Visa Travel Prepaid Cardholders with a Vodafone postpaid connection can get a discount of Rs. 750 on this plan, thus getting this service for just Rs. 4250. Vodafone i-RoamFREE plan for 10 days is priced at Rs 3500 and Visa Travel Prepaid Cardholders with a Vodafone postpaid connection can get a discount of Rs 500, effectively making the service available @Rs. 3000.
Vodafone i-RoamFREE plans cover 65 countries. It offers Unlimited Data & calls in 20 countries like USA, Europe, UAE, UK, Singapore, Thailand, Malaysia, New Zealand and unlimited free incoming calls and free data in 45 other countries. Exide Life Insurance Reveals Utility Bill Payments, Banking Transactions, and Insurance Premium Payments

Chandigarh 20th June:- Only 32% of digital savvy consumers in India are comfortable making online transactions of any value while 75% are comfortable make digital payments1. These are amongst the findings from 2018 Digital Habits Survey published by Exide Life Insurance, revealing the financial digital habits of Indians amidst a digitization boom. The digital survey was carried out by Exide Life Insurance in the first quarter of 2018 across 9000+ Life Insurance owners.
The e-commerce boom is bringing more people into its fold furthering the cause of digital payments. . With more people shopping online, the use of digital payments has become popular. While 75% of the respondents were comfortable making online transactions, majority of the users were comfortable making low value transactions. Credit Cards emerged as the most preferred digital payment option especially amongst those who make high value transactions while Debit cards emerged as the second most popular payment option. Even as the economy was quick to adapt to e-wallets post demonetization2, the survey highlights that less than 5% prefer to use e-wallets and BHIM for online transactions1. Additionally, Utility Bill payments, Banking transactions, and paying insurance premium were amongst Top 3 financial transactions made by them in the last 30 days. Interestingly 8% of the users had purchased an insurance policy online in the last 30 days.

Today more and more consumers are buying products and services from the comforts of their homes as per their convenience. While heightened ecommerce activity is getting witnessed in categories like durables, fashion, travel and entertainment, financial services are not behind. Our 2018 Digital Habits Survey, launched with a clear intention of understanding how customers are living the digital life with a sharper lens on their habits while dealing with insurance online, has generated good insights. Thapar Varsity Gets International RIAI Architectural Award

Chandigarh 20th June:- Thapar Institute of Engineering and Technology (TIET), Patiala formerly known as Thapar University, has announced as the winner for Student Accommodation designed by McCullough Mulvin at 29th International RIAI architectural award at a ceremony in Dublin’s Mansion House. TIET is the only University in India to be awarded for its student residences.
Amongst 15 categories, this year RIAI architectural award shortlisted 32 projects, spanning 12 counties across Ireland as well as international projects in India. The jury chose 20 overall winners and gave awards to 12 highly commended and 8 commended entries.  2018 saw the highest number of entries for awards.
Meanwhile, TIET has been ranked internationally by almost all prestigious rankings. Some of it includes recognition from Times Higher Education (THE) World University Rankings, QS Asia and QS BRICS rankings, NIRF etc. In the Times Higher Education (THE) World University Rankings, it ranked in the 801-1000 bracket worldwide. It was 18th joint among 42 institutions in India.
Moreover, TIET ranked in 251-300 bracket in Asia and 29th among 42 Universities in India in the Times Higher Education (THE) World University Asia Rankings. In QS Asia and QS BRICS rankings, TIET ranked 210 in Asia and 137 in BRICS. In the National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF) 2018 of the Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD), TIET garnered a high 20th rank in the Engineering Institutions category, 33rd rank in the University category and 50th in the Overall category.

Fuji’s AstaReal and Transcend Nutressentials Enters into Collaborative Partnership: To Develop New Innovations in Astaxanthin ROS Scavenger Formulations

Chandigarh 20th June:- In one of the most unique collaborations in the nutraceutical industry, Japanese company AstaReal, a subsidiary of Fuji Chemical Group has entered a collaborative partnership with Indian company Transcend Nutressentials International Ltd (Nutressent), a nutraceuticals company focused on wellness through responsible nutrition. This partnership will enable Transcend Nutressentials to focus on new formulations and applications for natural Astaxanthin which would be exclusive property of Nutressent. Under this collaboration, AstaReal will contribute scientific and technical support to Nutressent in building the science and technology of natural Astaxanthin and various exclusive formulations to the market.
Astaxanthin is extremely important both from the environment as well as the body point of view across different markets. Astaxanthin is a powerful, naturally occurring carotenoid pigment that's found in certain marine plants and animals. Often called "the king of the carotenoids," Astaxanthin is recognized as being one of the most powerful ROS Scavenger found in nature. It is of particular significance, because unlike some other types of ROS Scavengers, Astaxanthin never becomes a pro-oxidant in the body so it can never cause harmful oxidation.
