यादव समाज ने होली मिलन समारोह का आयोजन किया: यादव डायरेक्टरी का विमोचन भी किया गया

Chandigarh 18th Mar, 2019:- यादव समाज द्वारा, यादव भवन, सैक्टर 12, पंचकूला में होली मिलन समारोह का आयोजन किया गया। इस में चंडीगढ़ व टृाईसिटी के प्रतिष्ठित लोग उपस्थित थे। इसी अवसर पर सेवानिवर्त एम. एस. राव ने यादव डायरेक्टरी 2019 का विमोचन किया। एम. एस. राव ने डायरेक्टरी के महत्व का व्याख्यान करते हुए एक बहुत ही सराहनीय कार्य बताया। जो समाज को जोडने का कार्य करेगी।
संपादक भागलाल यादव ने भी एम. एस. राव की बात को बढ़ाते हुए कहा की हमने डायरेक्टरी में वीर योघाओं का जिक्र किया है, जिससे नई पीठी को प्रेरणा मिलेगी।डायरेक्टरी में लोगों की सुविधा के लिए व्यक्तित्व का परिचय दिया गया है। डायरेक्टरी समाज के लिए उपयोगी सम्पर्क सूत्र साबित होगी। डायरेक्टरी का पहला संस्करण होने के कारण  लोगों में भारी उत्साह था। इसी अवसर पर गुलाल की जगह फूलों से होली खेली गई। जिसमें महिलाओं की भागीदारी भी उत्साहपूर्ण रही।समाज ने रंगको छोड़कर फूलों से होली खेलने का संदेश दिया।
इस अवसर पर एम. एस. राव के साथ विजेय,रतिराम,राजेन्द्र सिंह व डायरेक्टरी टीम के अडवाईजर कमेटी के सदस्य डा. विजेन्दर सिंह, वरिष्ट अध्यापक विजेयपाल, रोहतास यादव, सुजीत यादव,  प्रकाश यादव,  रधविन्दर यादव, शिवमूर्ति व रामचन्द्र उपस्थित थे। 

Ludhiana Student Becomes a Top Gamer on Mobile Premier League

Ludhiana 18th Mar, 2019:- Kumar Ashish, a college student from Ludhiana and gamer on Mobile Premier League (MPL) has won over INR 70,000 over the last couple of months making him one of the biggest winners from the city. MPL, India’s fastest growing Mobile eSports platform, attracts millions of users from across the country, allowing them to participate in a range of skill based mobile games and compete with over tens of thousands of players in 1v1 or tournament style player formats.
Kumar Ashish has been a regular gamer on MPL since he downloaded the app. He spends a few hours every day practicing and improving his gaming skills on the platform. He added that he is not just a hero in the virtual world, but one at home too. He was able to contribute towards my family expenses and sibling’s education with the help of money won. Kumar is currently pursuing bachelors in pharmacy and aspires to become a drug inspector in the future. Along with his career, Kumar is keen on pursuing mobile gaming as a passion.

Colorectal Cancer Awareness Camp Held in PGI-OPD

Chandigarh 18th Mar, 2019:- Colorectal cancer Awareness campaign was organised by the Deptt. of Radiotherapy and Oncology in Radiotherapy OPD 4th floor B Block. Prof Rakesh Kapoor elaborated about the healthy lifestyle practices and the warning signs of colorectal cancer  to the attendants of patients and the public. The risk factors include male sex, family history, genetic factors, syndrome like inflammatory bowel disease, abdominal radiation, renal transplantation, obesity, diabetes mellitus and insulin resistance. Increased consumption of red and processed meat, use of tobacco, alcohol and lack of fibre in diet, less consumption of fresh fruits and green leafy vegetables contribute to increased risk of colorectal cancer.
This initiative was a part of colorectal cancer awareness month and the slogan for this year is Don't Assume. Colorectal cancer is among the top five cancers globally and is a lethal cancer.
Dr Rakesh Kapoor said that avoidance of risk factors can decrease the incidence of this cancer and recognition of early warning signs can help in detection at early stage thus offering a curative treatment. 
About 200 patients and their attendants were distributed healthy snacks like fruit and milk along with education material in the Radiotherapy OPD. 

राष्ट्रीय हिन्दू शक्ति संगठन और रोटी बैंक ने 32 हॉस्पिटल के सामने लगाया लंगर

Chandigarh 18th Mar, 2019:- राष्ट्रीय हिंदू शक्ति संगठन की चंडीगढ़ इकाई ने राष्ट्रीय उपाध्यक्ष श्री श्री श्री स्वामी सत्येंद्र नाथ महाराज जी के आशीर्वाद से प्रदेश अध्यक्ष डॉ हिमांशु पुनिया की अध्यक्षता में राष्ट्रीय हिन्दू शक्ति संगठन चंडीगढ़ ने रोटी बैंक की तरफ से जी.एम.सी.एच, सेक्टर 32 हॉस्पिटल में लंगर का आयोजन किया। इस अवसर पर राष्ट्रीय हिन्दू शक्ति संगठन की महिला अध्यक्षा चंडीगढ़ मोनिका भारद्वाज, महामंत्री आशा शर्मा,पुष्पा राठौड़, गीता नाईक,एवं आर.ऐच. ऐस.ऐस चंडीगढ़ की पूरी इकाई ने बढ़ चढ़कर हिस्सा लिया।
मोनिका भारद्वाज ने बताया कि लंगर आयोजन का उद्देश्य समाज भलाई के साथ साथ उन लोगों के लिए भोजन मुहैया करवाना है, जो अपने बीमार पेशेंट की देखभाल में व्यस्तता के चलते कैंटीन आदि जगह से खाना नही खरीद पाते है।
