Moti Ram School organizes Workshop on Experiential Learning

Chandigarh, 10th Jan 2020:- Moti Ram Arya Sr Sec Model School, Chd organized  workshop on Experiential Learning with the support of Collins publishers which strives to promote holistic development of children of all ages in school premises only. For the teachers Experiential learning is a creative approach to the modern curriculum which is an effective tool in engaging the children to become efficient learners. Ms Shardha Anand an author, Teachers Trainer, editor an entrepreneur was the resource person. Almost 85 teachers from both branches of MRA i.e Chandigarh & Panchkula attended the workshop and gained the best out of this workshop. Teachers participated in various activities conducted by the resource person so as to make teachers learn how to engage students in the class by making their lessons more creative and effective. The workshop was ended up in a productive way.
At the end Dr. Seema Biji Principal Moti Ram Arya Sr Sec Model School motivated the teachers to use experiential learning as a technique in their classrooms to make teaching learning process more effective.

Grooming Sessions of Mrs. Chandigarh- A Woman of Substance 2019 Beauty Pageant Start & Grand Finale will be Held on January 12

Zirakpur, 10th Jan 2020:- The two days grooming sessions for the 2nd edition of Mrs. Chandigarh -A Woman of Substance, 2019 kicked off at Park Plaza, here. Experts held several sessions to hone the skills of the 29 finalists, who will walk down the ramp for the coveted title on January 12 at Park Plaza, Zirakpur.
The event is being organised by Neha Julka Arora, who is the brain behind ‘Mrs. Chandigarh- A Woman of Substance’ and founder of Bombshell Creations under whose banner, the beauty pageant is being held and who was also the winner of the title ‘Mrs. Punjab- Pride of Nation 2016’.
Speaking on the occasion, Neha Julka Arora, said that the Grand Finale of Mrs. Chandigarh – A Woman of Substance will be held on Jan 12, 2020, at Hotel Park Plaza, Zirakpur. Before the D-Day two days’ grooming sessions are being held, to train the aspirants about all the pageantry aspects. These will polish the skills of the divas for the grand finale.
 In a unique session Mohita Saxena who is an educationist & blogger taught the finalists about ‘Social Media Usage’. She briefed the ladies that in the modern world, social media has become a potent weapon for promotion and creating awareness amongst the target audience. She added that celebrities and those in the public domain need to be well trained in digital media usage as if a wrong content goes up it becomes a big issue which can create unwanted trouble. She gave valuable tips about the right way to develop and put up content on social media handles.
Drifting forward at the sessions, Neha Julka Arora, who is also the show director of ‘Mrs. Chandigarh- A Woman of Substance’ taught the nuances of stage introduction, soft skills and ramp walk.  Whille Deepika, an internationally certified makeup artist took a session on ‘Basic Makeup’. The professional team of Tress Lounge Academy was also involved in this.
 Following the session, Dr. Seema Sharma, a gynaecologist from Cloudnine Hospital gave useful tips on the subject ‘Better Care of Women in a Changing World’, while Dr. Geeta Kalra, a dentist from Kalra Dental Solutions gave a talk on ‘Oral Hygiene & Dental Care’ to add a sparkle to the finalists’ smiles.
In an informative session a senior advocate Paul S. Saini spoke about ‘Relationship Dispute Management’. On Day 2–January 11, 2020, which is the concluding day for grooming sessions, some very interesting sessions are planned.

Taj Chandigarh Begins its Lohri Fest from 10th to 19th January 2020

Chandigarh, 10th Jan 2020:- Taj Chandigarh begins the New Year with its Lohri Feast that brings to the table relished winter cuisine of the Punjab region. The warm gourmet menu offers respite from the cold wave with lunch and dinner at Dera from 10th to 19th January 2020 
Chef Ranvijay, executive Chef of Taj Chandigarh tells us that the menu has played around with a lot of winter harvests. Ingredients like peanuts, sesame seeds, sarson seeds, have been used in many dishes, while winter specials like turnips, green choliya, white radish and jackfruit have also been given their due attention.
The appetisers offer gems like hara matter aur choliye ki tikki, tandoori chooza and the very popular crispy mustard fish. The main course takes guests on an epicurean roller coaster with kathal ki kadi and singadhay aur choliya ki sabzi on one hand, and mutton shabhdaigh and batr masala on the other. यू एफ ओ डिजिटल मीडिया के खिलाफ प्रोडक्शन हाउस ने खोला मोर्चा: क्षेत्रीय भाषा फिल्मो को नही देते तवज्जो यू एफ ओ डिजिटल मीडिया और स्क्रैबल

Chandigarh, 10th Jan 2020:- यू एफ डिजिटल मीडिया और उसकी सिस्टर कंसर्न स्क्रैबल क्षेत्रीय भाषाओं के साथ भेदभाव करती है। इनसे थिएटर में लगवाने के चार्जेज तो ले लेती है, पर फ़िल्म को निर्धारित समय पर लगा कर 2-3 दिन बाद सिनेमा हॉल में लगवाती है। इससे प्रोडक्शन हाउस को केवल आर्थिक नुकसान होता है, बल्कि उसे मानसिक नुकसान भी उठाना पड़ता है। यह कहना है फ़िल्म प्रोड्यूसर संजय मठारू और किंग्ज़ी छाछी एवम डायरेक्टर हरप्रीत मठारू और फ़िल्म के हीरो और पंजाबी सिंगर इंदरजीत निक्कू का।
पंजाबी मूवी जान तो प्यारा की स्टार कास्ट और प्रोडक्शन टीम ने आज एक प्रेस कॉन्फ्रेंस के दौरान यू एफ डिजिटल मीडिया और उसकी सिस्टर कंसर्न स्क्रैबल पर आरोप लगाते हुए कहा कि इनके साथ उनकी फिल्म को 03 जनवरी 2020 को सिनेमाघर में लगवाने के एग्रीमेंट हुआ था ।लेकिन यू एफ ने निर्धारित दिन और समय पर फ़िल्म लगवा कर इसे 01 दिन बाद सिनेमाघरों में लगवाया।जबकि के सेरा सिटी और क्यूब पर ये 04 जनवरी को रिलीज हुई थी।लेकिन इनके पी वी आर और अन्य प्लेटफार्म पर ये 05 जनवरी को रिलीज हुई। जिससे प्रोडक्शन हाउस को देर से रिलीज होने पर आर्थिक नुकसान उठाना पड़ा। फ़िल्म के हीरो विख्यात पंजाबी गायक इंदरजीत निक्कू ने कहा कि ये मीडिया हाउस पहले भी कई बार ऐसा कर चुका है। ये बड़े बैनर और बड़े बजट की फ़िल्म को तरजीह देते है, उन्हें 12-13 शो दे दिए जाते है। जबकि क्षेत्रीय छोटे बजट और नई स्टारकास्ट की फ़िल्म के साथ भेदभाव करते हुए इन्हें सिनेमाघरों में लगवाने के लिए आनाकानी करते है।
फ़िल्म के प्रोड्यूसर संजय मठारू ने कहा कि इनके द्वारा छोटे बजट की फिल्मो को सिंगल स्क्रीन थिएटर में लगवा दिया जाता है, जबकि मल्टीप्लेक्स में उन्हें जगह ही नही दी जाती
जबकि ये मीडिया हाउस चार्जेज उनके बराबर ही लेते है। तो फिर ऐसा भेदभाव क्यों। उन्होंने अपने साथ हुए इस धोखे और धक्के को लेकर जब यू एफ के अधिकारियों से बात की तो उन्होंने उनकी एक सुनी। जिससे आहत होकर उन्होंने मीडिया का सहारा लेना मुनासिब समझा, ताकि क्षेत्रीय भाषाओं की फिल्मों के साथ हो रहे भेदभाव को उजागर कर उभरते प्रोडक्शन हाउस को आगाह कर सके, और इन्हें सबक सिखा सके।

स्टेप्स ग्रोइंग एकेडमी ने रिलीज किया बेबी और जूनियर सुपर किड मॉडल-2020 का कैलेंडर

Chandigarh, 10th Jan 2020:- स्टेप्स ग्रोइंग एकेडमी चंडीगढ़ की ओर से आज बेबी और  जूनियर सुपर किड मॉडल-2020 के कैलेंडर को रिलीज़ किया गया। कैलेंडर को प्रतियोगी बेबी ध्वनि महाजन ने रिलीज़ किया। बेबी कैलेंडर में यहाँ 0 से 04 आयु वर्ग के बेबीज को भी शामिल किया है, तो वहीँ जूनियर सुपर किड मॉडल में 05 से 12 आयु वर्ग के बच्चों को शामिल किया गया है। वहीँ इस मौके पर इन्ही आयु वर्ग तक के बच्चों की एक रैंप वॉक का भी आयोजन किया गया।
स्टेप्स ग्रोइंग एकेडमी की निदेशक शिवि महाजन और प्रबंध निदेशक गौरव महाजन ने बताया कि उनकी एकेडमी की ओर से 0 से 04 आयु वर्ग के बेबीज का कैलेंडर दूसरी बार और 05 से 12 आयु वर्ग तक के बच्चों का कैलेंडर पांचवी बार प्रस्तुत किया जा रहा है। उन्होंने बताया कि इन कैलेंडर कि विशेषता ये है कि कॉन्सेप्चुअल (वैचारिक ) रूप से तैयार किये गए है। दोनों ही कैलेंडर में मॉडल्स की 2-2 फोटोज को शामिल किया गया है, जिसमे एक इंडोर और एक आउटडोर तैयार की गयी है
गौरव महाजन के अनुसार आउटडोर में यहाँ गाँवों, पार्क्स, बिल्डिंग्स और मार्केट्स में फोटो शूट किया गया है। वहीँ इंडोर में एकेडमी में ही फोटो शूट किया गया है। उन्होंने बताया कि कैलेंडर में यहाँ 0 से 04 आयु वर्ग में ध्वनि महाजन, अन्वी गुप्ता और इनाया मिन्हास है, वहीँ 05 से 12 आयु वर्ग में मनमुदित मेहरा, भक्ति गोयल, चारवी अरोड़ा, कनिष्का भगत, माइरा मक्कर, अभय भगत, अद्विती सिंह, दृष्टि बंसल, मानवी शर्मा, यशराज पाल, जसप्रीत कौर और श्रेया गौतमी मॉडल्स है
शिवि महाजन ने बताया कि अद्विती सिंह, मानवी शर्मा, चारवी अरोड़ा, कनिष्का भगत और मनमुदित मेहरा उनकी एकेडमी से पिछले 04 साल से जुड़े हुए है। तकरीबन ये सभी बच्चे पंजाबी फिल्मों और नेशनल चैनल में अपनी एक्टिंग, मॉडलिंग से अपने हुनर का जलवा बिखेर रहे है
उन्होंने बताया कि उनका उद्देशय बच्चों को एक ऐसा मंच प्रदान करना है जिसके माध्यम से वो अपना हुनर अपनी कला ज़माने के आगे पेश कर सके और देश विदेश में एक ऊँचा मुकाम हासिल करे। शिवि के अनुसार उनका मकसद पिछले साल के कैलेंडर के 12सुपर मॉडल्स कि अचीवमेंट्स को भी हाईलाइट  कर इन बच्चों को प्रोत्साहित करना है
