Maharishi Dayanand Public School organizes Scouts & Guides Komal Pad Training Camp

Chandigarh 27^th November:- On the third day, ongoing Scouts & Guides  Komal Pad Training Camp at Maharishi Dayanand Public School, Chandigarh, and great enthusiasm was seen among the scouts and Guides seeking training for five  days.

Trainer Pushpraj gave useful tips and tough training to the scouts and guides. The training on  the second day include- whistle command, elaborate First- aid tricks, Handy useful of scarf and other available materials during disaster, ten basic rules of scouting, a prayer song
universally sung nationally  was also taught to the trainees. Vijay Jaiswal trained the students how to operate the fire equipment  for protection during fire.

State Secretary, Hindustan Scouts & Guides, Dr. Vinod Sharma encouraged the students, and was seen throughout training to boost the morale of students.

MC Election:Ravi Kant Sharma of BJP to Contest from Ward 3

Demonetization Helps Checking Black Money:Sanjay Tandon

Chandigarh 26^th November:- BJP Chandigarh President, Sanjay Tandon today welcomed Manoj Sinha, Minister of State for Communications, in Chandigarh. Senior BJP leaders, including Chander Shekhar, State General Secretary, Gajender Sharma, State Office Secretary and Amit Rana, Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha (BJYM). 

The Minister during his meeting informed demonetization had got encouraging results from the post offices which had played an important role in helping common man during the demonetization drive. In Post Offices of Chandigarh old bank notes worth Rs. 21.14 crore were exchanged from 10^thNov. to 24^th Nov.  Similarly deposit of old bank note worth of Rs.  59.27 Crore took place in Post Offices Savings Schemes in Post Offices in Chandigarh. 

There is one Head Post Office and 53 Sub Post Offices in Chandigarh. All these post offices played an important role in helping common man during the demonetization drive. Special cash exchange counters were setup in all Post Offices in Chandigarh to facilitate people in exchanging the old 500 and 1000 bank notes. Separate counters were set up for senior citizens, physically challenged and ladies. 

Sanjay Tandon also apprised the minister of the issues concerning the residents of city. He informed no problems were faced by residents of Chandigarh and welcomed the demonetization move of Narendra Modi which has helped in checking black money. He said the move is giving good results and will also improve the financial health of the country.

G.N.Holy Heart (Smart) School Celebrates its Annual Function

Chandigarh 26^th November:- G.N.Holy Heart (Smart) School, Mauli Jagran, Chandigarh concluded its Annual Function. It was a beautiful bonanza of events immersed in the theme RHYME & RHYTHM. The Tiny tot’s showcased little bundles of joy were running helter skelter at the moment. The event brought to life the colours of childhood, with programs like dance, song and drama. Apart from the various fields of art, the children performed an unusual and vast array of dances including the, Hip Hop, Funky Style, Samba, Western dances, Bhangra, Salsa, Kawali and highlight of the show was the last presentation of the school unity in diversity in this item Folk dances of various states were shown in the true spirit of incredible India. First of all tiny tots presents the dance on various bollywood tunes.  The students as they showcased their talent by splashing of colors and happiness all over. Students also did a ramp walk while dressing as fruits, vegetables and flowers with massage to save earth.  The function begins from lamp lighting.

The students also depicted the progress of the era of mythology to the modern times. Punjabi Rap and Heal the World dance performances stole the show of the day. The highlights of the day were Cynosure Seasons, rock n roll and folk dance. Hold the dripping Drop and Bhangra was center attraction with a message to save water for future generations. 

At the end Chairman, Lal Singh gives few words to the audiences and the Chief Guest Ajay Dutta, National Gen.Secy. Bharat Vikas Parishad honored the winner the prizes & certificates and motivated them to work hard in future to excel.  The students gave the eye catching performances.

नोटबंदी मे देश के सभी नागरिको के कंधे से कंधा मिलकर खडा होकर योगदान देना होगा: ज्योतिंद्रभाई मेहता

Chandigarh 26^th November:- सहकारिता सामान्य लोगो की क्रय शक्ति बढाने वाली तथा बडे प्रमाण में रोजगार सृजन कर स्वावलंबी का मार्ग प्रशास्त करने एवं देश की वास्तविक व सर्वसमावेशीय विकास की सच्ची प्रक्रिया है। इसमे गरीब,पिछडे,बनवासी,अनुसूचित जाति -जनजाति जैसे लोगो के आॢथक उत्थान करने की असीम शक्ति है। सहकार भारती के चंडीगढ,पंजाब अधिवेशन मे सहकार भारती के राट्रीय अध्यक्ष एंव नेफकब के चेयरमैन ज्योतिंद्रभाई मेहता ने व्यक्त किए। उन्होने अपने संबोधन मे कहा कि जिस प्रकार अमूल की कोपरेटिव के माध्यम प्रतिदिन 29 लाख महिलाएं 15 हजार गांवों से 17 करोड का दुध इकटटा कर न केवल प्रगति मे देश ही नही पूरी दुनिया मे ढाका बजाया है। अन्य किसी भी प्राइवेट सैक्टर मे नही हो सकता।

राष्ट्रीय स्वयसेवक संघ के पंजाब के सह प्रातकार्यवाह मुनीश्वर लाल ने ग्रामीण किसानो की आय में दुगुनी वृद्धि व विकास के कार्य के लिए आगे आने का अहवान किया।

CM Lays Foundation Stone of Advanced Autism and Research Care Centre

Chandigarh 26^th November:- Punjab Chief Minister Parkash Singh Badal today asked the Health Department to tie up with the World Class Autism Centre for providing the best treatment facilities to the patients inflicted with Autism here at the upcoming Advanced Autism and Research Care Centre, first of its kind not within the country but across the globe. 

Addressing gathering here after laying the foundation stone of Advanced Autism and Research Care Centre here in Sector 79 at the cost of Rs.16 crore, the Chief Minister said that he was extremely pained to know about the trauma and hardships faced by the children suffering from Autism and especially their parents for their upbringing right from their birth, from a doctor in his medical team whose child was also suffering from Autism since birth. Parkash Singh Badal said that his doctor’s ordeal in nurturing his Autistic child inspired him to do something tangible for the welfare of such children and this Advanced Centre was a positive step in that direction.

Parkash Singh Badal asked both the Advisor and Principal Secretary Health to work out modalities to ink an Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with some world acclaimed Autism institute to bring the best faculty and staff to provide the best treatment facilities to the children inflicted with Autism and training to their parents to handle them with utmost care and patience.  

Listing the major initiatives of SAD-BJP government in the healthcare sector, the Chief Minister said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi has laid the foundation stone of the upcoming All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) over an area of 200 acre at a cost of Rs.926 crore at Bathinda. Likewise, Homi Bhabha Cancer Care & Research Institute in collaboration with Tata Memorial Centre was coming up at New Chandigarh at a cost of Rs.480 crore. Punjab was the first state to launch Chief Minister Cashless Cancer Care Scheme besides upgrading infrastructure its medical colleges at Patiala, Faridkot and Amritsar besides setting up a 100 bedded Advanced Cancer Institute at Bathinda for providing best treatment to the patients suffering from cancer. Recently, the state government has taken a major initiative to provide free treatment to the patients suffering from Hepatitis-C. 

Earlier, Dr. Gurpreet Singh member from Chief Minister’s Medical Team gave a brief account of Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and said that the parents of these differently abled children should motivate them to excel in their fields of interests like music, dance, painting, sports etc. He thanked the Chief Minister for this unique initiative and hoped this centre would go a long way in mitigating the sufferings of children inflicted with Autism and their parents. 

Talking to the media persons on the sidelines of the function, the Chief Minister reacted sharply to the irresponsible utterances of the MLAs who left the SAD-BJP alliance government and joined Congress, saying such turncoats follow a pro-party line while they were a part of the alliance and moment they are out they start criticizing us because their sole motive was to secure ticket from any party by hook or crook to pursue their vested interests. 

Asked to comment on Kejriwal’s statement to give the post of Deputy Chief Minister to a Dalit, the Chief Minister said that how merely a post of Deputy Chief Minister will help to transform the destiny of under privileged sections of the society when you are not sincere towards them from the core of your heart. He said it was on record that SAD-BJP launched many pro-poor schemes like Atta-Dal, Shagun, Bhagat Puran Singh Sehat Bima Yojana and several others to improve their economic lot without any political motive.
