Mercedes-Benz Launches Mercedes-AMG S 63 Coupé

New Delhi 18th June:- India’s leading luxury and performance carmaker Mercedes-Benz India bolsters its position in the dream car segment with the launch of Mercedes-AMG S 63 Coupé. The two-door Coupé is powered by 4.0-litre V8 biturbo engine with twin-scroll turbochargers, producing 450 kW of power and 900 Nm of torque, which accelerates the vehicle from stand still to 100 in mere 3.5 seconds. The new 4.0-litre engine installed in the vehicle is churns out 20 kW more power from its predecessor, which hosted a 5.5-litre engine. The Mercedes-AMG S 63 Coupé is launched by Mr. Michael Jopp, VP Sales and Marketing, Mercedes-Benz India.

‘Bedrock’ Limited Edition Marks 25,000 Sales of Made in India Jeep® Compass

Chandigarh 18th June:- FCA India, which manufactures India’s Most Awarded SUV (2017) Jeep® Compass in its Ranjangaon facility near Pune, today rolled out the Jeep® Compass ‘Bedrock’, a Limited Edition to commemorate its 25,000 sales milestone, achieved in less than a year of the SUV’s launch in the market. Bedrock will be available in the ‘Sport’ trim, comes with the 2.0-litre 173 PS Turbo Diesel engine, six-speed manual transmission, in 4x2 drive configurations. 
The Jeep® Compass, one of the safest SUVs on Indian roads today, was launched on July 31, 2017 and since, has arguably made the Indian SUV marketplace more challenging for competition, has brought about a remarkable shift in four-wheeler buying patterns and has elevated consumer aspiration to a new level.
Commenting on Jeep® Compass Bedrock Kevin Flynn – President and Managing Director, FCA India said that we are proud of what we have achieved with the Jeep Compass in less than one year of it being in the market. With the Jeep Compass, FCA India has secured its best sales within a 12-month period, in the last 10 years. We are celebrating our 25,000 sales milestones with Indian customers by giving them the Jeep Compass Bedrock Limited Edition.
The Jeep Compass Bedrock Limited Edition will come with special elements like Reverse Parking Camera, 16-inch gloss Black Alloy wheels, side step for ingress, Bedrock-branded seat covers, black roof rails, premium floor mats, Bedrock decals and the Bedrock monogram.
Bedrock Limited Edition, 4x2, 2.0-litre Turbodiesel with 6-speed manual transmission is priced at Rs. 17.53 lakh (ex-Delhi) will be available in three colours – Vocal White, Minimal Grey and Exotica Red.
FCA India celebrated the first year of Jeep Compass production on June 1 this year in Ranjangaon, which is one of FCA’s four Global manufacturing and export hubs. The Company has already exported over 8000 Jeep Compass SUVs to seven automobile markets now including developed destinations such as Japan, Australia, the UK and Ireland.

Raj Pal Khullar Elected as President of Punjab State Pharmacy Council

Chandigarh 18th June:- Raj Pal Khullar was here today unanimously elected as the President of the Punjab State Pharmacy Council at the elections of the council held at Medical Sikhaya Bhawan, Mohali. Dr. Avnish Kumar, Director, Medical Education & Research, Punjab was the observer for holding the election. 
Kuldip Kumar Nanda (Member) suggested the name of Raj Pal Khullar, which was seconded by Harmesh Kumar (Member), consequent to which Raj Pal Khullar was unanimously elected as Temporary Chairman by all the present members (under rule 7(1) of the State Pharmacy Council Rules, 1951 for Election of President, Punjab State Pharmacy Council. 


Blue Dart Launches New State-of-the-Art Aviation Hub in Chennai: Further Boosting its Market Leadership in India

Chandigarh 18th June:- Blue Dart,  today announced the launch of its new state-of-the-art aviation hub in Chennai. The Aviation Hub will measure 4,912 sq. meters upon completion and is strategically located at the Blue Dart Aviation Terminal, Gate 6 Old International Airport, Meenambakkam, Chennai, with both air and land side access, enabling fast and efficient transfer of shipments, improving faster transit times and further extending Blue Dart’s already market leading service quality.
The new facility will also house the headquarters of Blue Dart Aviation, India’s only commercial cargo airline which provides a dedicated fleet of six B757-200 freighters and a capacity of 500 tonnes every night, operating across 73 flight sectors daily. The hub boasts BCAS approved security screening with its own X-Ray machines, equipment and dedicated manpower.
