Dabur India Launches First Ever Mobile Honey Testing Lab in India

Chandigarh 14th March:- Adding yet another first in its mission in innovation, India’s most trusted healthcare company, Dabur India Limited, today inaugurated the first ever Mobile Honey Testing Lab. This unique on-the-wheel lab has been designed specifically to reduce the adulteration in honey and ensure that purity is maintained.
The Mobile Honey Testing Lab was flagged off from Dabur Research and Development Centre in Sahibabad by Sunil Duggal, CEO Dabur India. Starting its journey from Uttar Pradesh, the lab will tap 2 major centers for bee farming in Muzaffarpur, Bihar and Sundarbans, West Bengal. With the help of the Mobile Honey Testing Lab, bee-keepers can now test the purity of their honey and avoid adulteration, since the majority of the honey sold in the domestic market is impure, containing sugar-mixed ingredients and antibiotics. The samples will be tested in 2 types of equipment- Randox and Altino, and which will provide an accurate on-the-spot result on the purity of the honey. This unique service will be cost effective.
Inaugurating the lab, a delighted, Sunil Duggal, CEO Dabur India, said that we are pleased to bring forward this unique initiative ‘Mobile Honey-testing Lab’, which will revolutionize the bee-farming landscape and honey testing modules in India. The average consumption of honey is increasing every day and we have been witnessing the demand for a comprehensive yet convenient honey testing module. Dabur’s Mobile Honey-testing Lab will offer rapid and cost effective services to test the quality of honey from the source, thereby cutting off adulteration. We expect to sample 250 batches in every city and will keep adding more numbers and cities as per our observations.
Sunil Duggal added that today, honey is not just used as a home remedy but an irreplaceable health supplement. The health conscious Indian has added honey to their daily diet for good measures. Our mobile honey testing lab will act as a catalyst to answer all honey related queries.



वुमेन पॉवर सोसाइटी ने गरीब बच्चों संग मनाई होली

Chandigarh 14th March:- वुमेन पॉवर सोसाईटी ने फेज-11 की अम्ब साहिब कॉलोनी की बस्ती में रहने वाले कचरा उठाने वाले बच्चों के संग होली का त्योहार मनाया। संस्था के सदस्यों ने छोटे बच्चों को होली के रंग और पिचकरियां भेंट की। इस मौके पर संस्था सदस्य चर्म रोग विशेषज्ञ गीता गर्ग ने बच्चों को केमिकल से बने रंगों से होने वाले दुष्प्रभाव की जानकारी दी और रंगों को पशओं के ऊपर फेंकने की शिक्षा भी दी। इस मौके पर संस्था सदस्य विमल भारती, उषा गुप्ता और इलाका प्रधान गिरधारी लाल उपस्थित थे। यह जानकारी संस्था अध्यक्ष मोनिका अरोड़ा ने दी।
                                           

Chidiyaghar Highlights Importance of Women Empowerment

Chandigarh 14th March:- Sony SAB’s Chidiyaghar has been constantly emphasizing on teaching their viewers morals and valuable lessons throughout their journey so far. This time, they are focusing on women empowerment as we see one more female member of the Chidiyaghar family starts working and earning money. Chidiyaghar airs from Monday to Friday at 9.00pm on Sony SAB.
With Ghotak (Paresh Ganatra) being suspended for 6 months, Koyal (Aditi Sajwan) immediately starts searching for a job to manage the family expenses. Soon she gets a job in a private company. Koyal’s nature being sweet and caring, she takes care of everyone in the office including her boss. Koyal’s boss who pretends to be of a caring and generous nature, misinterprets her behavior and tries to flirt with her. He invites her for a two days tour outside the city. But Koyal denies going along with him which makes him furious. As a revenge he starts mentally harassing her and makes her feel pathetic with each passing day.
Commenting on the track Aditi said that harassment on women at workplaces in the corporate and private offices are not as uncommon as one thinks. We talk and crib about it. But there is no concrete solution to it. Though we celebrate International Women’s Day but women are still treated as objects. This track will be a tribute to all women who stand up for themselves and be an inspiration to others in similar situation.



PGI Doctor Gets Prestigious Oration Award

Chandigarh 14th March:- Dr. N.Khandelwal Prof. & Head, Department of Radiodiagnosis, PGIMER, Chandigarh  delivered “Dr. T.B.Patel Oration” at The Gujarat Cancer & Research Institute, Ahmedabad during their Hospital Day Celebrations.  The topic of the oration was “Ablative therapies in Oncology: current scenario”. He was awarded Scroll of Honour and an oration plaque.
Dr. T.B.Patel Award was instituted in 1991 by the Gujarat Cancer Society to commemorate the services of Dr. T.B.Patel, Founder Director of the Gujarat Cancer & Research Institute, Ahmedabad, Gujarat. It is awarded annually to scientists working in the field of oncology and whose work has gained international recognition.
Dr. N.Khandelwal is a distinguished radiologist with more than 35 years of experience in teaching & research with over 450 peer reviewed National and International publications. He has authored several books and is recipient of numerous awards. This Oration was bestowed by the  Award Committee for his National and International contributions on radio diagnosis in cancer.
