चंडीगढ़ बॉडीबिल्डिंग एंड फिजिक एसोसिएशन करेगी 8वा नेशनल लेवल बॉडी बिल्डिंग चैंपियनशिप का आयोजन: 10 फरबरी को गवर्नमेन्ट कॉलेज सेक्टर 46 मे होगी चैंपियनशिप

Chandigarh 09th Feb, 2019:- चंडीगढ़ बॉडी बिल्डिंग एंड फिजिक एसोसिएशन द्वारा इंडियन बॉडी बिल्डिंग फेडरेशन(पंजीक्रत युवा खेल मंत्रालय ) के सहयोग से 8वा.नेशनल लेवल बॉडी बिल्डिंग चैंपियनशिप आयोजित किया जा रहा है। यह चैंपियनशिप 10 फरबरी को गवर्नमेन्ट कॉलेज 46 मे सुबह 10 बजे से शुरू होगी
आज आयोजित प्रेस वार्ता मे इसका खुलासा करते हुए एसोसिएशन के जनरल सेक्रेटरी सूरजभान ने बताया कि वो पिछले छः साल से लगातार स्टेट लेवल की प्रतियोगिता करवा रहे है। इस साल वो केवल स्टेट बल्कि नेशनल लेवल की भी प्रतियोगिता करवा रहे है। स्टेट लेवल की सातवीं मिस्टर चंडीगढ़ के साथ -साथ सातवीं मिस चंडीगढ़ तथा सातवीं मेंस फिजिक चैंपियनशिप करवा रहे है।
प्रेस वार्ता मे पूर्व मिस्टर यूनिवर्स प्रेम डोगरा भी उपस्तिथ थे, उन्होंने भी लोगो को नशे से दूर रहने का सन्देश देते हुए खेल से जुड़ने को कहा।
जबकि इंडियन बॉडी बिल्डिंग फेडरेशन के अधिकारी चेतन पठारे ने कहा के वो पंजाब ही नहीं देश भर मे ऐसे  आयोजनों की पैरवी करते है. तथा हर तरह के सहयोग के लिए तैयार है।  स्टेट लेवल पर 100 लड़को मे से पांच चुने जायेंगे,तीन को गोल्ड, सिल्वर, ब्रोज़ के अलावा सर्टिफिकेट भी मिलेगा, जबकि बाकि दो को सर्टिफिकेट मिलेगा । जबकि 15 लड़कियों से 10 चुनी जाएँगी दूसरी तरफ मेंस फिजिक मे 40 मे से 10 टॉप चुने जायेगे और नेशनल लेवल पर 300 मे से पांच विजेता होंगे । जिनमे से पहले को गोल्ड , दूसरे को सिल्वर , तीसरे को ब्रोंज मेडल बाकि दो को ट्राफी मिलेगी।
इस मौक़े पर बोलते हुए एसोसिएशन के मीडिया प्रभारी सिद्धांत भारद्धाज ने आशा व्यक्त करते हुआ कहा कि पिछले इवेंट्स की तरह ये भी शानदार होगा।
एसोसिएशन के प्रेजिडेंट ने ख़ुशी व्यक्त करते हुए आयोजन की सफलता की कामना करते हुए मीडिया का धन्यवाद किया।

Dev Samaj College for Women: 21 Companies Take Part in Job Fest

Chandigarh 09th Feb, 2019:- In a bid to  provide a platform to young college  students pursuing various courses to get  recruited in some of the finest companies, the 'Career & Placement Cell' of Dev Samaj College for Women(DSCW), Sec 45 here, organised Job fest 2019.
The college campus was thronged by 21 companies from different sectors of industry. Some prominent recruiters were Amazon, Tech Mahindra, Tata Strive, Aviators Hub, Window IT, Leom International, Exide Life Insurance, NIIT, Eprofess Group, B-Desk, Innovative/ Knits, Ambit job consultants, Amartex etc.  In this recruitment drive more than 500 students of different colleges participated with great zeal and enthusiasm. 
Maximum response was witnessed at the Aviators Hub as the basic requirement of the company was intermediate level students and aviation has always caught the fancy of young girls. Windows IT Company conducted three rounds to shortlist the candidates. Beginning with aptitude round, then technical round and in the end with HR round, they selected quite a few girls. Final interviews for placements will be conducted in the coming months. Tech Mahindra conducted 2 rounds and shortlisted 19 students and were offering pay packages of 1.8 lakh to 2.4 lakhs per annum. Tata Strive shortlisted 70 students and invited them for final selection in the coming month.  Amartex, after short listing from 60 Aspiring Students by conducting a written and group discussion finally called 37 students for the personal interview.
Dr. Agnese Dhillon, Secretary, Dev Samaj Managing Committee, inaugurated the fest and wished students all the success for a bright future.
Dr. Jaspal Kaur, Principal , DSCW 45 said that our College's Career and Placement Cell works towards supporting and guiding students on all aspects of job search through personalized career advising sessions & working very closely with them to define their career paths. This way the team in the cell  helps students achieve students' goals.
Selected students were seen brimming with confidence at the end of the fest. The placement cell of DSCW will hold more such fests in the coming future.

Navsankalp Holds Sparkles 2k19- A Mega Charity Event

Chandigarh 09th Feb, 2019:- Navsankalp association is a student run organisation based in the tricity, which makes judicious donations to children below the age of 17 admitted in PGIMER and GMSH-16, whose families cannot afford to pay for their treatment. Till date, Navsankalp has saved 165 lives by contributing a sum of about 63 lacs.
Sparkles 2k19, Tricity's biggest ever Charity Fest was held at the Leisure Valley, sector 10, Chandigarh, on the 8th of February in collaboration with the Municipal Corporation under the theme “SWACHH BHARAT, SWASTH BHARAT”.
Ajit Balaji Joshi, Director General, (Department of agriculture and Farmers Welfare) Government of Haryana, presided over the function.
The star attraction for the eve was a stellar performance by Jassie Gill and Babbal Rai, the Punjabi music sensation, who enthralled the audience and made sure they, jived. Apart from the celebrated singer, the event was lined up with a number of special performances, foremost among which was an ensemble of visually challenged children from Vatika School. Other performances included NavSankalp Dance Drama Skit by students of the organization,
a captivating Thematic Fashion Show, mimicry, beatboxing, cultural dances and more.
The event witnessed a footfall of about 4,500 people, contributing to the noble cause through tickets.
At the event, NavSankalp donated a sum of 25,000 INR for the treatment and operation of a 10 years old girl, who has to undergo bladder augmentation. The cheque was presented by Ajit Balaji Joshi.


Manpreet Badal Releases Dr Vibha Ray's Poetry Book

Chandigarh 09th Feb, 2019:- Punjab Finance Minister Manpreet Singh Badal today released “Khwahishen Barasti Hein”, an anthology of poems by eminent Chandigarh-based poetess Dr Vibha Ray, at an impressive function at the UT Guest House here.
In his address, interspersed with couplets and literary gems, Badal complimented  DrVibha  Ray for capturing myriad human emotions in a simple yet forceful language in the book.
Speaking on the book, Dr Ray said that the  poems in  the “Khwahishen Barasti Hein” were spontaneous, honest, truthful and uncensored expressions of a soul’s journey inwards to one’s own divinity. She added that besides, they reflected soul’s yearning for  union with the lover who is none other than God Himself.
Prominent among those spoke on the occasion included Shiv Raman Gaur, State Information Commissioner, Haryana, and Chander Trikha, Deputy Chairman, Haryana Urdu Akademi
A large number litterateurs from the region attended the function organized by Shanti Sarup Sharma Memorial Educational and Charitable Trust(S-4 Trust), an organization committed to the promotion of art, culture and literature.
