Elaichi All Set to Plan an Agitation to Promote Sanitation in Sony SAB’s ‘Jijaji Chhat Per Hain’

Chandigarh 25th April:- Sony SAB’s ‘Jijaji Chhat Per Hain’ has been dishing out interesting drama and entertainment with Elaichi’s amusing escapades with Pancham. The show will soon witness an interesting phase where Pancham instigates Elaichi to do something worthy that will benefit the society at large.
In the process of proving the same to Pancham, the clever Elaichi comes up with a plan and decides to start a sanitation programme in Chandni Chowk.  She begins an agitation against public urination and comes up with a unique idea to trouble Pancham and decides to turn his loo into a public toilet.
Commenting on this hilarious track, Pancham a.k.a. Nikhil Khurana mentioned that the latest track, the show has to offer is very hilarious. We had a gala time shooting for this specific track as we all had a laughter session while shooting this scene. I am sure the audience will enjoy this as much as we did during its making. 

MCC organizes Activities under 3R Theme at Modern Housing Complex Manimajra

Chandigarh 25th April:- The Municipal Corporation Chandigarh organized a programme under the theme of 3R i.e. Reduce, Reuse & Recycle in association with Resident Welfare Association, Modern Housing Complex, Manimajra.
Davesh Moudgil was the chief guest and he flagged off a cycle rally with a message to create awareness regarding use of bicycle. Anil Garg, Additional Commissioner, Jagtar Singh, area councilor, Colonel Gursewak Singh, President, S.C. Luthra, Sr. Vice President, S.A. Qureshi, General Secretary and other office bearers of RWA and HTBC, Modern Housing Complex, Manimajra and students from neighborhood schools participated in the activities.
The cycle rally goes on 3 Km route started from crossroads adjoining police beat box and passes through gate No.3, GSSS, Manimajra, DC Montessori Smart School, Uppal Marbles, Rajiv Vihar, Duplex Houses and ends near the main market, MHC carrying the message on placards to promote cycling in the city and 3R i.e. Reduce, Reuse & Recycle the waste.
All the officers of MCC and office bearers of RWA peddled down the route along with Mayor and area councilor.
After taking 3R pledge, the Mayor said that all stakeholders must adhere to the 3R principle i.e. Reduce, Reuse and Recycle, which will significantly help in waste management and sustainable development.

Reality Show 'Kaun Banega Star -Takkar Hunarbazo Ki' Auditions to Be Held in City

Chandigarh 25th April:- Here's a chance for those wanting to showcase their talent in acting & dancing at a national level platform. India's biggest reality show, based on the skills of dancing & acting, ‘Kaun Banega Star -Takkar Hunnarbazo Ki’ is going to go on air soon. The details of the same were shared with media at a press conference held at Press Club here. It was announced that tricity's Ace Choreographer, Director- Art Of Dance Studio and MTV Fame Artist, Dipesh Sekhri in association with SK Group of Entertainment is going to conduct Chandigarh Auditions of the show on Sunday, 29th April 2018. The auditions will take place at AKSIPS Smart School, Sec 41 B, Chandigarh from 09:00 am to 06:00 pm.
Dipesh Sekhri said that the show which is based on dance and acting will choose participants through two rounds of auditions. The judges for the auditions will be famous  Choreographers and Performers of the Reality Show- Saddam Hussain from Dance India Dance (Zee TV) and Nickita Kumar, Top Contestant of dance reality show- High Fever (&TV). The show will be telecast on E 24 channels in July.
 It is noteworthy that Glambition Productions which is a Delhi based company is producing the show.  Director of the show Liyakat Ali Khan & it's Producer Rakesh Love have authorized tricity's ace choreographer Dipesh Sekhri to conduct auditions in Chandigarh & the region. 
Aradhna Nichani, Director with SK Group of Entertainment which is the company organising the Auditions said that anyone between the age of 4 to 35 , with a passion for acting or dancing can show his or her skills in the auditions and this can open doors to the show which will be running on channel- E24.
Apart from Dipesh & Aradhna those who were present at the press meet included Sarita Tomar, Director, Texas Therapeutics & The 5Tuns, the company which is supporting the event.   Ashwin Pradhan of Dance India Dance Season 1 fame from Solan, Neetu Bamrah, MD of Rudraksha Educational Services from Mohali, which is also supporting the event, Pinky Sandhu a famous Punjabi singer from Chandigarh and Pradeep Bhatia MD of S.K.Cargo and Logistics from Jalandhar who all are supporting Dipesh in his endeavour.
Sarita Tomar said that this platform will really work for all the talented students from schools, Colleges, universities and dance studio & acting studios from not just tricity but the region as well. The opportunity should be utilised well by the talented artists.
Gurmukh Walia, who's company JSA Immigration is helping out by supporting the event, said that much of the talent is wasted because it is not recognised on time and by right people. This time, we have both i.e. talented judges & the opportune time --i.e the auditions. He don’t think that there could be of a better chance than this for the budding artists.
Neetu Bamrah, MD, Rudraksha Educational Services said that the region has got a lot of talent & the artists from this area try their best & are hard working. We expect a lot of people for the auditions this Sunday.
So come Sunday and tricity's talented dancers & actors have a great chance of showing their skills in front of eminent judges from the Entertainment Industry, which will surely open the door to a bright future for the contestants.

Civil Dispensary, Sec-49 Celebrates World Malaria Day

Chandigarh 25th April:- On occasion of World Malaria Day, Civil Dispensary, sec 49 run by Deptt. Of Community Medicine, PGIMER conducted awareness generation session in Economically Weaker Society (EWS) of sector 49 under guidance of Dr Madhu Gupta, Faculty –in-charge of the dispensary. Dr Bashar, Senior resident, Community Medicine, PGIMER delivered the health talk to the audience and told about the various aspects of the disease like its symptoms, its causative organism and ways to prevent it. He specifically emphasized on the need of maintaining cleanliness in and around their houses as the causative organism, the female Anopheles, breeds in dirty water like that of drains and emphasized on the use of bed nets and wearing of full sleeve cloths during evening. Ms. Veda, Staff Nurse, Civil dispensary told about the need of early identification of diseases and seeking medical care. A total of 30 participants attended the session and were benefited from it.
A painting competition was also held based on the theme of prevention of malaria and other vector borne diseases among school children of government Model School, sector 49.
