May:- With the onset of summers, designer
apparel that keeps one in cool comfort & is trendy is in demand by fashion
savvy residents of tricity. With the idea of catering to such a clientele,
exhibition specialists Royal Day events, a company established by Yogesh
Chaudhary and Pooja Chaudhary, has curated a three day extravaganza –‘Summer
Fest’, which is an international wedding & lifestyle exhibition.
Pooja Yogesh Chaudhary, who is the
brain behind the exhibition, said that we have tried to make the three day
exhibition a one-stop-shop for all type of summer fashion be it casual, formal
or even wedding. The exhibition is trend setting with over 60 exhibitors
presenting their fashion apparel, accessories and home décor items. The USP of
the exhibition is the diversity of designers - they have been chosen from
places spread across India like Hyderabad, Mumbai, Agra, Jaipur, and Delhi
among other cities. What’s more, the collections are available at an affordable
price range.
Keeping the harsh North Indian summer
in mind young and creative fashion designers have played with pastel and
vibrant colours and created suits, kurtis, sarees, gowns, tops, jumpsuits,
palazzo sets etc using summery fabrics like georgette, cotton, linen, organza
et al. One can see light hues of peaches and yellows with loads of subtle gold
making the designs tasteful & appealing in the summer heat.
Breathtaking designer wear is
showcased at ‘Wow designs’ by Sahiba from Delhi, who is showcasing her new
summer collection at Summer fest. A beautiful amalgamation of tradition and
style is displayed at ‘IBTIDA’ which has brought its new range of sensuous and
stunning traditional wear. ‘Shimona’s Couture’ is presenting awe inspiring
ensembles. ‘Fabrics World’ – is showcasing designer fabrics for summers and is
a must visit. The label ‘Nidhisha’ is also displaying its collection. 'Darzies
Couture' is presenting a very nice ethnic collection. Rozy’s’ wedding
accessories offers a breath of fresh air due to
the sheer beauty of the different products on offer. There are wedding hand
bags, clutches, designer potlis and much more here.
‘Summer Fest’ is not just a wedding
and summer clothes shopping destination, in fact the exhibition focuses also on
antique furniture items, home décor, wedding accessories and handicraft
products. Footwear from ‘Horaz Just Juttis’ has a wide range of traditional
juttis which have their surfaces done in fine embroidery by skilled artisans.
In home décor and interiors ‘Mee and
You’ has an attractive display of home linen. ‘House of Linen’ too is
quite a draw for those wanting to spurce up their home interiors.
Jewels are not far behind. Jewels
which exude royalty are showcased under the banner of the label ‘Baalee by
Riddhi’. ‘Modluk Jewels’ too is exhibiting.
‘Summer Fest’ is also different as
compared to other lifestyle exhibitions as it has kept the upcoming vacation
season in mind. In keeping with this, Club Mahindra Holidays has put up a
stall. What’s more, Dr Batra’s Homeopathy is also spreading awareness on how to
use homeopathy for better health.
Yogesh Chaudhary, who owns Royal Day
events along-with his wife Pooja Chaudhary, said that the products on display
include mainly designer suits, lehngas, matching jewelry, clutches, home décor
and home furnishings items etc.
