NIPM Holds Session on Changes in Pension Scheme & PF

Chandigarh 14th June:- National Institute of Personnel Management, (NIPM), Punjab Chapter, a nonprofit making organization of HR Professionals organized a session on "Latest Changes in Employee Pension Scheme and New Initiative by EPFO" and also elected their new Team.
Ashim Chhabra, Assistant PF Commissioner Chandigarh and his colleague Lokesh Gupta were Chief Guest and speaker on the occasion. 50 HR and managers and Pensioners attended and got benefited from the seminar. 
Ashim Chhabra emphasized upon the various changes that have been brought with regard to Pension Scheme and EPF. 
Later, The Punjab Chapter unanimously elected Executive Body SP Bansal-Chairman, DR Madan M Singh-Vice Chairman, Ravinder Chadha-Vice Chairman, A k Bakshi-Hon Secretary, Jasbir Singh-Hon. Treasurer] Executive Members-PK Verma, SP Singh Bhalla ,Capt. Naresh Kakkar, Ms Parul Jindal  and L K Sharma.

Axis Bank Introducing ‘Axis Aha!’: An AI-led Virtual Assistant to Enhance Online Customer Experience

Chandigarh 14th June:- Conversational Banking’ has turned a new leaf with the launch of ‘Axis Aha!’, an efficient virtual assistant powered by cutting-edge technology which includes proprietary Artificial Intelligence and machine learning algorithms. This unique chatbot provides relevant and contextual responses to customer queries and even helps make transactions on the chat window itself. Customers can initiate transactions either through voice or chat. This transactional innovation is a ground-breaking way to enable customers to execute transactions, explore products and avail banking services using simple words used in our daily conversations.
Currently hosted on the home page of the Bank website, www.axisbank.com, ‘Axis Aha!’ is capable of performing diverse actions like fund transfer, bill payments, recharges and also manage card limits, block credit and debit cards, besides others. The voice and chat interface also provides customers an opportunity to query on any of his banking needs. Axis Aha is a part of the Bank’s continuous endeavor to simplify banking by through the extensive use of technology. This interface will gradually be extended to the Mobile banking app and the Internet banking application.
Sharing his thoughts on the launch of ‘Axis Aha!’, Praveen Bhatt, Head -Digital Banking & Customer Experience, Axis Bank, said that the launch of ‘Axis Aha!’ takes the customer-centricity approach of the bank to an entirely different level as it lays a very strong foundation for artificial intelligence based voice and chat enabled ‘conversational banking’. In a time starved world, Axis Aha with its unique action orientation offers customers the benefit of completing simple transactions either through voice or chat in the very moment without having to navigate through any other channel.

सिया इंडस्ट्रियल एरिया में आयोजित करेगा मेडिकल कैंप

Chandigarh 14th June:- चंडीगढ़ इंडस्ट्रियल यूथ एसोसिएशन की तरफ से कल दिनांक 15.06.2018 को शिव मंदिर इंडस्ट्रियल एरिया एरिया फेस 2 चंडीगढ़ में हेल्थ चेकअप कैंप का आयोजन किया जा रहा है।
चंडीगढ़ इंडस्ट्रियल यूथ एसोसिएशन के प्रधान मनीष निगम ने बताया की चंडीगढ़ इंडस्ट्रियल यूथ एसोसिएशन का इस नेक काम में स्टार हेल्थ एंड अलाइड इंश्योरेंस कंपनी लिमिटेड और Max सुपर स्पेशलिस्ट हॉस्पिटल मोहाली के द्वारा सहयोग से किया जा रहा है।
चंडीगढ़ इंडस्ट्रियल यूथ एसोसिएशन के प्रेस सचिव दीपक शर्मा ने बताया कि इंडस्ट्रियल एरिया में यह पहला ऐसा कैंप लगाया जा रहा है, इसका मकसद यही है कि यहां की फैक्ट्रियों में काम करने वाले वर्करों को भी सुविधाएं मिले। वह अपना चेकअप करवा सके। इस कैंप में BP, शुगर, पीएफटी ईसीजी  आंखों और दांतो का  चेकअप व जनरल मेडिसिन कंसल्टेशन की सुविधाएं प्रदान की जाएंगी। उन्होंने बताया की औद्योगिक क्षेत्र में इस तरह की पहल चंडीगढ़ इंडस्ट्रियल यूथ एसोसिएशन के द्वारा की जा रही है और आगे भी इस तरह के नेक काम एसोसिएशन के द्वारा किए जायेंगे।

World Blood Donors Day: Alchemist Hospital Holds Blood Donation Camp

Chandigarh 14th June:- The 60 units of blood were collected during a blood donation camp to mark World Blood Donors Day at Alchemist Hospital, Panchkula today.
Speaking during occasions, Dr G P Saluja,  senior consultant-Blood Bank said that the main objective of camp was to raise awareness of the need for regular blood donations to ensure the quality, safety and availability of blood and blood components  for patients in need.
Transfusion of blood and blood components helps save millions of lives every year. It can help patients suffering from life-threatening conditions. He said that it also has an essential, life-saving role in maternal and child care and during the emergency response to man-made and natural disasters.
Dr G P Saluja remarked that a blood service that gives patients access to safe blood and blood components in sufficient quantity is a key component of an effective health system. An adequate supply can only be ensured through regular donations by voluntary, unpaid blood donors. However, in many countries, blood services face the challenge of making sufficient blood available, while also ensuring its quality and safety.

PGI Celebrates World Blood Donor Day

Chandigarh 14th June:- The Department of Transfusion Medicine, PGIMER, Chandigarh celebrated World Blood Donor Day on June 14, 2018 by organizing three blood donation camps at Punjab Raj Bhawan in the state of art facility "Blood Mobile Van" inaugurated by Governor Punjab  & Administration, U.T., Chandigarh V.P. Badnore. He appreciated the state of the art facility of blood mobile van which is unique in its public outreach for the promotion of volunteer blood donation.
Second blood donation camp was at Bridge Market, Sector 17, Chandigarh organized by Shree Shiv Kanwar Mahasangh Charitable Trust, Regd., Panchkula also inaugurated by Honorable Governor of Punjab and honored Plateletpheresis & whole blood donors on this occasion. Third blood donation camp was at "Blood Donation Centre" in Advanced Trauma Centre in PGIMER, Chandigarh. Voluntary blood donors were facilitated by mementoes, certificates and pens as a token of appreciation. Around 300 units of blood were collected on this occasion.

TCWA is organizing 173rd and 174th Blood Donation Camps

Chandigarh 14th June:- Thalassaemic Children Welfare Association (Regd.) Chandigarh is organizing 173rd Blood Donation Camp in Zakir Hall, Block–A, PGI Chandigarh on June 16, 2018 (Saturday). This Blood Donation Camp will be inaugurated by Dr. S.S. Bhamra, Past District Cabinet Secretary-Lions Club, District 321 A2.
The Association is also organizing 174th Blood Donation Camp in Blood Bank, Level-2, Block-D, GMCH-32 Chandigarh on June 17, 2018 (Sunday). This Blood Donation Camp will be inaugurated by Dr. B.S. Chavan, Director-Principal, Govt. Medical College & Hospital, Sector 32 Chandigarh. 
Both Blood Donation Camps are organizing to commemorate the World Blood Donor’s Day.   Rajinder Kalra, General Secretary requested voluntary blood donors and social organizations dedicated towards this noble mission to participate/donate blood in these blood donation camps to save the lives of thalassaemics and other needy patients.
