone in Friends colony gets excited to participate in this competition. YARO (Aniruddh Dave) who’s first impression on Sanjana (Shubhi Ahuja) was not really good decides to take part with Sanjana so that he can impress her. To help YARO, Dolly promises him that she will convince Sanjana to be his partner. However, seeing this as a medium to earn money Amar, Prem and Dolly together start practicing day-in and day-out for the competition. Jumping on the opportunity, even Chaturvedi (Umesh Bajpayee) asks Beena Agarwal (Malini Kapoor) to join him in singing and dancing category. Beena agrees to participate with Chaturvedi which makes Agarwal (Rakesh Bedi) jealous. This competition has got a lot of enthusiasm and excitement for Friends Society members. Everyone is gearing up for this thrilling competition.
Commenting on the track, Aniruddh Dave who plays YARO said that this track is full of excitement where YARO will try hard to impress Sanjana. He thinks, the only way to win her heart is to participate and win the competition. He is experiencing love for the first time. The track is very romantic as well as competitive. It will be a treat for the audiences.

Official Trailer of Punjabi Thriller Movie KAWELA Released

Chandigarh 09th March:- The official trailer of first ever Punjabi psychological thriller movie KAWELA has been released today at Chandigarh press club. This film is written and directed by Amanjit singh Brar. Even another Punjabi movie “Jugni hath kise na aauni “releasing this week is being directed by Amanjit Singh Brar.
While interacting with media Amanjit singh Brar said that all the artists of the film from theatre department. The world wide famous name in photography Harp Farmer will be seen as lead star which is worth mentioning and the key attraction of the movie. He further said that it is neither romantic movie nor comedy like other Punjabi movies. This is an imaginary movie. Its music is quite different from other Punjabi movies, music is given by Gurmoh. Songs are from the pen of Sant Kabir ji, Dr Surjit Patar and himself.
Gagandeep Singh has worked as Director of Photography in the film who is famous DOP in Mumbai.
This is a psychological thriller Art movie. It is about People, Time, Punjab, and Present & Past, which all affects our future. It is a story of four days four nights. But it covers the whole lifetime of characters in such ways. To understand story we have to live the whole film, like whole team, every actor lived it.   
KAWELA is being scheduled to worldwide release under the banner of Old Post Office Street Films, Dogar Wala Khoo Films and Harp Farmer Pictures on 31st March 2017. 



International Women's Day:PGI organises Panel Discussion on 'Women's Health is Important'

Chandigarh 09th March:- On the occasion of International Women's Day, PGI organized a panel discussion 'Women's Health is Important' at the Bhargava Auditorium. The Director of the institute, Prof S.C.Varma presided over the discussion. In his opening address, he emphasized the importance of the topic and how health of women in a society influenced the health of the society in general.
Prof Neelam aggarwal from the department of Gynaecology and Obstetrics deliberated on reproductive health of women from puberty till menopause and how education of women could empower women to make better choices and improve their reproductive health. Madhu Sharma, former chief Dietician of the institute discussed healthy eating habits, food fads, myths about diet and the importance of diet in maintaining good health right from childhood.
Prof Sandeep Grover from Department of Psychiatry discussed different aspects of mental health in women, particularly in modern society and how to tackle such problems.
Prof Savita Kumari from Department of Internal Medicine talked about common health problems in women, the relationship between healthy diet and good health, the importance of seeking medical help early in the course of the disease and treatment compliance.
Prof F.D. Patel, former Prof of department of Radiotherapy discussed about common cancers in women, the causes of cancer, early warning signs and screening of cancer breast and uterine cervix. The session was attended by students and staff of PGI and also several citizens of Chandigarh.

Public Health Symposium in PGI Brings Together Policymakers

Chandigarh 09th March:- Public health and communication experts and policymakers gather in the two-day 3rd Public Health Symposium at Postgraduate Institute of Medical Education and Research (PGI), organized by the School of Public Health, PGI. The focus of this symposium is on ‘Health Promotion’; with a theme ‘Ensuring health lives and promotes well-being for all at all ages’.  
Welcoming the participants, Dr. Rajesh Kumar, Professor and Head, School of Public Health said that this symposium will result in actionable policy recommendations. He added that all sectors, not just the health sector, need to contribute to health promotion. For example, policymakers in Chandigarh have much to contribute to making the city not only beautiful, but also the first healthy city in India. In his key note speech, Director of PGI, Dr. Subhash Verma, highlighted that more importance should be given to preventive and promotive aspects of health. We must start from the very beginning starting from home, school and society in general.
The symposium was inaugurated by the Mayor of Chandigarh, Asha Jaswal said that Chandigarh Municipal Corporation tries to make Swacch Bharat Abhiyan a Jan Andolan (people’s movement). Unless we have clean city, we can’t think of a healthy city. She was open for suggestions and concrete and innovative ideas from the symposium that can be used by policymakers.
Dr. Sanjeev Kumar, Executive Director, NHSRC, stressed that as health scenario is changing rapidly, we need to change our orientation and start working with other sectors, and change our focus from disease to population as a whole”, and emphasized the need to focus on health outcome framework for health promotion in a comprehensive manner.
Several speakers acknowledged the power of media in promoting health. Media has an enormous power in influencing the health of communities”, acknowledged Prof. Dr. Sanjay Wadwalkar, Punjab University, but pointed out that there are very few media persons who are trained or focus on health.
Dr. Brian Joseph, Commissioner, Law Reform Commission of Nova Scotia, shared his experiences from Canada and pointed out that Intersectoral coordination is a challenge in India and abroad and added that much needs to be done in different sectors often in a limited time, which is the most important constraint.”
Dr. Mirai Chatterjee, Director, SEWA, emphasised that health promotion should be put on the public agenda like education, and health promotion training should be strengthened for grass-root level health educators such as ASHA.
In the session on health literacy, Dr. Manmeet Kaur, PGI, presented results from a recent pilot study which found that health literacy levels in Chandigarh and Punjab were much lower than that among most Asian and European countries. She expressed that, “Providing information alone is not sufficient, it is critical to enable people to understand and apply it.” Talking about the importance of people-to-people communication, Bhawani Tripathy, UNICEF, said that leadership and governance are lacking for bringing about the desired change to promote health. People-to-people communication is more effective than other media and also sustainable to achieve health promotion.
Experts like Dr. Sanjay Badwalker acknowledged that it is easy to talk about behaviour change but very difficult to bring about change.
Talking about the role of Information Technology, J.S. Sahota, General Manager, BSNL, “BSNL has started Optical Fibre Network in several villages of Punjab – which are likely to improve health literacy levels as well.
Dr. Shivinder, National Health Mission, Punjab, presented highlights of Punjab government’s contribution to health promotion through Sehat Jagrukta Muhim (Health Insights Campaigns) in Punjab using several hundred publicity vans.

ਵਧੀਕ ਜਿਲ੍ਹਾ ਚੋਣ ਅਫਸਰ ਨੇ ਜਿਲ੍ਹਾ ਪ੍ਰਬੰਧਕੀ ਕੰਪਲੈਕਸ ਦੀ ਤੀਜੀ ਮੰਜਿਲ ਤੇ  ਵੋਟਾਂ ਦੀ ਗਿਣਤੀ ਵਾਲੇ ਦਿਨ ਪੱਤਰਕਾਰਾਂ ਦੀ ਸਹੂਲਤ ਲਈ ਬਣਾਏ ਗਏ ਮੀਡੀਆ ਸੈਂਟਰ ਦਾ ਜਾਇਜਾ ਵੀ ਲਿਆ। ਚਰਨਦੇਵ ਸਿੰਘ ਮਾਨ ਨੇ ਦੱਸਿਆ ਕਿ 11 ਮਾਰਚ ਨੂੰ ਵੋਟਾਂ ਦੀ ਗਿਣਤੀ ਸਵੇਰੇ 08:00 ਵਜੇ ਤੋਂ ਸ਼ੂਰੂ ਹੋ ਜਾਵੇਗੀ ਜਦਕਿ ਵੋਟਾਂ ਦੀ ਗਿਣਤੀ ਵਾਲਾ ਕਾਉਟਿੰਗ ਸਟਾਫ ਤਿੰਨੋਂ ਵਿਧਾਨ ਸਭਾ ਹਲਕਿਆਂ ਲਈ ਬਣਾਏ ਗਏ ਵੱਖਰੇ-ਵੱਖਰੇ ਕਾਊਟਿੰਗ ਹਾਲ ਵਿੱਚ ਸਵੇਰੇ 07:00 ਵਜੇ ਆਪਣੀ ਹਾਜਰੀ ਨੂੰ ਯਕੀਨੀ ਬਣਾਵੇਗਾ ਤਾਂ ਜੋ ਵੋਟਾਂ ਦੀ ਗਿਣਤੀ ਮਿੱਥੇ ਸਮੇਂ ਤੇ ਸ਼ੁਰੂ ਹੋ ਸਕੇ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੱਸਿਆ ਕਿ ਹਰੇਕ ਵਿਧਾਨ ਸਭਾ ਹਲਕੇ ਲਈ ਕਾਉਟਿੰਗ ਹਾਲਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ 14-14 ਟੇਬਲ ਗਿਣਤੀਕਾਰਾਂ ਲਈ ਲਗਾਏ ਗਏ ਹਨ ਅਤੇ ਹਰੇਕ ਵਿਧਾਨ ਸਭਾ ਹਲਕੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਵੋਟਾ ਦੀ ਗਿਣਤੀ ਲਈ  20 ਸੁਪਰਵਾਇਜਰ, 20 ਕਾਉਟਿੰਗ ਅਸਿਸਟੈਂਟ ਅਤੇ 20 ਮਾਇਕਰੋ ਅਬਜਰਵਰ ਲਗਾਏ ਗਏ ਹਨ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੱਸਿਆ ਕਿ ਕਾਉਟਿੰਗ ਸਟਾਫ ਨੂੰ ਵੋਟਾ ਦੀ ਗਿਣਤੀ ਦੀ ਇੱਕ ਰਿਹਰਸਲ ਪਹਿਲਾ ਕਰਵਾਈ ਗਈ ਹੈ ਜਦਕਿ ਦੂਜੀ ਰਿਹਰਸਲ 10 ਮਾਰਚ ਭਲਕੇ ਕਰਵਾਈ ਜਾਵੇਗੀ ਤਾਂ ਜੋ ਕਾਉਟਿੰਗ ਸਟਾਫ ਨੂੰ ਵੋਟਾ ਦੀ ਗਿਣਤੀ ਵੇਲੇ ਕਿਸੇ ਕਿਸਮ ਦੀ ਦਿੱਕਤ ਪੇਸ਼ ਨਾਂ ਆਵੇ। 
ਵਧੀਕ ਜਿਲ੍ਹਾ ਚੋਣ ਅਫਸਰ ਨੇ ਦੱਸਿਆ ਕਿ ਵੋਟਾਂ ਦੀ ਗਿਣਤੀ  ਵੇਲੇ ਜਿਲ੍ਹੇ ' ਪੈਂਦੇ ਤਿੰਨ ਵਿਧਾਨ ਸਭਾ ਹਲਕਿਆਂ ਲਈ ਮੁੱਖ ਚੋਣ ਕਮਿਸ਼ਨ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਤਾਇਨਾਤ ਤਿੰਨ ਅਬਜਰਵਰ ਵੀ ਕਾਉਟਿੰਗ ਹਾਲਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਮੌਜੂਦ ਰਹਿਣਗੇ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੱਸਿਆ ਕਿ ਵਿਧਾਨ ਸਭਾ ਹਲਕਾ 052-ਖਰੜ੍ਹ ਲਈ ਪੂਨਮ ਪਰਭਾ ਪੂਰਤੀ ਨੂੰ ਅਬਜਰਵਰ  ਨਿਯੁਕਤ ਕੀਤਾ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ, ਹਲਕਾ 053- ਐਸ. . ਐਸ. ਨਗਰ ਲਈ ਰਾਜੀਵ ਰੰਜਨ ਅਤੇ 112-ਡੇਰਾਬਸੀ ਲਈ ਪ੍ਰਤਾਪ ਨਰਾਇਣ ਯਾਦਵ ਨੂੰ ਅਬਜਰਵਰ ਨਿਯੁਕਤ ਕੀਤਾ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ। ਇਸ ਮੋਕੇ ਐਸ.ਪੀ.ਸੁਰੱਖਿਆ ਅਤੇ ਟਰੈਫਿਕ ਹਰਬੀਰ ਸਿੰਘ ਅਟਵਾਲ ਨੇ ਦੱਸਿਆ ਕਿ ਵੋਟਾ ਦੀ ਗਿਣਤੀ ਦੇ ਮੱਦੇਨਜਰ ਸਖਤ ਸੁਰੱਖਿਆ ਪ੍ਰਬੰਧ ਕੀਤੇ ਗਏ ਹਨ ਤਾਂ ਜੌ ਵੋਟਾਂ ਦੀ ਗਿਣਤੀ ਅਮਨ ਅਮਾਨ ਨਾਲ ਨੇਪਰੇ ਚੜ੍ਹ ਸਕੇ। ਇਸ ਮੌਕੇ ਰਿਟਰਨਿੰਗ ਅਫਸਰ ਵਿਧਾਨ ਸਭਾ ਹਲਕਾ ਡੇਰਾਬਸੀ, ਕੁਮਾਰੀ ਰੂਹੀ ਦੁੱਗ ਅਤੇ ਹੋਰ ਅਧਿਕਾਰੀ ਵੀ ਮੌਜੂਦ ਸਨ 



एस बी आई ने “Fx Out” नामक सुविधा की लांच

Chandigarh 09th March:- भारतीय स्‍टेट बैंक  अपने ग्राहकों की सुविधा के लिए अपनी सभी शाखाओं में “Fx Out” नाम का एक नया उत्‍पाद लेकर आया है इस सुविधा के अंतर्गत अब ग्राहक एसबीआई की किसी भी शाखा से 25000 यूएस डॉलर या इसके बराबर की राशि विदेश में भेज सकते हैं पहले यह सुविधा प्राधिकृत चुनिंदाशाखाओं में ही उपलब्‍ध थी एनआरआई ग्राहकों के एनआरई खातों में भी यह सुविधा उपलब्‍ध है
यह सुविधा यूटी चंडीगढ़, पंजाब, हरियाणा, हिमाचल प्रदेश तथा  जम्‍मू एवं कश्‍मीर में एसबीआई की सभी शाखाओं में उपलब्‍ध है
