चंडीगढ़ कार डीलर्स ने राम दरबार में कार बाजार न लगाने का लिया फैसला: अपराधिक एरिया होने कि वजह से कार डीलर्स ने लिया फैसला

Chandigarh 24th April:- चंडीगढ़ कार डीलर एसोसिएशन आज कार डीलर्स कि हुई एक अहम् बैठक में निकट भविष्य में रामदरबार में प्रत्येक रविवार को लगने वाले कार बाजार को नगर निगम द्वारा सुनिश्चित किये गए स्थान पर कार बाजार न लगाने का फैसला किया है। ऐसा उन्होंने कार डीलर्स की सुरक्षा को लेकर किया है ।
चंडीगढ़ कार डीलर एसोसिएशन के नव निर्वाचित प्रधान गुलशन कुमार ने यहाँ ज़ारी प्रेस रिलीज़ में कहा कि नगर निगम द्वारा जो कार बाजार के लिए एरिया और स्थान सुनिश्चित किया है, वो सुरक्षा के लिहाज़ से सही नहीं है। क्यों कि हाल ही में इस जगह पर कार पार्किंग को लेकर एक हत्या हुयी थी। दूसरा कार बाजार के दौरान कार डीलर्स के पास कैश भी इकठा होता है, राम दरबार एरिया अपराधिक एरिया भी माना जाता है । जिसकी रिपोर्ट एरिया के एस एच ओ भी अपने उच्च अधिकारियो को दे चुके है कि रामदरबार एरिया सुरक्षित क्षेत्र में नहीं आता।  गुलशन कुमार ने कहा कि इस से पहले कार बाजार हाई प्रोफाइल एरिया में लगता था, यहाँ पर उच्च और मध्यम स्तर के कस्टमर्स आते थे। लेकिन यहाँ पर इनकी आवक खतम हो गयी है, जिस कारण बिज़नेस काफी हद तक परभावित हुआ है। जिस कारण कार डीलर्स के दिल में डर बैठ गया है । इस लिए सभी कार डीलर्स ने एक मत से फैसला लिया है कि रविवार को राम दरबार में कार बाजार नहीं लगाया जायेगा।

Chandigarh Music and Film Festival from April 27: Several Prominent Bollywood Celebrity to Join

Chandigarh 24th April:- The Chandigarh Music and Film Festival (CMFF), is proud to announce its 1st year programming line-up from 27th-29th April in the tri-city. The festival will feature several prominent Bollywood celebrities including Subhash Ghai, Satish Kaushik, Mahi Gill, Khayali Saharan, and Raza Murad among others. CMFF is providing an opportunity to the people of Chandigarh to experience films as an art and expand participants’ worldview through film screenings and filmmaker discussions. Chandigarh University will host the festival for the first 2 days and the final day of the festival will happen at the PVR Cinemas in Elante Mall, Chandigarh. The timings for the same will be from 10 am to 6 pm for all 3 days.
The 3-day festival aims at providing not only a common platform for the cinema of the world to showcase their best film but also understand different film cultures across the globe. This film festival platform also exhibits tremendous potentialities and abilities of youth. The main objective of CMFFis to fulfil the cultural gap of the community of Chandigarh by introducing a Film Festival as per international standards.

Impact Arts is organizing One Day Theatre Festival “ASHARFIYAAN”

Chandigarh 24th April:- Impact Arts (regd.) is organizing one day theatre festival “ASHARFIYAAN” on April 26th at Punjab Kala Bhawan in Randhawa  Auditorium  in which two beautifully written plays of S.Gursharan Singh urf Bhai Manna Singh Ji will be showcased BANJH , directed by : KAMALDEEP KAUR and PURZA PURZA KATT MARE , directed by : VIVEK ROY KHANNA
Play: Purza Purza Katt Mare: is a story of 17-18 century when SIKHs were fighting against the Mughal for freedom. The story takes place in a house where an aged lady, lives with her grandson and brother… suddenly one night a wounded Sikh solider enter their home escaping from Mughal soldiers, and how that old lady helps the Sikh solider to escape and save her grandson and brother but gives her life in return. Reading the verse of GURBANI “PURZA PURZA KATT MARE KABAHU NA CHATTE KHETT” means that SIKHS  are not afraid to give up their lives however not ready to bow down to the evil rulers.

This story revolves around a lady who has no child even after several years of her marriage; her mother-in-law blames her despite of the knowledge about medical report given by doctor, stating man to be the reason of non fertility. Therefore, the story focuses on the social evils like superstations prevailing in our society and how dhongi baba’s try to take advantage of these instruments, and male chauvinist approach, with which the protagonist fights for her rights.

एनिमेशन फिल्म "भाई तारू सिंह" का ट्रेलर और पोस्टर रिलीज़

Chandigarh 24th April:- विस्माद द्वारा जल्द ही आने वाली एनिमेशन फिल्म "भाई तारू सिंह" का प्रेस कांफ्रेंस किया गया, 2005 में भारत की पहली एनिमेशन "साहिबज़ादे" का निर्देशन और निर्माण भी विस्माद द्वारा किया गया था एनिमेशन फिल्म भाई तारु सिंह के लेखक और निर्देशक विस्माद के सी.. सुखविंदर सिंह है
इस मौके पर सुखविंदर सिंह ने बताया कि, " विस्माद का असली मकसद एनिमेशन और नए जमाने के डिजिटल माध्यम द्वारा सिक्खों की अमीर विरासत को पेश करना है उन्होंने बताया वह बहुत खुश हुए कि उनकी पहली फिल्म 2005 में लोगों के बीच लाई गई थी जिसने ही केवल बच्चों को प्रभावित किया बल्कि उनको विरसे के बहुत सारे पहलुओं से भी अवगत करवाया
कहानी के बारे में उन्होंने बताया कि भाई तारु सिंह जी के समय में सिक्खों की बहुत मुश्किल घड़ी थी मुगल शासन जो इस कौम को तबाह करने पर तुला हुआ था सिक्खों के सिर पर इनाम थे और जानवरों की तरह शिकार खेला जाता था  फिर भी भाई तारु सिंह ही केवल 24 साल तक जीवित रहे बल्कि पास के गांव में रह रहे हिंदू और मुसलमान लोगों के दिलों में इज्जत भी कमाई
3D CGI (Computer Graphics Imagery) को छोड़कर फिल्म का ज्यादातर भाग असली है, भाई तारु सिंह जी के दर्शन पर खास ध्यान दिया गया है, जिस कारण भाई तारु सिंह का कैरेक्टर एक असली इंसान जैसा सिनेमा स्क्रीन पर देखने को मिलेगा फिल्म का बड़ा हिस्सा मोहाली में विस्माद एनिमेशन स्टूडियो में बनाया गया है कुछ 3D भाग चेन्नई में विस्माद की रचनात्मक टीम की सीधी निगरानी में बनाया गया है
अगर संगीत की बात करेंगे तो संगीत अतुल शर्मा और टाइगर स्टाइल(UK) से तैयार करवाया गया है और कनवर ग्रेवाल द्वारा गाया गया है
इससे पहले भी विस्माद द्वारा साहिबजादे(2005), बंदा सिंह बहादुर (2006), सुंदरी: ब्रेव कौर(2008), भाई तारु सिंह(2010) और भाई सुबेघ सिंह सहबाज़ सिंह (2012) 5 एनिमेशन फिल्मी चुकी है
इस मौके पर विस्माद की समूची टीम भी मौजूद थी

Open Air Gym Installed at Snehalaya & Ashaiana

Chandigarh 24th April:- Today is a great day in the history of CCIs i.e. Snehalaya & Ashaiana, Chandigarh when first ever Open Air Gym was installed and dedicated to the children of homes by Kirron Kher, Member of Parliament, Chandigarh. In the presence of Ms. Harjinder Kaur, Chairperson, Chandigarh Commission for Protection of Child Rights (CCPCR) and Rajesh Kalia, Area Councilor, MC. The Open Gym includes ten major different types of equipments for the physical growth of children. It is pertinent to mention that after school these children stay indoor all the day and there is no such physical activity so far in CCIs. Looking into the dire need of children involvement to channelize their energy in right direction. Commission requested Hon’ble MP to provide these equipments from her MP LADS fund on mother’s day.
She was very kind enough to provide equipment worth Rs. 2.87 Lacs each in both CCIs i.e. Snehalaya and Ashiana for boys and girls respectively. Pritpal Singh, Executive Engineer, Municipal Corporation, Chandigarh executed the project and children of snehalaya offered their gratitude by their home made greeting cards. On this occasion children were distributed sweets.
Kirron Kher, Member of Parliament, Chandigarh said that “ it is the happiest moment of my life that MP LADS funds have been used for the deprived section of Society particularly the children. She also complemented Commission for bring this to her notice and getting it executed.
Harjinder Kaur, Chairperson, CCPCR thanked the Hon’ble MP for her contribution for this Nobel Cause and said that this is real motherhood gesture which will touch every heart and inspire to contribute in the area. She requested Member parliament, Chandigarh to further get the Vocational Courses started in the CCIs.
On this occasion, Farmila Devi, Councilor Ward No. 6, and staff of CCPCR, District Child Protection Unit, Snehalaya, CWC, and Councilor s were also present.

Sant Nirankari Charitable Foundation Commemorates Manav Ekta Diwas With 83 Blood Donation Camps:412 Units Collected in Blood Donation Camp

Chandigarh 24th April:- Addressing the donors and devotees at the Blood Donation Camp organized by Sant Nirankari Charitable Foundation at Sant Nirankari Satsang Bhawan Sector 30 Chandigarh, to commemorate Manav Ekta Diwas, Smt. Alka Badnaur, wife of Chandigarh administrator and Governor of Punjab, said that a unit of blood can help save three to four lives, and one must never be afraid of donating blood, as it doesn’t cause any weakness in the body, rather helps improve the circulation of blood in the body and generate new blood. A total of   412 Units were collected in this Blood Donation Camp and 55 women donated blood.
Smt. Alka Badnaur expressed her happiness seeing the enthusiasm and motivation volunteers, to donate blood. She gave commendation letters and blessings to first time donors aged 18 years, including Aseem, Paramjit Kaur, Kuldeep Singh, Sanjana, among others.
Zonal In-charge, K.K Kashyap stated that back in the year 1980, on this day, Satguru Baba Gurbachan Singh Ji Maharaj sacrificed his life for the welfare of the humanity, and in a true tribute to the Satguru, Baba Hardev Singh Ji Maharaj gave a message to the devotees stating ‘blood should flow in veins, not in drains’. Adhering to this, in the year 1986, first blood donation camps were organized by Sant Nirankari Mission at all branches of the Nirankari Mandal. And, to this day, in the 5560 camps have been organised, 9, 45,061 units of blood has been collected. A total of 22 camps will be organised in the Chandigarh zone this year.
This Blood Donation Camp was conducted under the guidance of Prof. Dr. Suchet Sachdev from P.G.I. Blood Bank, with a team of 25 members, along with Dr. Simarjit, In-charge Blood Bank, Sector 16 with a team of 15 members. Dr. Sachdev said that in the blood donation camps organised by Sant Nirankari Charitable Foundation, the expenses of refreshment are taken care by the foundation, and Nirankari Sewadal contributes selflessly towards the success of the camps. 
Sanyojak Navneet Pathak Ji, while expressing his gratitude to Smt.Alka Badnaur, the doctors’ teams,devotees and donors, prayed for blessings and happiness from Satguru Mata Savinder Hardev Ji Maharaj, for one and all.
Also present on the occasion were Smt. Chitkara University Hosts CLIL @ India “Boot Camp on Multilingualism”

Chandigarh 24th April:- A five days International Training Programme under the (Content Language Integrated Learning) CLIL@India initiative of Erasmus+ (European Union programme for education) to propagate and promote regional languages (Punjabi and Hindi) in the region was inaugurated today at Chitkara University, Punjab campus . “Boot Camp- Seasoning to Enhance Teaching Learning Experience” themed informative Training Programme will highlight CLIL powered teaching.
Harjinder Kaur, Chairperson, CCPCR (Chandigarh Commission for Protection Child Right) was the Chief Guest and Key note speaker in the inaugural session today. In her address, she expressed her concern that today the education system is only focusing on developing the professional skills using English as a medium of instruction. Due to this, language development has taken a backseat. She suggested that the textbooks and curriculum needs to be amended to provide space for regional languages. In her conclusion, she shared that language is to be adored and not imposed.
The session was followed by Introduction to CLIL@India by Prof. Neeta Inamdar, Coordinator CLIL@India & Head-Department of European Studies, Manipal Academy of Higher Education. In her key note address she expressed concern over textbooks in higher education in India for various subjects, which are largely published in English. She compared the scenario with Germany, where in order to preserve their own language; the medium of instruction in classes is their mother tongue. She highlighted that since India is a multilingual nation, it faces many challenges in adopting the European CLIL model. So, CLIL@India can come as a rescue to protect the regional languages.
Chitkara team conducted an orientation session –An Ice Breaking Digestive Walk Through. This was further followed by a session on ‘CLIL Methodology’ which included comprehension strategies and activities. A workshop was also conducted today by Dr. Luciana Pedrazzini & Dr Andrea Nava, Department of Foreign Language and Literature, University of Milan, Italy for the in-service Private and Government Primary School Teachers with an objective to promote innovative teaching practices, innovative learning practices, mother-tongue-based education and multilingual pedagogy.
Recounting her experience as a student, Vice Chancellor of Chitkara University, Dr. Madhu Chitkara reiterated the need for multilingualism as a way to connect with people, and voiced out her opinion on how training professionals immensely benefits the learner. She also added that eventually our forth coming generation is losing the touch of mother tongue in their daily life, which is of equal importance. Therefore, to bridge this gap the pedagogy should incorporate the usage of vernacular language as it has better impact on the students”.
The day 2 of the program will focus on interaction strategies and activities followed by methods to enhance interaction in a CLIL class.
Vice Chancellor Prof. Gurmeet Singh, Pondicherry University will be giving a felicitation address. A workshop devoted to going through the books of grade 4 government and private school students will be organised wherein participants will be given an overview to frame learning objectives based on ‘Bloom’s Taxonomy’ .
Day 3 will be an academic tour of Chitkara International School, cultural mediation, focus on material evaluation, implementing material for a CLIL class, active learning strategies with respect to Indian classroom perspective and hands-on–developing active learning strategies.
The fourth day of the session involves rolling out of production strategies and activities, developing a CLIL lesson plan, presentations of CLIL lessons followed by feedback by all the partners.
The day 5 of the programme will be dedicated to an assessment in a CLIL class. The prominent points of the workshop to go on air on Radio Chitkara 107.8 FM.
