Plus Size Beauty Pageant: A Unique Beauty Pageant is All Set to Be Held in Region.

Chandigarh 07th July:- A unique beauty pageant is all set to be held in the region. Hardeep Arora, a renowned pageant organiser & Reality dance show 'Boogie Woogie' winner, announced details of  Ms Plus Size North India Season II at a press meet held at WelcomHotel Bella Vista, here. "We have successfully held Ms Plus Size North India Season I & now are happy to inform that the second edition of the pageant for Plus size women will be held on July 8, 2018(Sunday) at Hotel park Plaza, Zirakpur.  A total of 52 models will participate in the event & showcase their talent. The show will kick off at 5:30 PM." Said Hardeep Arora , Founder, Ms Plus Size North India.The event is the brainchild of Hardeep Arora &  Daksha Digitas.
It is noteworthy that Hardeep Arora is popularly known as a Fashion & Dance Choreographer, Model Maker & Event Organizer. He has taken initiatives for different contests like 'Shining Llittle Star', 'Mrs. Punjab 2016' & many more.
Hardeep Arora said that this event will be an opportunity for all ladies who want to become models but their belly comes in the way of their dreams. The pageant also helps us fulfill our company’s social responsibility towards Plus Size women.
At the press conference as many as 50 finalists were there.   Mrs. India Worldwide 2014 Aman Grewal along-with Akanksha Dhamija Runner Up, Plus Size North India Season I was also present.
Hardeep Arora was accompanied by the First British Asian Plus Size Model & E Bay Brand Ambassador Bishamber Das, who is also Brand Ambassador of Ms Plus Size North India -Season. It is pertinent to mention that Bishamber who was born in the UK to an Indian Mother & a Malaysian father has her roots in Punjab & speaks 7 different languages.
Bishamber Das said that she has been constantly working hard to break barriers & perceptions of plus size women around the world. Being a British Asian woman herself, she is  by far familiar with the prejudices women of South Asian communities face.
Bishamber has successfully been on a number of interviews around the UK with the BBC and other recognised tabloids and channels.  She added that this event will spread positivity for plus body shapes. It will also boost the inner confidence of plus size ladies to develop a career in modeling or any other field. Some girls want to fit in the social standards of being perfect and in a certain shape, which is tall and skinny but now women will break these stereotypes through this pageant, by embracing their beautiful bodies and redefining standards.
Hardeep Arora added that this beauty pageant will be the biggest event of North in its category & is the first ever platform for plus size ladies in India. The objective of the event is to support the noble cause of body positivity.
The woman who broke the shackles Bishamber sums up that she wanted to be a model but her body size did not allow her to be. That time she thought to maintain a figure which suits best to be a plus size model, rather than working out to turn up skinny. This certainly paid off.

"Veer Di Veera" Lifestyle & Wedding Exhibition: A Scintillating & Glamorous Affair Starts

Chandigarh 07th July:- The first-of-its-kind lifestyle & wedding exhibition, ‘Veer Di Veera’ kick-started today at Hyatt Regency, Chandigarh. The exhibition provided an ideal amalgamation of everything ranging from lifestyle, wedding attire, home décor, casual clothes, accessories, jewellery, footwear, and lots more; all under one roof.
Speaking about the idea behind the exhibition, Mitali Munjal, Organizer, said that with the wedding bells and other festivities knocking on the door, we at ‘Veer Di Veera’ exhibition intend to celebrate the jovial relationship of a brother & sister and how the entire families can conveniently cater to their shopping requirements and bid adieu to the hustle-bustle of wedding shopping.

The exhibition witnessed the presence of fashion designers from the Bollywood industry, who exhibited their myriad collection for bride & groom, bridesmaids and everyone alike. Mitali Munjal said that she is truly enchanted to witness the overwhelming response of the people of Tricity at the first day of the exhibition, and she is affirmative that the second day will be equally mesmerizing.

The one-stop destination for all wedding & lifestyle needs, the exhibition also introduced the people of the City Beautiful to the Japanese concept of ‘dry green’ for the first time ever. Incarnated around the theme of monsoon wedding, the supreme beauty care products, accessories, and wedding apparels from luxury brands & fashion designers from across the country proved to be a major attraction for the visitors.

The first day of the exhibition received immense footfall and proved to be a great success. The last day of the exhibition will take place tomorrow at the Hyatt Regency, Chandigarh. 


Mitali Munjal: The Youngest & Talented Event Organizers of the Country Carved a Niche for Herself

Chandigarh 07th July:- It is a rare sight to see a Computer Applications graduate soar high in the lifestyle industry and similar is the case of Chandigarh-based Mitali Munjal, who took the road less travelled and pursued her passion of event management & fashion designing. The Organizer at Suhanee Events Horizon, twenty-four years old Mitali also dons the hat of being a fashion designer yet, she believes that there is still a long way to go.
Mitali Munjal said that her journey started with exhibiting her designer collection in different parts of the country and eventually, her talent was even recognized abroad when she was invited to exhibit her designer collection in Dubai and ever since then, there has been no turning back.
She has many successful exhibitions to her credit and her latest lifestyle & wedding exhibition, ‘Veer Di Veera’ in the City Beautiful, stands testament to the same.
The versatile collection in the exhibition ranging from ranging from lifestyle, wedding attire, home décor, casual clothes, accessories, jewellery, footwear, and lots more; all under one roof attracted a scintillating footfall from across the North region.
Celebrating the piousness of human relationships, various luxury brands and fashion designers from the Bollywood industry graced the two-day festivity at Hyatt Regency, Chandigarh.
When asked about the mantra behind this illustrious success, Mitali exclaimed that it has always been her passion and she strongly believe that when you are passionate and hard working towards reaching your goal, everything else falls in place.
She added that she lost her father, Nupender Munjal at the age of 14. He was an artist and he always wanted to put her creativity to good use and she is just working towards fulfilling the same. For all this while, her mother, Nazi Munjal and her brother, Piyush Munjal has supported her unconditionally and motivated to pursue her passion with utmost zeal & perseverance.
Mitali’s expertise in the fine nuances of fashion aesthetics and event management has brought her an array of accolades & appreciation from celebrities and international designers. With a millennial vision to reinvigorate the industry, Mitali is moving towards achieving her goals by leaps and bounds.
 Mitali stated that opportunity does not always knock on the door. Sometimes, you need to snatch it and make it best out of it.
